Maid Brigade

I hired Maid Brigade after I had surgery, because I was unable to do many of the tasks myself. They were able to schedule me on the day I requested, the team of two maids arrived on time, were very friendly, thorough, and organized. They also brought all their own equipment and supplies. I have had other housecleaning services in the past, but Maid Brigade by far was the best. When they were done my home was "sparkling", they paid attention to every detail in every room. I have hired them on a regular basis, and would recommend them to all. The office staff is very friendly and professional as well. So glad I found this company.

Disappointing. Ladies focused on 2nd floor (and did a great job tidying an office - but that was not the focus requested), had little time to do thorough job on 1st floor ... left residue on kitchen floor from cleaning of appliances that I had to clean up before guests arrived, many areas needed thorough dusting after.. Would not rehire.

I am very pleased with my overall experience with Maid Brigade. I submitted an online estimate form and received a call within hours of submission. The office staff on the phone was very helpful, professional, and friendly. They were able to fit me into the schedule with only 48 hour notice. The cleaning crew arrived promptly within the given arrival window. The girls that showed up were nice, professional, and did an amazing job on the deep cleaning. My grandparents were extremely satisfied with how their home sparkled and shined after they finished. I highly recommend this service to others and will definitely use them again in the future!

The really do a great job each and every time. We usually have the same two ladies work on our house and they are usually punctual and always very professional. We have been using them for over a year and a half now and will continue to use Maid Brigade going forward. They do a wonderful job and I would highly recommend them to others!

Maid Brigade is a real deal. We bought their deep cleaning service and are very happy with the results. The cleaning crew were very professional and thorough in their cleaning. I would strongly recommend them for house cleaning.

I called to have one full bathroom, one powder room and the kitchen cleaned. I did not need the bathtub cleaned. When they came I told them the full bath did not need to be cleaned. They only needed to do the powder room and kitchen. I was quoted two maids between 54 minutes and 1 hours, and 21 minutes, and cost between $80.00 - $103.00. I was charged $101. They were barely here an hour. Which should have been $85 max. Again they had one less room to clean. One lady cleaning offered to clean "off the clock"; gave me her personal phone number to call her. The piece of paper she used had another customers name/address. That night I got a call from the lady's daughter saying her mom does not speak English well and she was calling to talk to me about her mom doing a side job. I called the office first thing in the morning telling them how unprofessional it was that their employee took my information was told someone would call me Monday, no one called.

It is rather unusual I am writing a review for anything. At this point due to the services that are provided to me I felt I would put in some good words for this service provider. I am speaking of the Maid Brigade Cleaning service based out of Rolling Meadows Illinois. I have been using them for around 3 years now to clean our home. I have utilized cleaning services for at around 15 years and unfortunately along the way we have had the need to change from one service to another for what felt like every 6 months to a year. The previous companies we used seem to bring us on board and provide pretty good service for around two months or so. Once on board it appeared that the quality of clean would drop Long story short my wife and I were discussing the services we receive and we both replied I am surprised we haven't had to change which triggered my desire to write this. We use them to clean our home on a bi weekly schedule. The cleanings they perform have been consistent since the day we started using them. We still get that same feeling of "Wow" when we walk in after they have been to our home. I personally enjoy the little lines in the carpet from vacuuming after they leave. My wife on the other hand likes the sinks and the hardwood floors. In addition the flexibility they provide us to work around our busy schedules. Needless to say we are very happy with them. I am considering using them as well at our office facilities. I expect the same result when that happens. Well that brings me to the end of my review. If you are considering using the Maid Brigade I would encourage you to get started. I think you will very happy you called them.

I have used Maid Brigade in the past and was so delighted with there work I hired them again to clean my Boyfriends apartment for his birthday. They did amazing again! They cleaned in every single corner of his condo, I was, again, very impressed.

Maid brigade is the real deal! We have tried to find a solid cleaning service and these guys are amongst the best we have found. They take great care of the details and our house is always sparkling when its done! we don't normally review on Angie's list but these guys deserve the review- they do very good work!

I first used maid brigade when I forgot to schedule a move in cleaning for my new home. They answered the call professionally and were able to get an emergency crew to my home on a Saturday with less than 48 hours notice. That crew did an amazing job. The home was spotless. I have since used them to do general cleaning on my home and have been pleased with the responsiveness and the results.

It was two women who came and they did a fantastic job! They were at my home for 6 hours and did a lot of cleaning. They cleaned everything! They cleaned every room thoroughly. I know the cost was a couple hundred dollars, but I felt the price was reasonable for what they did. Their regular pricing is about the same as everybody else.

Very thorough--there have been VERY few 'issues' and I hesitate to even call them issues. Very minor problems--very good communication and responsiveness. I appreciate that alot!

We hired Maid Brigade for a one-time cleaning based upon 'Angie's List' reviews. The two-person crew arrived promptly; and overall did a good job cleaning. However, they broke one light bulb off in a chandelier socket and left etched ring marks and a spill on our newly cleaned and sealed marble bathroom counter. When contacted about the issue, the Maid Brigade Supervisor promptly sent someone out to examine the damage. No one called me back, so the next week I called the Supervisor to see what would be done to address the countertop issue. The Supervisor denied any responsibility (she explained the crew couldn't have caused the damage because they use 'green' cleaning materials. She didn't apologize for the broken light bulb). Unfortunately the ring and spill marks were not there the morning before the cleaning, but were there when I returned home after the "Maid Brigade' visit, so I don't know any other way the marks could have appeared. Although my husband was home during their visit (and was able to replace the broken off light bulb), he doesn't use that sink (which is one of two sinks in that bathroom). So overall I thought Maid Brigade did a pretty good job of cleaning, but a terrible job of customer service. They probably could have had someone come out to fix the etched area for a few dollars; and they would have had a satisfied customer. Instead, they handled the situation poorly, and with such an unsatisfactory response to my complaint, and with many other options out there, I wouldn't use them again and cannot recommend them.

The job quoted included cleaning a deep clean of a 750 square foot apartment as well as the refrigerator. The refrigerator was not cleaned and although this may have been an honest mistake the cleaning crew moved by makeup box on the floor next to the shower while cleaning my bathroom and did not put it back to its proper place. The shower curtain was covering it but so it could easily have been missed, however my powder eyeshadow had fallen out of the box and broke on my tile floor. Other minor details were missed such as mug rings on my dining table and dusting of my TV stand. Everything else that was clean was nice but being a first time customer and being charged with a deep clean, I was dissapointed with the service. The time taken to address the matter was also more than expected. After 4 phone calls and several e-mail exchanges and improper billing, I decided Maid Bergaide was not for me. They offered a 10 dollar discount for breaking my eyeshadow and offered to come back and clean my fridge however before doing so they billed be the full quoted amount for the service. The discount was initially not applied which I had to follow up on and was addressed. I am not sure how they would know how long the cleaning would take before completing it which I found rather unethical and asked them not to come and remove the charge from the quote. In my opinion the amount I paid for the cleaning in exchange for the service provided was too much.

I received a call right away and it took me a few days to get back to them. I returned the call yesterday and left another message stating that I needed it before Thanksgiving. When they called me back they made me go through the whole spiel just to tell me they didn't have anything available. Not very respectful of my time. They also seemed pricey in comparison with other quotes I have received.

Clean my house. |If it's their first time in your home, they will not come unless you agree to an outrageous price for first clean even if you're just switching cleaning companies. Too expensive. Cleaning was not top notch. |Office personnel not too friendly when you call in to complaint. Not sure the date is correct.

I have used Maid Brigade in the past to clean my rental property after tenants move out. They've always done an excellent job and I've always been pleased. My Real Estate Agent is very picky and even she was pleased with the cleaning. I had tenants move out Nov 5th, 2013 and had contacted this company to do the move out cleaning as I had done in the past. The tenants had two long hair black and white cats, so I made sure MB was aware of that there would be an inordinate amount of cat hair all over the house to clean up. I will state that I am happy with the cleaning they did in the house BUT I am very unhappy with how they cleaned the sheer vertical blinds that are in the dining room and family room. It appeared from the amount of cat hair on the sheers that the cats walked in front of the sheer blinds and between the sheer blinds and the windows. There was an excessive amount of cat hair to be removed from the floor up to about 12"-18". When I called to set up the appointment for the cleaning I stressed that the sheers needed to be specifically addressed because of the excessive cat hair. When I got the paperwork for the appointment via email from them, I returned an email AGAIN stressing that there was excessive cat hair on the sheer blinds. The day before the cleaning I CALLED to make sure that the message was given to the ladies about the cat hair and I was assured that it was. The following day the final inspection of the property was done for the tenants and the inspector called me to tell me that there was still an excess of cat hair on the sheers and it was unacceptable. I immediately called to talk to the office and get the ladies back out. I suggested that they use sticky rollers to get the cat hair off.....I was told that there was a "Protocol for this"....when the ladies FINALLY showed up LATE on Monday, they were trying to remove the cat hair using wet cloths...they were unsuccessful in removing much of anything. I had to call in another person to go to the house WITH sticky rollers and she said the cat hair was removed very easily with very little effort. Had these ladies been provided with sticky rollers in the first place they would have been able to remove the cat hair and I would have been please with them as I had been in the past. How can you expect your cleaning crew to do an appropriate job if they're not given all the tools they need? Would I use them again for a move out cleaning? Obviously no.

After a rocky experience initially, Maid Brigade stepped up and made the corrections needed to complete my request. I would recommend working with them as the customer experience appears to be really important to them.

I had two workers come to clean my mom's house prior to putting it on the market. Wasn't too happy with the quality of the work - it was adequate, but not at the level I would have cleaned it myself had I had the time. For example, I had them wash the floors, and there were areas were flecks of paint had settled on the wood. These were not drops of paint, but little flecks that had fallen off the painting tape when it was removed. They made no effort to remove these and the soapy water just sort of glued them to the spot. After I pointed this out in a few places, they made the effort to remove them, but after they left I found many similar examples. I also asked them to wash the walls on the staircase going down to the basement, and while they washed most of these two walls, they forgot the area around the lightswitch, which was one of the grimiest areas. Things like this showed a lack of attention to detail or quality.

Maid Brigade came and did a fantastic job cleaning my post rehab/construction home prior to my moving in. The company accommodated my needs on short notice and the two women did a superlative job. I couldn't have been more pleased and it was a really big job! They were so hard working and professional. It's hard to find such good quality these days. I will definately use them again.

Outstanding effort by the two women, who divided the house between them. Scrubbed all baseboards and trim, dusted absolutely everything, bookshelves, nick-knacks and every flat surface. Straightened up and organized, cleaned hardwood floors and rugs, vacuumed all carpets. I am most impressed with their efforts in the kitchen, scrubbing down all cabinet faces, clean stove completely and even clean the detailed gunk on a hanging light fixture with a wire cage. Honestly, as a bachelor, I have not seen my house look so good in a long time. As a new customer I had limited my service to two hours. I certainly could have used more, but I was rebuilding a tile wall in a bathroom so they did not work there. But I am certainly pleased by the diligence and effort they applied to cleaning my home.

I am a neat freak and no longer able to physically do major cleaning. So hiring a cleaning company was no easy task. Maid Brigade was able to accommodate my request for the day after closing. A team of two came in and did a FABULOUS JOB!! The ladies worked great together, no delegating who does what, they were professional, organized, hard working, did a few extra things I asked for and left my place sparkling clean!!!! The field manager even stopped by to make sure everything was being done to my satisfaction and I was happy with the service. That is the sign of a very confident company!! I may use them again for once a month cleaning. The ladies that come were a gem!!! Thank you :o)

Maid Brigade has been cleaning our house regularly every 2 weeks for about 9 months now. They generally do a nice job - it's great coming home at the end of day when I know they will be cleaning. Floors always look great - tile, carpet, laminate flooring. Kitchen is always shining and clean. Surfaces are dusted well. My only issue has been that one of our bathtubs will still have limescale and mold in it after the cleaning - I think it's because they use "green" products that can't take care of these problems. So I end up trying to clean them before or after they come to keep on top of these problems. Seems like professionals should know how to take care of these but perhaps they consider that a "deep" cleaning, rather than a regular cleaning. Also, our mini-blinds aren't always dusted well. House does always smell nice and clean and people have been generally reliable in showing up when promised. I would recommend this service to others. They do a much better job than another service a used a couple of years ago.

The ladies did a wonderful job. They were on time, very friendly, and worked hard. This is a large house and the deep cleaning was a big job. I'd lost my previous housekeeper some time ago and had been attempting to take care of things myself. I finally gave up, realizing I needed help. They paid attention to every nook and cranny, and were very careful with the wood floors etc.. The place is sparkling now. I have now signed up for regular service. I highly recommend this company!

Have used Maid Brigade for the past several months. They come in and know what areas to work on and work without supervision. When they leave the place is clean. Very pleasant to work with.
