He came early one morning so he could get the outlets installed before the painters arrived, he reworked his schedule so he could be here when the installers came with the dishwasher and the stove. He did all he could to make sure no time was lost on the job. He had a pleasant personality, worked quickly and efficiently and was sure to clean up after he finished the job. I believe his charges were very fair . I would not hesitate to reccomend him to a family member or friend and will definitely call him for any electrical work we have in the future.

 + -1 moreExcellent! Rob has done several jobs for me over the years at my residence in Rockford IL including wiring a hot tub and all of the electrical work when I finished my basement area. Each job was done professionally, efficiently and on time. Without question the best electrician I have ever worked with. He was always available when we had questions about the job and returned phone calls promptly. Rob also knows the local codes and specification requirements extremely well insuring the job was done right. The most recent kitchen remodel project, especially the lighting has drawn many compliments. I highly recommend Warkins Electric as a contractor.
Description of Work: Kitchen Remodel Project. Mr. Warkins installed several new light fixtures and rewired several switches and outlets as part of the remodel project.

Description of Work: I needed an electrician to install a fan and lighting in my new screened-in porch. My carpenter suggest Rob of Warkins Electric. I was impressed with Rob's work, so the fan and lighting project quickly expanded to a new fan and recessed lighting in my familyroom. Also another outlet in my laundry room. Throughout the project, Rob kept me informed and worked with me on the placement of switches and my choices in fixtures. I am very pleased with the outcome and will call Rob for any of my electical needs.

Description of Work: Added several lights in the kitchen ceiling and updated our electrical system all through the house and basement. We never hire any electrician other than Rob Warkins for our electrical needs regardless of how complicated the job is. We have had electricians turn down jobs in the past that they admitted they did not have the knowledge to do. Rob always has the same answer when we ask him to do a task for us that others had turned down, his answer is always "I can do it." What ever job or how complicated it is and regardless of how many others electricians have turned it down, DO NOT BE AFRAID TO CALL ROB, "HE CAN DO IT." In addition to his great knowledge and ability to complete any task, he also has a great personality, his fees are very reasonable and he is a very nice person to work with.  + -1 moreI think I expressed most of it above. For anybody who needs work done on their home or business will not regret dealing wiht Rob. He is very knowledgable and does not fall into short cuts.
Description of Work: Move external service: Had a major hickup with Comed not showing on time but Rob waited patiently until Comed showed up and finished their 10 minute job in 2 hours. Rob had to catch up with the waiting time because of weather but he really pulled the job out of the weeds for us. Wire and relocate internal service: Rob performed an excellent job on the inside breaker box with installation, very neat, precise and cost effective. Installation of a whole house surge protector: As the previous work, timely, cost effective and professional. Prepare the electrical service for 2 room addition: As the previous work, timely, cost effective and professional. Finish the breaker wiring, outlets and switches: As the previous work, timely, cost effective and professional. Rob was the shining example of what a contractor should be to a home owner. His professionalism, business etikett and his interaction with us was a refreshing change of what is the norm.
