Description of Work: "Overall the job looked good, except they tore up my rubber roof on one end. Took a month to finally get the installer to look at it(long story, should have been). There was a leak running inside the siding on to my deck. When he came out, with a cocky attitude, he climbed up and put a dab of caulk and said if that doesn't fix it, call a roofer. That's what I had to do and I feel he knew it too. No more leak. "

Description of Work: The entrance door to the house was replaced with a new entry and screen door. The materials were top quality and the workmanship was exceptional. The installer removed the doors and frame and replaced them with new ones. My wife and I were impressed with how great it looked. Everything was cleaned up afterwards and the old doors were disposed of. An all around very impressive company. The price includes six window treatments, two on each side of the window that will be installed at a later date. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: A two-man team replaced approximately 12 windows, some with special mullions and wood finishes to match our darker wood trim. They were finished within one workday, and we have enjoyed the difference in comfort level and the lowered cost of heating, even in this very cold winter.

+ 0 moreThe sales person was very professional with no added pressure. We had gotten a few estimates and they were the best for the material and over all cost. The three men that came to install were very professional. Each had their jobs and they made short work of all they had to do. They had the windows in and completely clean up the area in a short amount of time. We are both very pleased with their work. After the installation they made sure we did not have any questions not answered. I would recommend Window World anytime.
Description of Work: We had a sales person come to our home on April 9, 2013 to bid two sets of windows and patio doors. The front window in our living room was quite large with side windows. The other were side by side windows in the dining room.

Description of Work: They installed all new windows. They charge $189 per window, which is a great price. They did the work 2 winters ago, and the weather was nasty. I told him that since it was so bad out, they didn’t have to come down here. They told me that they were used to working in the cold and sure enough, they came and put all these windows in within 6 hours. There was one window that wasn’t right. However, they ordered a new window and they came back a few weeks later and installed the window.

Description of Work: We replaced 6 windows in our house. This is our 3rd or 4th time using Window World to replace windows. They are professional, clean up their mess, if any is made and complete the job that they were here to do. We would not use anyone else in Rockford for windows. We also have 9 more windows to replace and will be using them.

+ -1 moreThey were professional, prompt and the clean up was done well. Our only complaint is that they don’t look as good as some that we have seen and that is the finishing detail. We don’t remember how much we paid, but it was a lot more than the price they advertised. We probably would not use them again. They were average, but the clean up was excellent.

+ -1 moreI contacted Window World on 11/21/11 for an estimate on 4 bedroom windows and a picture window. The estimator advised the windows would be ready for installation sometime in January. To my surprise, Window World called sooner and arranged to have my windows installed on 12/22/11. Very fast service. Window World sent two installers. They arrived promptly. Both were very friendly. They were very professional and discussed the installation in detail before starting. They laid tarps throughout my home and cleaned up inside and out. The windows are awesome! I noticed a reduction in noise and hope to see a reduction in energy costs.
Description of Work: I contracted for 4 replacement windows and a picture window. They also installed flashing on all outside window frames.

They were very detailed in all they did and we could tell by watching them that they all had alot of experience.Our house now looks like a new house,even though it was built in 1973.We would highly recommend them to anyone needing windows replaced or vinyl siding installed.The sales representitive who we first met with was very friendly,professional and knowledgeable.He explained everything in detail and was not at all pushy.We can say honestly that we had an excellent experience with Window World of Rockford.
Description of Work: Window World employees installed 13 windows in our main house and garage.This work involved rebuilding 11 of the window frame structures as the wood was badly rotted .They also installed 9 windows in a three seasons porch attached to the back of our house. Another group of men installed insulated vinyl siding,aluminum soffit and facia over what was origional wood siding.

+ -1 moreHad nineteen windows installed. Windows were excellent quality as promised. The installers were prompt, courteous and very professional. They even suggested an easier method of trim installation that saved me considerable money. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the experience and the performance of the windows. My home was warmer in the winter and the noise from the street was dramatically reduced.
Description of Work: Nineteen windows installed in one day (in December!). Replaced aluminim trim. Insulated and caulked all around windows. Removed and hauled away all scrap. Cleaned up areas inside and out.
