Description of Work: I was given an estimate and design plan as promised. I was more than pleased with the suggestions and comments given but have decided to hold off on the updating at this time. I think their estimate was reasonable and design was good as well. I'm just going to table the project to later in the year.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal for kitchen plans. Dirk got in touch right away to schedule the consultation. They were prompt in coming out to give me an estimate and I received their proposed plans in less than a week. Since we were looking to do a lot of the labor ourselves, it wasn't the best fit for us to use them for our kitchen remodel. I did, however, appreciate the overall advice and professional suggestions provided during the consultation visit. The plans work for a first draft, though I will likely change a lot of it as the project evolves.

Description of Work: They came in to give us a layout design of the kitchen , we will re model in the summer. We had ideas of what we wanted, he showed us another way. Great ideas. We may use them when we start the project.

Description of Work: Dirk came out and did a consult on the design of a new kitchen. He provided drawings and original ideas, which was refreshing. Dirk arrived on time, was very professional, and came up with a solid design. The only reason we weren't able to work with Dirk was because our schedules just didn't seem to line up. Would highly recommend his services to anyone looking into a remodel

Description of Work: My condo kitchen flooded at the end of July 2014, when hundreds of gallons of black drain water was pumped up into my sink from my high rise main drain. My insurance company sent a demo crew out the next week, but was stalling and delaying in getting money to me. Also, my association was dodging responsibility and I was stuck. I called several contractors who came out and said they would get me an estimate, then never called back and wouldn't return my calls. | |I found Budget Right Kitchens on Angie's List and sent an email to them through the website. Dirk Hoerr called me back almost immediately and came out the next day. He said his team could take this on and got a quote back to me the next day. He and his project manager, Dan Ahmer, lit a fire under my difficult insurance adjusters (I had 4 before it was all done, plus their department manager) and my condo building manager. | |Once the cabinets were ordered and delivered (a 4-week process) Dan and his crew came out and installed a new kitchen for me. They fixed things that had bothered me about the previous kitchen: spacing on the wall oven, putting a shorter cabinet over the sink, replacing fluorescent under mount lights for LED pucks. I accidentally ordered a cabinet that was too tall for a lower peninsula cabinet and Dan said "Let's just raise it to counter height. It should be that high anyway." He then coordinated with my granite installers to retrofit my existing granite counter tops to seamlessly connect to the adjacent counter. It was a great solution and one of the things I really love about the new kitchen. At every step of the way, they always took my calls, always kept me informed of what was happening, and always let me know when they would be in the condo and what they had planned to do that day. | |I cannot say just how much I appreciate Dan, Dirk, and their entire team. My condo is open concept, 1000 square feet, so the flood really destroyed half of my home, and because I was self-employed and worked from home, it disrupted every aspect of my life. Add to this a very good friend was killed in a car accident just 2 days before the flood, so all of this combined really piled on to make this situation beyond stressful. | |Budget Right Kitchens did more than just put my kitchen back together; in many ways, they put me back on my feet. They came in at one of the worst moments of my life, took control, and took a huge burden off my shoulders. The first day I walked in and saw all the cabinets up, I did a little dance in the kitchen with my dogs. The construction work they did is very well done, but they took care of me, too, and that isn't something I expected. | |I highly recommend Budget Right Kitchens and will use them for any construction projects I plan to do in the future.

Description of Work: They completely gutted and redid my kitchen. They've done fences, general house repairs and lighting for me.

Description of Work: Budget Right Kitchens removed old ceramic tile from bathroom floor and installed new floor with new marble tile. They also removed existing bathroom vanity/cabinet and installed new vanity/cabinet and new sink and faucet.
