Description of Work: Average to below average cleaning. Quality of services varied quite a bit based on the particular cleaner the service sent. Had some problems communicating with main office and messages left on voice mail were often not returned for several days.

Description of Work: Hired them back in April for regular house cleaning. They do a fantastic job and are very flexible if I need to change the date. Price is very reasonable, $75 for approximately 1300 square foot townhouse. Very trust-worthy. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Man and woman arrived on time. This was the first time at my home. Neither spoke any English, so I couldn't tell them what to clean and what I didn't want them to clean. They called their Supv, who said the people were fully trained on cleaning. I explained there are items in my home I didn't want them to touch and had no way to communicate this. He came to my house and oversaw them for a period of time. The master bath mirror, vanity top had to be re-done 3 times and the supv saw this. A fan cleaning tool was being used to dust the crown moldings. (I gave the girl my lamb's wool extension tool). A wet sponge mop had been left (wet mop down) on my hard wood floors for several hours. I had just paid to have hard wood floors put in our home The powder room on the first floor was not cleaned at all. Items in a small curio in the master were dusted, but most of the statues were knocked over and were never righted. Thankfully none broke. I use special cleaners on my granite and porcelain floors, but couldn't easily communicate to use these. While they say they use only green cleaners, the supervisor said they used Comet mixed in with water to clean, and this was a commercial cleaner. I sent in a survey noting the shortcomings, but didn't hear back. The supv blamed the lady who took the order for sending non English speaking people. The lady taking the order was more interested in telling me I'd pay more if over a certain time. I also didn't like having to give my full credit card number (including the security code off the back) to this service, and when I asked for the name of the person I was giving it to, she said she could not give out her last name.

Description of Work: I had to replace my cleaning service after 15 years, so ignoring the many brochures I get in the mail and in my doorway, I went to Angie's List and after reading many of the reports, Euromaids seemed to fulfill all of my requirements. I e-mailed them and got a ball park quote over the internet after answering a few general questions. Since the quote was in my price range, I called them and made an appointment to get a real quote. Barbara came out the next day and I walked her through my home and her estimate came out to be $18.00 less than the ball park quote. I set up an appointment for them to clean my house that very day. I was told there would be a 2-person team, that it would take 2 hours and that if I wanted to keep the same "crew", I should let them know. I scheduled them for Tuesday morning the following week. Valentine and her husband (I am sorry, but I didn't get his name except that it sounded an awful like my name, which is Judy) arrived about 10 minutes later than scheduled (we have a lot of road construction going on right now). They came in with all their own cleaning equipment, including their own vacuum cleaner, and went right to work.

Description of Work: This was the initial cleaning and they did a fantastic job. My townhouse has never been so clean. I would highly recommend them. She cleaned everything from the basics (floor, counters, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc) to scrubbing my fridge, tops of cupboards, blinds, washer and dryer etc.
