Description of Work: We have an appt. to get the job done in October/November. I was very pleased |with Andy's knowledge and ideas on how to do this job. It is not going to be |an easy job.

Description of Work: Andy fixed closures for my 2 sets of closet door, did a drywall repair, and fixed 2 fans that were clicking and ran on the same remote so changed one remote so they ran independently of one another. I had asked that he fix the fan that was clicking on the low and medium setting but not on the high setting but because the fan was very high, he suggested that I only use the high setting and did not fix this fan. He was very punctually once a date was set but he is very busy and I did have to wait for a few weeks before he was able to find a spot in his schedule. But once he came he did a great job.

Description of Work: He's very conscious of his customers' cost, and interested in saving them money.

Description of Work: Andy rebuilt our deck. We had an add-on deck to our house that was about 20 years old and had some rot, but since we had just replaced our roof, windows and siding, we did not want to spend a ton of money completely redoing it. We just wanted to fix up the rotten parts and make it look decent. Andy was obviously very experienced in carpentry and was able to advise us on how to update the look of the deck without spending a ton of money. Once he started the job, it became obvious that more rot in the supporting beams was there than originally observed. Andy immediately knew what to do to make the deck structurally sound. He purchased additional support beams, etc. My husband worked with Andy (cleaning up the old rotten wood taken from the deck and cutting and bundling it for disposal) to help keep the time Andy spent on our job the same as had been quoted, so that our final cost on the job was the same as had been originally quoted. The job was finished in the two days quoted at the same cost. We would have him back to do more work in the future. He seems very knowledgeable about carpentry, and he's a very hard worker.

Description of Work: Removed a wire shelf and installed a cabinet in my laundry room. Caulked my kitchen countertop where the counter meets the tile backsplash. Everything went well and should I need anything additional done in my home I would definitely contact Andy Wehrli Carpentry.
