DUPAGE CARPET CLEANING & RESTORATION

They were very up front and honest about the expectations given that our carpet is rather old and has not received routine cleaning. The job was performed efficiently and turned out rather well.

A great experience, but the lead guy asked me what our agreed upon price was when he was there for the cleaning that day. I seem to recall that he had asked if it was $90. That made me realize that this deal wasn't the best price out there!

Everything turned out fine and they gave great service. They even left behind some bottle cleaner if we ever need to do spot treat the carpet. They were punctual and on time. Two cleaners came out to do the work and it took about 3 hours to complete everything.

The carpet looked better when they left. The only issue we had was with rippling due to the steamer suction and they explained that this was due to the stretching of the carpet and that the carpeting was older.

Carpet came out very nice, team was professional and courteous. Service cost was exactly as described in the Angies List big deal. Team worked especially h****** some tough pet stains we had, with good results.

I would never use them again. They walked in my house with their shoes on to clean my carpet. They waled to a mud and dragged it into the stairs. They were here for about 20 minutes to clean the rug. It was really a quick job and honestly, it didn't seem like my carpet was cleaned. I didn't find them very professional and he called me about a month ago and said, "I'm just letting you know that we're on our way there to clean the carpet", and I said, "what do you mean?," and he said, "we had an appointment and set up a deal through Angie's List", and I said, "no, you cleaned my carpet a couple of months a go".

I purchased one of the coupons for $99.00. I don't remember the name of the 2 folks who came to clean the carpet, but, the main contact was very, very friendly. Last time I had the carpet cleaned (by a different vendor) I was not satisfied so my expectations were not very high. However, not only were they on time, but I was and am thrilled with how the carpet turned out. It was one of those very cold days, around 9 degrees, and they still came. I would definitely use this company again.

Excellent customer service and cleaning of 2 rooms of carpeting was done with high satisfaction. Highly recommend using this company.

They cleaned a large basement and living room. There were some extra charges with the extra work, but it only took them 2 hours to finish the job and they did a fine job.

Overall they get an A. They did hit all the areas, but the quality of the cleaning wasnt as good as I have had from other carpet cleaners. Did not do the corners well in the rooms. They did go above the square footage I paid for and did an additional hallway which was very nice of them to do. They were fast for the amount of carpet they did. And I guess that is the trade off. The price and speed was good, the quality of the cleaning wasnt so good in my experience. If I had paid full price, I may have been more demanding, but I got a good "deal" so I am satisfied overall.

They were very fast, perhaps to fast. Would I use this provider in the future? Maybe.

I had purchased a big deal and needed to add a few additional job (stairs and hall, plus my rooms were larger than deal was for) They were on time, very quick, asked me ahead of time about areas of concern for pre-treatment. Walked through rooms with me when done to insure that the job was done to my satisfaction. Carpets dried faster than estimated time, took about 8-12 hrs. Overall, very pleased with their work.

Our carpet is old so I knew it would be difficult to get it looking clean. They pretreated a few spots and cleaned the carpet. It only took about 40 minutes for them to clean, which seemed a bit quick and there were a few spots on my baseboards where the paint had been scratched off from the equipment. Overall, the carpet did look better and felt cleaner. I was happy with the work, price and the fact that the guys arrived on time and were professional.

Went as planned, no surprises. Showed up on time, as promised. Let me use the Stairs as part of the cleaning area/deal without exclusion or up charge. I really liked that, because it fit perfectly for what I needed cleaned. Will usethem again.

The first try by this company was not very effective. We called and they came a second time, which yielded a slight improvement, but still left us unhappy. During both visits, the foreman (who didn't do much work himself)kept pointing out the new carpet cleaning equipment they were using, and both times mentioned how much it had cost him to purchase.

Slight issue with time delay in arranging appointment. We gave the vendor two available dates with the first service date 11/29 as our preferred date. My wife called to confirm the date (day after Thanksgiving) but was told it might need to be changed. She explained we preferred the first date as we were both off that day. DuPage's scheduler agreed to keep the 11/29 date. The workers arrived about 30 minutes late (we were in touch with the dispatcher) because they had the number of our home address transposed. On arrival, they looked at our carpets, told us the service they would perform, and got to work. The carpets were treated and cleaned within 30 minutes. We had a candle wax stain in one section of the living/dining area. The business owner gave us advice on how to remove the stain. (We were impressed as other professional cleaners didn't give us any such advice.) We tried it after they left and we were able to remove a majority of the stain! DuPage's owner also gave us helpful information about carpet care. We were pleased with the service we received and recommend them.

These guys were great. Punctual, courteous, efficient.... went over stains multiple times, did a great job. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

Unfortunately, when they entered the basement the smell from the cat urine was such that they explained before beginning the cleaning that it was unlikely that they would be able to get rid of the urine smell completely. But I appreciated their honesty and they completed the carpet cleaning in a timely manner.

In the provider response, the company attempts to discredit me, saying I never contacted them. It seemed pretty clear from our correspondence that they were the ones to call and schedule. They asked for my phone number, which I provided, and then they never followed up. I am including the transcript here. They showed up on time. Cleaned the carpet and removed the stains.

When I called to make the appointment, I asked if stairs could be part of the Deal and the person I spoke to said "yes". I also wanted to get an estimate of how much extra they would charge for a couple extra rooms (in addition to the Big Deal square footage) I wanted to have cleaned. When they arrived, I walked the 2 guys through what we wanted cleaned and verified cost. I told them what I had been told on the phone. The lead guy (who I think is the owner) gave me a bit of flack about doing the stairs and was trying to renege on what I was told on the phone. That got me a bit upset at the beginning. The lead guy didn't do much but tell the worker bee what to do (who actually did all the work). The carpeting was pre-treated by randomly spraying a solution all over it. They weren't real careful about where/how they sprayed so it got on woodwork and even on some windows that were low to the ground but it did not seem to cause any damage. In the end, they did all the rooms and areas we wanted for the price that I had been given over the phone. I was hoping a few more stains and dirty areas would have come out better but the lead guy said they had done the best they could and that not all stains come out. | |While they didn't do a bad job, I'm pretty sure I would check Angie's List to see what other companies are out there before I just called these guys again.

The two young men who arrived were punctual and polite. They cleaned the carpeting as was outlined in the stated "deal."

I did not realize that I needed to provide my phone number in order for the provider to schedule a service date. After emailing my number,still nothing. It's been 2 weeks and there has been no communication. I am disappointed and tired of waiting for a response.
