Maid Brigade

They arrived early (about 20 minutes), which is fine, but I wasn't notified in advance and they were lucky I was there. The special of $145 for maid service for 4 hours was actually 2 maids@2 hours. I hired them for an extra hour to make sure they can focus on cleaning in the kitchen. The kitchen appliances were cleaned well. They cleaned the floors with just vinegar and water. I wasn't told this before they started to clean them, so make sure to know what your options are ahead of time. If you don't have time to clean yourself, I recommend hiring this company. But if you have the time to do it yourself, I recommend going that route. You will clean the house much better doing it yourself and saving yourself a few hundred dollars in the process. I ended up cleaning the floors myself a few days later and focused on corners and stains that wern't really visibile unless you inspected it thoroughly. Overall, they did a good job, just don't expect it to be as thorough as it would be if done yourself.

Very impressed with the punctuality, responsiveness, and the fact that they had the Supervisor out to check on the services that were performed while the cleaners were still at my home. The cleaners did a good cleaning. The only part that did not live up to my expectations with a deep cleaning was that they would really clean the baseboards and corners of rooms, they cleaned them, but only slightly, meaning I could see some dusty areas that were missed. Overall good experience, I would use maid brigade in the future.

In general they do a good job with the cleaning and I have used them monthly for approximately 6 years. They change all bedding, clean and vacuum all floors, dust, and clean kitchens and baths. Maids are always courteous and friendly. My only issue with them over the years has been their arrival time. They give a two hour window for arrival, and for many years they would arrive up to an hour before that two hour window I was quoted. I think this has improved in the last year or so, with them more often arriving within the window quoted. I would, and have, recommended them to neighbors.

The team arrives as scheduled and are very pleasant and ready to work. They do a outstanding job in every room and leave nothing undone. I decided to call Maid Brigade again to help clean my mother in law's home. I have used this service before for a deep cleaning and was very pleased with their services in the past. Just as I expected, the services were outstanding once again! The girls did a wonderful job! They arrived on time and utilized every minute of the 2 hour cleaning. They were fast, efficient, and very professional. The office staff was very pleasant over the phone and was able to schedule me on short notice. I am very glad that I have finally found a reliable, professional, cleaning company. I absolutely love the work they've performed at both properties. I will definetly continue to use their services and recommend them to everybody!

I bought a coupon online for four hours of cleaning. Three women arrived to clean for one hour and twenty minutes. They were able to clean my kitchen and three bathrooms. The cleaning that they accomplished was very good, no complaints. The answering service was prompt and professional. They would not accept cash, only wanted a credit card on file, which I prefer not to do. I was able to book a cleaning on very short notice, which is useful. The cleaning people were punctual, good at their work, and focused. Their rate per hour is very expensive. When I calculated the number of hours they would need to clean my entire house times the hourly rate they charge, it was double of what I would spend on other cleaning services I have tried recently.

WOW, just WOW. First time cleaning was very disappointing, dusting was sub par, missed entire rooms. Left trash out and animals got into it, all over my yard. For a first clean this showed some red flags as usually the first clean is amazing, then it does downhill. I have had a service for the past 15 years, know what to show them to do and what is expected. Agreed to a discounted rate and that I would show them (as in, shelves, picture frames and entertainment center) what I thought should be dusted. Trash cans are in the alley, directly through the yard. 2nd cleaning I almost missed them they were in and out quickly. Found a few more obvious items missed, showed them the trash cans. Asked them to move the couches (2 on sliders, on hardwood floor. My 4 year old regularly moves them around), one cleaner called her supervisor Kim who said this might be too hard for them. So I helped her move it. After they left I noticed my daughter's entire room and all the hallway pictures were not dusted. I spoke with Kim who said maybe it should have been deep cleaned, I told her I did not consider picture frames a deep clean item, did she? Then she said the cleaners should not be expected to put the trash in the trash cans in case it's raining, etc. Said the hour they were there at $38 per cleaner, per hour (so, 3x$38=$114) was actually more than the $127 they were charging me. I saw where this was going and had already decided this was not a good fit but then she casually mentioned the "physical altercation". What?!?! She said she was told by one of the cleaners I shoved (hit?!) her - I said what in the world are you talking about?! When I helped them move the "heavy" couch, on sliders, on hardwood floor. If they honestly believed I in some way attacked their employee, would that not have been the lead in this conversation?! I'm floored. And of course, they're fired.

It was a Big Deal purchase. I had them do a portion of my home but overall, I was satisfied. The service was good. The staff was good and very helpful. What stood out the most was the fact that they were local. They had also mentioned that they used more natural products. They were right on time. We were the first on their list for the day. They gave me a time window but they arrived right at the beginning. We requested to have a morning time slot and they were able to confirm 48 hours before that we would be the first appointment.

The two ladies really focused on the two areas that I had previously outlined as my top five priorities. In the two hour window, they were able to complete two of the five areas of focus.

Cleaning was good, of what they did, but I just feel like i did not get a good value. I would not use them again.

All of the cleaning was great - they did a great job for the amount of time they spent. The reason for the B review was that they needed more than the four hours I initially paid for, and they stopped cleaning. Prior to the appointment I had explicitly talked to the company on the phone, and agreed to extra cleaning time. I also signed the contract that said i agreed to extra cleaning time (which was optional). I knew the place was dirty and needed a lot of work. However when they could not reach me on my cell phone (i was working) at the exact time they reached the time limit, they sent the crew home. I do not blame the cleaning crew for that at all. If you ask me to sign a contract that explicitly authorizes extra time, why stop cleaning and ask me again?

They were very easy and accommodating to schedule the appointment with. They arrived on time and were very polite. It was a 2 person crew, to clean our home for 2 hours. They were very thorough and finished on time. We will definitely use them again in the future and highly recommend their service.

the price was more than reasonable for the work that was done. I was very pleased with there promptness and professionalism. they placed back any thing that they had to move during the cleaning process.

They came and did the work as described. I initially thought that the price was a little high but I'd happily pay an extra $30 or so to get a good job done.

I had been approached from another maid company who was seeking our business for our home cleaning. They had been pursuing me over and over and finally convinced me to allow them to demonstrate their services with a free cleaning. In addition they offered their services for a one year trial term of $120.00 per cleaning. Due to a party we were having for our son I felt their first visit should be a really good one and I would set it up just prior to that. Low and behold the party was this past week end and they had come on Friday. My wife told me they were a half hour late and where rather rough with our house while vacuuming as well as dropped a bunch of items we have around the house on the counters. Nothing broke luckily. My point is this. The term you get what you pay for really applied to this case. Like most home when parties come around the husband seems to have many new jobs that magically appear in order for the party to happen. I found myself cleaning up the dining room of dust and dirt around the base boards which lead me from one room to the next. Not happy about that. Long story short I should have never let them in the door. I have worked with the Maid Brigade folks for a long while know and they consistently have done a great job with no additional work on my end. Cheaper or free in the world of maid services can only be a bad thing I have learned. Stick with these folks or you'll end up cleaning things yourself. That's my quote for the day. RMB

It was nice to come home from work and have a clean house- I have 2 dogs and hair is a real problem. They did a great job of getting the hair up, and the bathrooms were spotless. They also did a great job with our kitchen/fridge-I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Two Maid Brigade women arrived on time. They had all their own equipment, including small ladders. This is the home of a 93 year old disabled man. The entire house was filthy, and filled with cigar smoke. These two ladies hand cleaned everything, including baseboards, ceiling moulding, and ceiling fixtures. Curtains were vacumed. All appliances were hand scrubbed until their original white color was restored.. Bathroom fixtures now shine! All floors were washed. After they were done, I marvelled at how clean the house was. Visitors are still commenting on the cleanliness of the house. I would recommend Maid Brigade to anyone.

Went very well, crew of 2 were on time, supervisor came during the cleaning to check how things were going. Approximate time frame was right on. I was very pleased and have book every other week cleanings going forward.

The move-out cleaning was fantastic. It has never been so clean in 5 years. The ladies were very kind and professional. The customer service was very helpful and informed me when they were going to be done so I was able to check their work before they left. We had so much going on with the move, the last thing I wanted was my wife to worry about the cleaning too. We don't live there anymore but would definitely recommend their services to our old friends and neighbors."

My house looked great it all went very good. My wife just had a baby, and we loved coming home to a clean house. They helped me out a lot. The best part was them using the green products which do not harm my baby. I was very happy and would like regular bi-weekly service.

I had service for my mother in Arlington Heights. She was in need of a little help. The crew did a great job. Staff was thorough and very efficient. My mom says that the vacuuming was over the top good. She has 3 cats so that was a top priority for her. They were very kind ladies. Excellent cleaning. Thank You Maid Brigade

Everything was wonderful. Ladies went above and beyond our expectations. They were organized and very thorough. The field supervisor came out and checked their work. She asked me if I was so far satisfied with the cleaning. I really appreciated her extra effort in making sure my needs were met. I would recommend them to my friends and family!

When i called to make the appointment the customer service was kind and very patient. I had many questions since it was the first time I had this type of service. They were able to fit me in the schedule within that same week and also made it work for me in the morning time which was important to me. The day of the service I called them to see aproximately what time the maids would be arriving as i had to run a quick a errand. The office was able to track them with their tracking system and tell me where they were and how much longer they would be. This was totally convenient. Upon their arrival, maids were very nice and ready to work. They asked where they could start and went straight without wasting time. After I gave them my instructions they didnt bother me again. I was very satisfied with their job and will definetly use them again.
