Andy is great!!! He is professional, prompt and friendly. If he isn't able to perform a job, he is able to recommend somebody who can. We will be using his services a great deal in the coming years!!

He was local and my husband looked him up in Angie's List and he was rated well. We like him. They are professional. He came and looked at everything we needed to have done before he did the quote. We had the quote at night; he came like 7 o'clock at night and before the next morning, I mean like 10 o'clock at night he sent us the quote so I was very impressed with that.

Andy responded same day to my email and since it was a rush job, he showed up the next day to do the work. He was on time, quick, professional and did a great job for a very reasonable price! I will definitely use him in the future!

Mr. Wehrli did a beautiful job recaulking my windows and patio door. Actually, I can't say enough good things about him. He is definitely a first-class professional, and I will most definitely hire him in the future.

Andy responded promptly to e-mails. Gave me an estimate of cost over the phone (I was able to describe very specifically what needed to be done). He came promptly on the scheduled day. He was fastidious and diligent in his work - very neat. Did a very nice job with the mitered corners of the baseboard trim. Andy was recommended to me by a neighbor and I have recommended him to other neighbors as well. I would use Andy again in the future.

Andy showed up on time, was courteous and knowledgeable and put our mind at ease since we had some water damage and didn't know what we were dealing with in terms of damage. He replaced the smallest area possible to minimize cost, unlike some other contractors that I got estimates from and they wanted to replace the whole ceiling. Highly recommended, I will definitely use him again. He also had really good availability and was able to come out and do the work a lot sooner than some other contractors I contacted.

We own some mixed use rental properties in Oswego, IL. Over the past 2/3 years it has become exceedingly difficult to find reliable tradesmen who are knowledgeable and willing to do smaller jobs and provide a high quality work at a reasonable price. Andy Wehrli is the exception to the rule. Handyman services have a shaky reputations but when I researched providers on Angies list and saw Andy Wehrli Carpentry and Handyman Services' reviews I thought why not! I fired off an e-mail and received a response within an hour. So far so good. I scheduled an appointment at the buildings and Andy was there right on time. He scheduled the work @5pm so not to disrupt the tenant's business. I showed him the work which consisted of replacing and rewiring 4 fluorescent ceiling lights and a through the wall A/C unit. I supplied all the material and was onsite to lend a hand if he needed it. We schedule a date and Andy was right on time. Four hours later he was done. I think what really impressed me with Andy was when he realized he was running late he called his next appointment to inform them. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Andy provided expert recommendations on the process of the job even though we were working without blueprints. His estimates on the time required and the materials required were spot-on. He even worked extremely well alongside the electrician we hired. I have already starting planning my basement project and will be working with Andy to do the framing. He is a great resource for all sorts of home improvement projects and I recommend him highly!

He came out and we told him what we wanted. He said he didn't do those things and he referred us to someone who could. He was really nice. I asked about a door. He told me how to fix it myself, so I didn't have to spend money.

Andy was prompt and professional in his responses, estimate and work. He arrived at the house when he said he would, both when giving the estimate and when performing the work. He discussed the initial job and then the progress with my husband and pointed out the probable cause of some of the damage, making suggestions for getting these areas fixed. He was also very neat in his work and unlike other service people we have hired, he did not leave a mess behind for us to clean up. His estimate was right in line with the actual cost of the job - no surprises.

As stated, Andy responds same day, usually by email in the evening. He sets appointment, sends a reminder night before and arrives on time. He is personable and professional. I had him install new ceiling fans, replace downspouts, build storage shelves, rehang curtain rod that was pulled down by carpet cleaner. He is knowledgeable and helpful in every step.

What contractor in his or her right mind will drive 20 miles to your home on a Sunday to do a job? Andy Wehrli, that's who! Now, I'm not sure if this was just because it worked into his schedule, or if he treats all customers this well, but Andy came to my house on a Sunday afternoon and fixed a door that's been troubling me for some time. He couldn't have been more friendly and knowledgeable, and the work was done to perfection -- he even fixed a sliding door (something I'd thought about at the last minute) before he left. His pricing was quite reasonable, and I'll definitely call him when it's time for the much larger job of remodeling our bathroom. This was really the experience you dream of when blindly contacting a contractor, and I'm so happy that I was able to find Andy through Angie's List!

I needed a carpenter to install baseboard and trim in an octagon-shaped closet that was challenging my do-it-yourself skills. Andy responded quickly to my email inquiry. Within a few days, he stopped by my home to take a first-hand look at the project. His quote was reasonable and given his high ratings here on Angie's List, I decided to hire him to do the project. Because it was a small job, I was willing to wait for him to do the project at his convenience, so we scheduled the project for a few weeks later on a Sunday morning, He arrived right on time and quickly began the project. The completed project looks great! And, Andy taught me a few carpentry tips for my next project (but now that I know Andy, I'm going to think twice about doing any more carpentry projects myself).

Andy is a true professional and a skilled contractor. Andy is very responsive and customer service is a top priority. Andy showed up on time, for the estimate and listened to what we needed done and requested. We had some water damage in our finished basement and we needed to start over with our finished basement. Andy provided ideas and showed us examples of what he could do. Andy is a very busy guy and based on his final and finished product we understand why because it was so great. We had to wait about a month to have to work done but it was worth the wait. Andy showed up the day of work on time and ready to go. Andy took pride in the finished product and it showed. We will have Andy back in the future and he even offered us referalls to other types of contractors we could trust for other projects that needed work. Thanks Andy!

I've been extremely pleased with his work both times. He is punctual, knowledgeable, and performs good quality work. He even has offered suggestions for things I can do to maintain the installs moving forward. Andy has installed track lighting, vanity lights, shelving among other things. It's felt like Christmas morning each time he's completed the job. I'll definitely use him again.

I needed an estimate for some repair on a property I was planning on purchasing on pretty short notice; Andy took time out of a Sunday to go to the site and estimate the repair. He called following the visit and outlined all his findings. He was polite, knowledgeable and provided me with several options - even if it meant not going through with the actual repair with him. I don't plan on completing the work until spring or summer, but I will DEFINITELY be contacting Andy to do that work.
