Maid Brigade

They did a really good job! Two women came and stayed a few hours and the house looked great when they were finished.

It took longer then I thought it would and I was not completely satisfied with the results.

The job went very well. Three cleaners arrived on time with the franchise owner and reviewed what we wanted cleaned. The owner then left and the three personnel each cleaned a room before working together on the major project - the kitchen. They did an excellent job.

They called in advance to make an appointment and request what areas I wanted cleaned. They arrived on time and reviewed what they would be cleaning. They did an amazing job cleaning all areas of the bathrooms and kitchens, including the blinds. I was amazed at how clean everything was when they were done.

When I called to make the appointment, the woman on the phone was friendly and helpful. She really tried to accommodate my schedule. Two lovely women arrived right on time with all the necessary supplies. I showed them around and pointed out particular areas that needed cleaning. I also indicated that certain items needed dusting, but were extremely delicate and breakable. Then I left for work. The results I found when I got home were great! Everything was sparkling clean and done just to my liking. Nothing was broken which was wonderful. Other services have broken things and left them broken without letting me know. I even came home once after a service had cleaned to find one of my precious breakables repaired with Bandaids. Thank goodness for the Maid Brigade! This was a Big Deal on Angie's List, but I'll be sure to contact the Maid Brigade on my own.

t tI was told that they would arrive between 8 and 9 A.M. They arrived at 9 A.M. Once I introduced myself and they did the same, they asked what I wanted done and I told them and they got right to work. They were quiet and appeared to work the whole time they were here until they said they finished - just before noon. Things appeared fine and they left. I was not entirely happy about the results of the visit. I found areas that were not dusted thoroughly. For instance, on the headboard the clock radio was not moved and had not even been fully dusted around. Dust was left in front and to the left side of the radio. In addition, a space was left undusted on the dining room table among others. As for the bathrooms, none of the bathrooms had been cleaned behind the toilet nor were they cleaned at the junction of the floor and the toilet. Downstairs the floors were slippery after they left. In the future, I would give them what I wanted them to use on the floors rather than whatever product they did use. The vacuuming appeared to have been thoroughly done.

I purchased and Angie's List Big Deal for $79. I was supposed to receive two maids for two hours and instead received three for almost two hours. The women worked efficiently and did as much as I think I could expect for the time that they had. The low grade for responsiveness is due to the two weeks I waited for an initial return call, requiring me to make another call to schedule the service date. I rated the cost on what their usual price would be ($159). Otherwise a generally positive experience. A field manager came near the end of the time to introduce herself and to ask about my impressions. I would use the service again.

I was very pleased with the work from Maids Brigaide. They were nice, courteous and effecient.

They are good. They showed up on time and they got right to work. They didn’t screw around. They were very good. I spent $79 for four hours as I recall. It was a deal. They do good work. I will use their services again in the future.

The ladies came at the time promised and worked for several hours. They were professional and did an EXCEPTIONAL job cleaning. They were able to clean the walls to the point where they don't need painting, they were just horribly dirty. My Realtor came back to the home after the ladies left and she was floored! They had done such a wonderful job that the house didn't look like anybody even lived in it. I am extremely happy with the work these ladies did and would hire them again in the future.

Overall cleaning is good, and the women that come are nice. I have regular service and typically have the same women come, which I appreciate so I don't need to repeat specific instructions each time. I have had an issue with them not showing up within their scheduled time frame; on multiple occasions, they have come up to an hour before the scheduled timeframe. They do a nice job on the wood floors; kitchens and baths are generally cleaned to my satisfaction. The one place I wish they would focus on a little more is the baseboards in the rooms with hardwood floors. It does not seem that the baseboards are dusted or wiped down. I wouldn't expect them to do all baseboards in one visit, but other cleaning services I have had in the past would do one room of 'deep cleaning' each visit, which would include the baseboards in that room. I would also give management an 'A' for their responsiveness. I feel they are easy to get a hold of when necessary, and accomodating if there is ever an issue requiring rescheduling, etc.

We called and they got us on the schedule on short notice as I had a family party coming up and realized I could not get everything done on time without help. The team the company sent was professional as was everyone we encountered from the company. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the ladies as my house has never looked so clean. The pricing was fair, as they gave me an estimate based on the size of my house and it came in at that rate - I like no surprises. I plan on setting up regular service after seeing the quality of their work.

The quality of their work varies depending on who comes out. The last few times it has been the same people. They sent out a team once that left all of my furniture in the middle of the floor and they knocked the curtain down in one of my bedrooms, and they left it like that. They put my bedspread on upside down and backwards. The other teams are okay but they have broken a few things.

The ladies worked very h****** a difficult job.

They were very professional and friendly. They offered to clean the cabinets and behind the stove. I was blown away with the results. We will call them again clean our home.

Their prices seem to be a little higher. Their prices were almost double what other family members are paying and our house is smaller. They were responsive and professional.

They are pretty good. I did have a couple of small issues, but when I called they came back and took care of them. They provide good customer service and they do an okay job of cleaning.

I called and got a phone estimate of between $110 and $153. Even though I have a small ranch house and clean regularly, I was told that the initial cleaning is so thorough that it costs a bit more. I chose the day I wanted the service to be done, and they did arrive as promised. However, I was disappointed by a 3 inch radius coffee stain left on the kitchen floor, a greasy smear left on a coffee table, dirt left underneath and on the wall behind my shampoo bottle in the tub, and noticeable loose dirt on the floor in our guest room. Finally, they left the front screen door propped open when they left, which to me advertises that no one is home. I was going to chalk this up as a lesson learned and not use Maid Brigade again until I got the cleaning bill for $215, which was $65 higher than my estimate. I called the owner of the company, and he got back to me promptly about my complaints. He said they were so busy the day I wanted them to clean that they used their Mundelein employees instead of the Arlington Heights employees, and that I should ask for the A.H. employees in the future. He apologized for the money difference, and said that it is the responsibility of the phone center employees of the 800 number that I called (I got it from their website) to inform me the final cost could be more than the estimate. He said he would take the $65 difference off the bill, and offered 50% off my next cleaning. Although I considered the offer, I've decided I'm not comfortable giving Maid Brigade a second chance on work that wasn't done right the first time.

I want to give them an A-. Called them to come clean kitchen & bathroom after purchasing the house. They were responsive, prompt and pretty good at cleaning. Called them back to contract for bi-weekly cleaning of whole house. $102 for 1700 sq. feet. They (2 people) spend about 75 minutes in our house each time. They are friendly, nice and responsive. Communication is not a problem. Seems a little pricey but not exorbitant given that they take care of taxes, etc. They always call to let us know what time they're coming, usually accurately. They're pretty good at cleaning but have scratched the new floor moving a chair around. Plan to continue using them indefinitely and are pretty satisfied.

I felt they cleaned way too fast. So with them cleaning too fast, they did not clean everything completely. The manager was very nice and gave us our money back because the cleaners did not do everything that they were supposed to.

Each week, the day before our service, the office calls to remind us the team is coming at the appointed time. They have always been prompt, and are thorough. It is always a pleasure coming home to a clean house. I am rather picky, and I have yet to find something to complain about with Maid Brigade.

They did a professional job they do what they are supposed to and they do it well. They normally have about two people at my house for about an hour and a half. I would recommend them to other people.

They did an outstanding professional service. They reinforced prior use in other locations.
