Description of Work: I have a two story living space with large west facing windows at the top of the room. Excel came out and provided an estimate. They came when scheduled and came on time. The owner was there to ensure everything was done correctly and provided me with the guarantee. Everyone was very professional, focused on doing the job and cleaned up after themselves. The temperature in the room on sunny afternoons has dropped significantly. I highly recommend Excel and will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: They covered our glass storm doors that face west and heated the temperature of the entry hall that had become unbearable in the summer. They did a fantastic job which cooled our entry hall br 15 degrees. Would do it again in a minute.

 + -1 moreIt was great. When my wife called, Mike, the owner was very responsive. Mike came out, measured and gave us an estimate. He was very patient with my questions and comparisons with competitive products. Excel really knows this business and does work at residential and in commercial buildings. We decided to move forward and he was able to come back out in a couple of days and complete the work. So far so good. It looks great and I am glad I went with Excel.

 + -1 moreWe are very pleased with the result. Our new dining room rug will be safe from extreme sun exposure, and we can enjoy the two rooms without blinding glare in the late afternoon. The color is barely noticeable and there is no sense that the rooms are darker now that winter has arrived. Glad we called Mike!
Description of Work: We hired Excel to tint two bays of windows that face West to decrease UV exposure and excessive light and glare. Mike came by promptly, explained how tinting works, showed us several examples of different materials and left large samples for us to put on the window so that we could see how the different colors would look throughout day and night. We chose the material, and Mike was out a couple of days later to install it. Installation was fast, and very professional.

 + -1 moreGreat! Mike and an assistant cleaned the window (even the outside!!), applied the large sheet of film without a bubble or scratch. Although it darkens the window a tiny bit, compared to windows without the film, you cannot really tell it is there. I am thrilled to have the protection from UV rays and the film treatment was so much less expensive than a window shade or blind.

 + -1 moreEverything went well. I set up an appointment for an estimate. There were many choices of film to pick from. I went with Mike's advice. Mike gave me an estimate that day. The following week he applied the film to the windows. I have noticed a considerable decrease in heat entering the windows.

 + -1 moreMike measured the windows and doors when he provided me with an estimate. He arrived on time for both the estimate and installation appointments. The window tint material was precut for each window and door so the installation went quickly and smoothly. He cleaned up as he went from room to room. It has been two weeks since the installation. There are no bubbles or imperfections in either the material or the installation. I am very pleased with the results.

I chose to go ahead with the job and he set the time to get it done. He arrived on time, was professional, and quick. The windows look great. He cleaned up any mess before he left. I couldn't have asked for this to go any better. I would highly recommend this company in the future!

 + -1 moreMike and his helper came out and finished the job in about 2 hours. They were the most polite, professional and knowledgeable business that I have ever dealt with. The windows were cleaned exceptionally and the new look is fantastic. All of our expectations were met. They cleaned up and even helped to move any furniture back. I highly recommended them for any window tinting and I will be giving them a call for my future tints.
Description of Work: I have 7 windows in a sun room with western exposure and a lake so I receive double the amount of normal sun. I worked with Mike and after seeing some mini samples of the various tinting I selected one of the better types due to the amount of sun and the view that I didn't want disturbed.

The window looks 100% better and the frosting application is flawless. They were personable and very friendly. I would highly recommend using Excel, and will certainly use them again myself.
Description of Work: Michael and Matt frosted our street-facing large windows and glass doors. We had only the bottom half of the windows frosted so we could still see out of the top half.
