DUPAGE CARPET CLEANING & RESTORATION

I bought the deal of cleaning two area at $89. They contacted with me quickly and set up an appointment. I also wanted the hallway and stairs to clean. They charged me extra $40, then I left for work. When I arrived at home, they already left. I understand the cleaned carpet could not like the new one, however, it seems only a little different from before. Maybe my carpet was quite new and not very dirty. This is the first time I use carpet cleaning for my newly bought house, and I will compare more to make a conclusion. The workers are nice, punctual and did their job, so I still want to give them a "A" review.

The carpeting is thick, so I asked them not to wet it too much.

The technician wouldn't move furniture. He said the price didn't include it, but the ad did not specify that. It was agreed that the money would be refunded, and it has been, so the issue has been resolved. Stanley Steemer was called, and a good job was done the same day (with furniture moving).

When I returned home after they did the work I hired them for I had to clean the chair, front of the chaise and front of the couch I paid to have cleaned, reattach the hose sprayer, put the hose back where it goes, mop the floors because of their failure to wear shoe covers, and apologize profusely to my nanny because she was made to move heavy furniture. Any one issue I could understand but the poor communication initially (failing to ask us to move furniture, which I?ve never had a carpet cleaner ask me to do), asking our elderly nanny to move furniture, failing to put the hose head and hose back where they removed them from, and wearing their shoes in the house without covers, combined with their complete lack of concern about my satisfaction are unacceptable. When I hired DuPage Carpet Cleaning I let them know I would not be home during the service but my nanny would be. The only arrangement we discussed was payment. As it turns out they needed the furniture moved off of the rugs they were to clean. Since I was not home to do this and had no notice this needed to be done they asked my elderly nanny to move furniture for them. They wore their shoes in the house without shoe covers (did not have any with them). They used the garden hose and did not put it back where they found it or reattach the sprayer. The rugs were cleaned well and the upholstery they cleaned was clean where they bothered to clean. But for some reason they failed to clean the fronts of the chaise and couch. The chair was mostly untouched (only the back cushion appeared to be cleaned, not the arms, seat or front). I called about the chair as it was the first issue I noticed, and the owner said he was here and they cleaned it and he suspected the gray color was because of wear on the chair and then started talking about the conditions of the rugs he cleaned. He never asked if I was satisfied or really addressed my concern about the condition of the chair so I got off the phone with him. I inspected the work closely and it was clear they had not cleaned the front of the chair because there was a smudge of easily wipe off-able material. I grabbed a mild cleaner and blotted the chair, the gray color came up immediately (the gray color was not due to wear, just to a failure to bother cleaning it). I cleaned the front of the chaise and couch and blotted with a clean white towel to determine what they had actually cleaned and was appalled. The white towel was dark gray when I was done. I wish Angie's List had a way to attach photos so I could show exactly how poorly done the upholstery work was.

My experience was good. They were timely and they were efficient. They were in and out on the job. They delivered the service to our expectations.

Our carpet looks like new as they were able to remove several stubborn stains. They arrived right on time and worked quickly and quietly. I would definitely recommend them.

It was okay. It wasn't great. The carpet was originally damaged beyond cleaning ability. There wasn't anything they could done better.

Not well. I moved into a new home and the carpets needed attention before moving in. While they were very accommodating on time to perform the services I fear the carpet does not look cleaned. There were heavily soiled areas but they remain heavily soiled. I understand this is a coupon deal and maybe heavily soiled areas cost extra. But, I would have preferred they notify me of that and give me the option while they were there to pay a little extra to get the job done right. Ultimately I had to move in with these soiled carpets and will have to pay someone else to get the job done right. I do not recommend them at all.

I think it would have been great if he was given the opportunity but due to our building managers being rude, we had to cancel our appointment at the last minute and were unable to meet up again. However, I wanted to write a review because he was EXTREMELY helpful, understanding and provided us with great customer service to try to meet our needs. I would totally use them again. They were very professional and are a great value.

Our carpets were 15 years old, but still looked great after the cleaning.

It was good, no complaints at all, showed up on time and did what they had to do.

The service was fine. The carpet was extremely wet and that was the only thing that I did not like. They were professional to work with.

No issues. They showed up as scheduled and cleaned the carpet. The last vendor we used left and the carpet was saturated and took 2 days to dry. With Dupage Carpet cleaning, the carpet was clean and dry that same afternoon. Very pleased with their service.

We were very happy. They came in and did the cleaning and there was no fuss. They cleaned the carpets in our living room, bedroom, a sun room and the office.

It went well. I had them clean the 3 basement bedrooms. It only took about an hour or two to do the job, and they sent out 2 techs.

The work was done well and in an efficient and timely manner. I appreciated their offer to do the small area by my patio doors as part of the Angie's List deal. Provider was friendly.

It was a fine experience. It was for a rental property. Scheduling was fine. Two people came out to complete the job. I had them clean the bedrooms, living room and dining room.

The carpets are clean and fresh. The techs told me if any spots.came back up after carpet dried I should call and they would redo. The family room had a few spots come up and they promptly returned.

Fair price and good professional service. Friendly and on time!

Arrived on time and was done promptly. House smelled 100% better and stairs were amazing.
