Stanley Steemer

I needed my carpets cleaned before an unexpected family gathering. I only had three days notice. I called Stanley Steemer and they came the following day. They covered their shoes, did a great job on the carpeting, cleaning up several small stains, and put protectors under the furniture legs. My carpet was mostly dry by the following day. The price was reasonable.

The thing that stands out the most is their professionlism. They are on time, very professional and very knowledgeable about what it is that they are doing. I will continue to use this company.

I have no way of comparing them to anybody else. They came and did what they were supposed to do, so I would say they were professional, and did what they should have done.

Price seemed reasonable. I am very happy with them, I have been using them for 30 years. The best thing I like about them is they use fresh water with every job. They hook up to my water.

The two young men were very polite & professional. We had moved most of the tables etc. from the 3 rooms and they only had a couch, table and two large chairs to move. I know that was not necessary but I figured that by doing so that would allow them more time to concentrate on really getting our carpet very clean. We have white carpeting in the master bedroom which was there when we bought the house. I had shampooed it every year but wanted it cleaned professionally since we have a new grandson who just started to crawl. I had to ask them to go over it a second time since it was very noticeable where they missed many spots. You could actually see the clean lines in the carpet next to the dirt they missed. They had already put away the hoses and were not too happy but it did turn out better afterward but still not as good as they could have done. They then said they would be back to square up on the bill. I asked them about the deodorizer treatment and they forgot that I ordered that too ($80 more). They did come back in and complete that but had I not mentioned it ??? They were at our house for less than one hour for 3 rooms. It was obvious they were in a big hurry. Either they were overbooked or because it was a Friday they were in a hurry to finish the day. Not happy and will not use them again!

They have been good. We have been happy with them. I only thing that I did not like about it was that they ran a deal and when the guy came, he said that does not include deodorizing and you really have to have deodorizing. I found that a little offensive. The work they did was good. But the price that they originally quoted was not really the full deal. It is was just part of the cleaning. But the guy said was necessary for the full results. I was happy with the result but not happy with the pricing. The way that they got me to agree to it and it really wasn't that price.

They were really nice to deal with. They were outstanding! They were so good and so professional and I will use them again. They picked them up and delivered them when they said they would. The service men were just lovely. I think they saved my rugs. It was worth it because they did a great job. They were very, very good. I had dealt with them when I had water in my basement. They didn't have to use big blowers and they were about a quarter of the price of another company.

I used Stanley Steemer quite a while ago. The problem with them is they use a wet cleaning. This one I used the last time, their stuff is all dry, they have a very strong vacuum. When they left, my carpet, well you could tell it was damp but it wasn't wet. Stanley Steemer though, it took a couple of days for the carpet to really dry out. I used them a couple of years ago. I seen them advertise for like a hundred a room so I had two rooms done. They did a good job. It's consistent with what everyone else charges. I paid for what I got, a fair price. When I called them they came when they were suppose to.

They were okay; I mean, it is the normal Stanley Steemer. They upsell you for everything. The carpet was not really clean. The hard part is, when you get your carpet cleaned, it looks fine when it is wet, but when it dries that's when you can tell if it is clean or not. When it is wet it is all dark. When it is dry you say, "that ain't clean". It is not as if you can call them back and tell them your carpet is not clean. They were extremely professional. They were very courteous and kept calling me "ma'am". It is what it is. They were very responsive. As far as punctuality they gave me a window and they were dead smack in the center of the window. I have used them and I have used another major carpet cleaning company and they are all about the same, unfortunately.

They quoted me a price of $108 but when they got here they said it would be $313 due to the amount of steps. They cleaned the landing but the carpet was still full of water. They came back and redid the carpets but they still are wet and smell sour. The manger offered to refund $69 for the landing but I just want the carpet to be dry and not smell sour.

Overall, it was very good. Everything about it was very good. They came when they were scheduled. It was a fair price. They did a good job cleaning the carpets.

They do a really good job, however, I feel like their prices are a little pricier than some of the others. They're always very professional and I would recommend their services to others.

They were a total rip off. They did two rooms and my hallway. It smelled good for a couple of days and then it was bad. I would not use them again. They tried to do my brand new furniture and I told them no. My husband re-did the hallway. They called me when they were on their way and they were on time. I told them what I wanted and I knew that it was going to cost more than $99. The foyer turned out nice when they were done. They kept trying to sell me more.

He did a nice job. They called me five minutes before they got there. They tell you what they're going to do. I don't have anything to complain about.

Stanley Steemer did pretty good. When they left, the water that they sucked out, they had an overflowing and that stuff was spilling out onto my driveway and they didn't clean it after they spilled all their residue and everything and it snowed very bad. There was a bad residue on my driveway and I had to go and get a power washer to wash it off my driveway.

Cleaned all wall to wall carpeting on first floor. Removed some pretty bad stains.

It was the last appointment of the day - they guys who came just didn't care; they wanted to go home. I have used Stanley Steemers in the past and they always did a good job but this time I felt like I got average service at best.

They came in and cleaned a large sectional couch and put some fabric protector on it. They were very good, very professional, very knowledgeable and very informative about what person was coming out. I was very pleased.

They came in and did what I asked them to do. I asked them to do 3 rooms and they did. They look great and they smell better. Nothing really stood out, they did what I expected. They did a good job.

They were pretty good, I would use them again.

Arrived 25 minutes late without a phone call. This is the only professional part about this company. Everything is a sales pitch for additional services. We are selling a small house and simply needed the main carpet pathways steam cleaned. The Stanley Steamer team insisted on cleaning all carpets in the entire house indicating that it would make a tremendous difference. It did not. The pathways were not even cleaner after the team left and the carpet dried. The team also made a big deal about the front entry tile grout being dirty and making a poor impression. We want to sell the house so we went ahead and cleaned the tile... nothing changed... the team then moved forward with adding a topical solution to re-color the grout without fully explaining the extremely high additional cost. The finished product looked streaky and unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

They gave us an estimate over the phone and called ahead when they were on their way. Two service techs came and checked the size of our rooms, and they gave us a special price to apply a treatment to our carpets after they are cleaned them to keep them nice even longer. They worked very steadily and if there were any problem areas they mentioned them to us, but they were able to get the carpet cleaned very well. They also cleaned up after themselves, so it was a very pleasant experience we had with Stanley Steemer. We will use them again in the future.

I wasn't impressed. They seemed to be quick with their work. They weren't too careful about the hose coming into the house and banging the walls. I told them that the walls were freshly painted and to be careful. One guy did most of the work. When I asked them to concentrate on a specific spot, they said that was as good as it would get. I probably would not use them again for carpet cleaning, but I might give them a shot to clean furniture.

Requested tile/grout cleaning of my kitchen. I am aware of a few cracked tiles and missing grout, but wanted my floor cleaned before I repaired those areas. Nothing on Stanley Steemer's website mentions that I must have no cracked tiles or pristine grout. (frankly I don't know of anyone that would). Explaining to them that I knew the risks, they still refused service. Spoke with Richard from the office and Alex the technician who came to my house.

The crew arrive at the correbt time. They setup in a professional manner, they made sure nothing was damaged and they completed the job to my satisfaction. The cost was nominal and I will use them in the future.
