Carlos was right on time and was very nice and supportive of the whole process.

We hired another company who really didn't kill them or completely understand what they were doing. I looked at other companies as we we were so out of our minds at that point that I looked at reviews of other companies and found Chicago Bed Bug Experts. The reviews and the information on their website really spoke to me and it was obvious that they knew what they were doing. They were great. Professional, reassuring. And they have a great process and warranty that others do not have. Hire them.

They were very punctual, and professional. It was not cheap, but it worked. They even came back a second time since we were concerned, all was well it turned out. They know their business. These are the people to go to if you think there is an issue with bedbugs.

I discovered several bedbugs in my daughter's room and a couple of in mine. I called the company and spoke with Jim. After several questions he sent out one of his employees a few days later. He came on time and was friendly and optimistic . We showed him the rooms of concern and showed him some of the bugs we caught. He checked and found signs. He proceeded to cover mattresses (not included in price which I thought was) with covers, hot steamed the wood on the bed frame, I think he used the freezing stuff, put bug interceptors on the legs of the beds and then sprayed. After spraying you need to leave the house for a couple of hours. He was there about 1 to 2 hours. No nonsense. We needed 3 treatments due to the high level of infestation. The next two visits were checking for signs and then spraying with a different level of chemical strength. It took a while before we did not see any more but it worked right away. We did find one in our other daughter's room a couple of weeks after the last spray but that was it. It has been over 6 months and we have not had one sign of the terrible critters. A rating but I gave a B for quality only because our dresser had a gouge from something after a treatment. It was not there before they came. I did not say anything because our furniture is very worn out and it would have been hard to prove. There was a spray mark on another bedroom piece. So if you use them take stock of your furniture. I am just happy to have the bugs GONE! I liked that they were very matter of fact that the problem could be solved. It is very daunting and exhausting to have this problem.It meant a lot to know it could be solved. They were VERY discreet so no one in the neighborhood knew. They were prompt and efficient. They answered all our questions. I did have to call for the second treatment to be scheduled. They were supposed to contact me. I think it was an oversite. They came out with the next couple of days.

Chicago is the #1 city in the country for bedbug infestations. My daughter stayed briefly in an apartment in Chicago over the summer where an infestation occurred. Unfortunately she brought them back with her when she returned home. I had absolutely no experience with this problem and was in a panic as to how to resolve it. After doing a lot of online research, I called Ecotech because their approach to the problem was more than just spraying insecticides. They bag things that need to be laundered, give instructions on how that should be done. They steam/freeze/dust/spray affected areas. They are very professional and thorough. I live outside the area they normally service, but they agreed to come anyway. I was so grateful for that because I really needed some help. We are now bedbug free and much more aware of precautions that should be taken in the future. I highly recommend them.

I developed a number of itchy bumps on my arms and face. I jumped to the conclusion that they were bedbug bites because I had just read about bedbugs and bedbug-detection dogs and stayed in hotels twice during the previous few weeks. Even though I didn't see any bedbugs, I freaked out and called Chicago Bedbug Experts. The person in the office who makes appointments was wonderful and told me what to do before the technicians came out, which was to remove all clutter from the bedrooms. A couple of days later, Dan and Nick came out to my house at the appointed time in their discreetly marked van. Nick looked at my bumps and said they probably were not bedbug bites even though they were similar to photos on web sites. They did a very thorough inspection and concluded that I did not have bedbugs. The inspection alone was $75 and well worth it! They said that was all that was needed but I insisted on buying encasements for the mattresses and Climb-Up Insect Interceptors. Once you start reading about bedbugs, it's easy to get freaked out and want to prevent an infestation. That was all my own doing; Nick and Dan did not try to upsell me on the encasements or traps. Nick and Dan were extremely professional. I was so relieved that I did not have bedbugs because getting rid of them requires use of pesticides, to which I would rather not be exposed. I did see a dermatologist and the itchy bumps turned to be contact dermatitis probably from a shrub that I cut down a week or so earlier.

We had bedbugs! Yikes! I used the three-time service, and the bedbugs are gone. It was an enormous hassle, but this company did their part, professionally and effectively.

first service performed was answering my phone call around 10:00am sunday morning. it was 3:oo in the morning when my son screamed in his bedroom, having seen a bedbug run across his bed.my husband unwittingly took the sheets in his hand and went downstairs to the laundry, where upon inspection after the cycle many adult bedbugs lie.Now i think drop...drop... those adult bedbugs dropping onto the carpet as he moved from room to room.i was working the next day and could not totally process this new plague.My sister lives in n.y.city and had experience with this problem. i called her and she helped me find numbers in chicago.the first place i called seemed condescending and much more expensive ,close to 1000.00 without bed covers. Jims price was 740.00 with 3 bedcovers .When jim came with his partner they put the mattress covers on the beds , were very polite, and continued to be available any day of the week, always calling back, and never making me feel uneasy. He has a pleasant smile and a calm knowledgeable approach to eliminating this scourge.Bedbugs are a horrible ordeal to live thru, and this company made me feel like they truly cared about what the people (ie)me were going thru.He always showed up on time as well,This I hear is a problem with some companies.if you have bedbugs i do recommend the bed bug experts to solve this problem. they solved our problem!
