Two people came for the service and took a couple hours.

On August 1, 2016 Euro Maids cleaned our house. Upon walking into our basement (on August 1, 2016) we discovered a bleach stain on the carpet. The carpet was still wet and smelled like bleach. Immediately we contacted Euro Maids and they requested that I email a picture of the stain. After receiving the picture, a representative from Euro Maids contacted me and said that they would be sending someone out to inspect the damage the same day (August 1, 2016). Shortly thereafter a representative came by the house to see the damage. They apologized and said that someone would be reaching out to me the next day. Nobody contacted me, so I called them. I spoke to a lady who I believe is the owner. She apologized and told me that she would like to send someone out to see what they can do to fix the carpet. She also assured me that the carpet would be fixed to my satisfaction. She offered to send someone to "Cut a piece" of carpet from somewhere else the carpet is installed - I informed her that this would not work because there is no place to cut a piece of carpet as there are no closets anywhere in our basement that has carpet in it. She then offered to "Color" the carpet - to try and match the bleach stain with the carpet color. I told her that was also unacceptable. At this point I requested her insurance information. She told me that she did not want to go through her insurance because her rates would go up to much. She told me that she was going to replace the carpet out of her own pocket and sent someone out to the house to measure the carpet. I told her that I would still like her insurance information as the carpet cost would be way to much for her cover out of pocket - I estimated that the carpet would cost between $5,000 and $9,000. She said while it was a lot of money she would pay it out of pocket. I told her I didn't care who paid as long as my carpet was like it was before they spilled bleach on it. A gentlemen, came out to the house and measured the carpet. The following day I got a call from owner of Euro Maids stating that the cost was going to be too much and that she was now going to go through her insurance. I've now been dealing with EuroMaids insurance company for over a month now. They only want to pay me a small fraction of what it is going to cost to replace the carpet. At this point to looks like I will need to file lawsuit against them to settle this. Please consider this review when choosing a maid service. Very disappointed.

I had been using Euro-Maids for approximately seven months. I was always happy with the work provided. However, I have a serious issue with the company and the cleaning people that have been sent to my home. I addressed the issue with the company regarding my concerns and did not receive any type of resolution. There was a considerable amount of money missing from my son's bedroom and I requested that the company address the issue. I do not have other people in my home besides my children and myself. Additionally, my son is not old enough to go to the store and spend his money without supervision (he is only six). When I spoke with a representative for the company, I was told that they would not do anything unless I file a police report and it is not possible that their employees would do something like this because they go through background screening. I did not even receive an apology for the issue. I do understand that company's do not want to accept blame or say that their employees are wrong; however, there was not even any type of flexibility or acknowledgement of my concerns. Because of these reasons I would never recommend this company and they will no longer receive the guaranteed business that I provided twice a month.

I've been using them for more than one year. They're professional, on time and you are secure. All maids are checked. Their pricing is the best. I compared them with other service in the area. They're cheaper two or three times than other services. They are registered secure and this means a lot. They're the best.

It was before I even got to find Angie's List. It's very good.

Have used many times in the past. Always responsive, and friendly. Fast, efficient and most importantly, do a great job.

Our team, composed of Ivan and Sarai, consistently do an excellent job for us. We've found Euro Maids will accommodate our needs if we have to change our regular date or time, or if our regular date falls on a holiday. We receive a call in the week prior to our regularly scheduled appointment to confirm the time that they will arrive, and they are always on time. There is nothing negative to say about Euro Maids or Ivan and Sarai - I can recommend them highly.

I have used them on and off for several years. The problem to me is inconsistency of who comes. Some are good and thorough; some not. With the last couple of employees, we found him in our master bedroom, laying on our couch feet up while his partner scrubbed away downstairs. He did a lousy job in the bathroom and told us right off the bat he had been in construction. I have been trying awhile to find employees who are good that we can have consistently on a monthly basis, but they can't promise we can have the same people. They are fairly flexible with scheduling as I try to do it the same day/month so I can work from home that day. Are good with pets consistently.

I called Euromaids for a deep clean of my house prior to moving in. They were very responsive as I called them for same day service. Two cleaners came promptly to my home and proceeded to do a very good, thorough job. They were polite and worked very hard. I was very happy with the work performed and their professionalism. I would recommend them and will use again.

The price included the tip. It is a thorough cleaning that includes dusting and thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and baths and showers and toilets. They vacuum and dust everywhere and get rid of spider webs and things in the corners of the ceilings. They were here for about 2 1/2 hours. Each time it is usually a different set of people. The office coordinators are very friendly. Margaret and Barbara are very professional and very accommodating. Their teams always show up on time. I've had several different sets of people come and there was one that I would probably give a B- but the others I would give A's. They do window cleaning but it is a separate thing.

I have been using this service for about 3 months now having service done every two weeks and I have been using the same crew of cleaners which was a great mother/daughter team. They really paid attention to detail and did little extra finesse work before they left. I did have one other group come after them when I first started the service, but even though they did okay I preferred the first group and they became the main group coming every two weeks. It was always a treat when they came and they knew my place and how things needed to be done even though I didn't request it. The last time I used them was on November 7th before going on vacation and when I came back I called Euro Maids and told them that my next cleaning I didn't need because I would not be in town and could they come the following week. They mentioned that in order to keep the same team I would have to wait until Dec 4th. I agreed that this would be okay. Now normally Euromaids calls the week before letting me know what time I can expect the cleaners on my assigned day. On Monday Dec 3rd I noticed that they hadn't called so I called them and inquired when would my team be coming. The lady that answered the phone said that she would call me back. By the way her tone sounded it seemed as if I had fallen off the grid and they had forgot about my cleaning. I finally got a call late Monday afternoon telling me that the two people that normally clean my place were no longer with Euro maids and that a new group would be coming at 2:15pm on Tuesday. I think they put together a last minute team since I think they screwed up in scheduling. I didn't want to pass judgement on this new group however the previous people that I had I felt set the bar high for any future cleaners. For example if I had dishes in the sink they would clean them getting all food out of them and placing them in the dishwasher. If I laid towels in various rooms they would make sure they were hanging up on a bar or rack, and one special thing that they paid attention to was in my office they would always empty the shredder, and lastly no matter how many bags of trash I had they would always take them out to the large trash containers at least 75 ft away from my building as I live in an apartment. The group that came on Tuesday Dec 4th was a man and a woman, and I asked them did they need anything from me and they responded no so I figured they knew what they were supposed to do. Now even though they did an adequate job, there are some things that just kind of didn't set well with me. First the towels that I purposely set out for them to hang, they never did and left them right where they were. They did not empty my shredder and they did not clean all the dishes but they were just piled in the sink after they cleaned the sink without putting it the dishwasher. They also left the trash bag in the kitchen I guess for me to take out. One last thing that got me to write this was that I had a large jug of honey sitting on the counter and I went over by the jug of honey to see it it was sticky around it. I noticed that it seemed that whoever did the kitchen counter didn't take the time to wipe the area around the honey or even wipe off the honey jug to make sure it was clean and didn't stick to the counter. It would not have taken much time as I ended up having to do it myself. The problem that I see with Euromaids is unfortunately the inconsistency in the work ethic of some teams and attention to detail which I a a detailed person and thinks that really makes the difference. I really do miss the two ladies that cleaned before and I hope one day I can somehow get them back wherever they went. Unfortunately I will be shopping again for a cleaning service.

I am ready to fire them. They haven’t been the least bit flexible when I needed extra service. At first they said they could and then they said, “No, we can’t.” They left me high and dry with a carpet cleaning and I have tenants moving in on Saturday; on Monday they told me their equipment broke and they wouldn’t be able to do it. They couldn’t tell me when it was going to be fixed. Some of their people are just fabulous and some are just slugs. They don’t handle comments very well. I think they’ve written me off already. They really let me down on an apartment cleaning. Four guys moved in and they were horrified that the cleaning hadn’t been done. It is awful to get off on the wrong foot with new tenants. It has been very disappointing. You’d think they would try extra hard for me now but no. They have some wonderful crews and they have some that are worse than me and I am a terrible cleaner. That’s why I have them. I have been a customer for three years. I pay them $86 for my 3000 square foot house every other week. They bring all their own stuff so I think that’s a fair price. I save a lot of money because I used to have a housekeeper but I had to buy all the products and I paid her a lot more. She did laundry and they don’t do laundry. I find that it’s working out so much better to have a service. They clean two lobbies of buildings I take care of for $75. The rates are very good but they are very distant from what’s happening. They are in the western suburbs and they send people out. In the beginning I had no complaints; I was absolutely thrilled. Then I got one bad crew but they replaced them. Then I was good for a while but lately I’ve had three or four bad ones in a row. The punctuality was never good because I am at the end of the day. They were supposed to be here at 1:30 and I think they were here at 1:30 only two or three times. I have to hang around and they’re usually not done. The last crew is slower. They are sweet but it was 5:30 when they left. They were an hour late getting here. They are dedicated and they don’t leave until they consider the job is done. Some of them are just so good; I don’t know why I can’t have those people back. When I request to have them again I’m told they don’t work there anymore. I don’t know if that’s true or not. I am going to be interviewing other companies. I really need someone I can rely on.

Wow! I wish I had done this sooner - house looks and smells fantastic. Crew of two was on time, got right to work, and worked hard the entire time (6.5 hours) they were here. Supervisor came by too. (I’m sorry – I didn’t get anyone’s name). Will definitely use them for regular cleaning service.

Sometimes they do a great job and sometimes they do not do such a great job. We see different people and some of them are good and some are not so good.

I've been a customer of Euromaids' house cleaning services for more than two years and have written a review on here based on my extreme satisfaction of their deep cleaning and regular house cleaning services. My regular crew left a flyer earlier in the year advertising Euro-Maid's new steam cleaning services. Our family room carpet looked pretty gross after my baby started walking and carrying messes with her. Our carpets were cleaned before by another local business ranked very high on Angie's List, which did a pretty good job, but I decided to try Euromaids since I have been satisfied with their house cleaning services. I left them a key and instructions and came home to a thoroughly cleaned carpet. There was an ink stain that the previous homeowner had left that the prior steam cleaning service couldn't get out at all. Euromaids somehow got at least 80 percent of it out, so instead of looking like a black ink stain, it looked very faintly grey--a lot more acceptable. There was a water stain on our basement carpet from an Air Conditioning mishap last year that the other cleaner wasn't able to get out...Again, with Euromaids, it looks more tolerable. As for the more every-day stains and wear, those all disappeared and I felt like I had new carpet again. I would definitely use this service again and have referred friends to both their housecleaning and steam cleaning services.

It has been a pleasure working with Euro Maids and my housecleaning team. If I have any preferences as to how I want something done, all I have to do is contact the home office or leave a message in my home when my team is coming to clean. They are very responsive to all my requests. My only problem is that my team usually leaves things just a little bit different than when they arrived. I know that this is intentional so I know they have actually moved and cleaned things, but i do hate to have to adjust everything when I return. I did leave a message to this effect for my team, and they now leave everything pretty much the way they found it when they arrived. On two separate occasions, I have been out of town on business and have contacted Euro Maids and requested that they clean my windows, inside and outside, and clean my carpets while I am gone. They have a key to my house because I am gone when they do the regular bi-weekly cleaning. They of course have to work around my furniture to do both jobs but have done an excellent job - moving small pieces of furniture to accommodate the cleaning. I have been very satisfied with the work that they have done. I have been using their service for about two years and am thoroughly satisfied. I love coming home from work to find my house clean and sparkling after working all day. I would recommend them highly.

we had 3 or 4 cleanings, and less time was spent at each visit. the floors were never cleaned properly, you always felt dirt under your feet. dry houseplants were left without water. cobwebs left in doorways.. zippity dooo, in and out. no attention to detail whatsoever. on the upside, the baseboards, showers, sinks and toilets were clean.

They do a good job. In the beginning they would spray a freshner on the rugs and furniture. But I noticed one of my cats would sneeze more, so I had them stop doing that. I come home to a clean house.

We had someone from Euromaids come out to our house for an estimate, she was snotty and had an attitude -- given the initial interaction with the company representative, we would never hire them.

Everything is fine. The price depends every time and it varies between $60 and $70. Everything that they’ve done so far for us has been fine. We liked everything about them. My wife is very picky and so everything is fine about them. They work hard and they are quick. We will use their services again in the future.

I prefer not to disclose the amount that I spent. They’re good. They’re clean and fast. They just do a good job. They are always here at the same time, that’s every three weeks. They’re always on time. We are currently using them and we will use their services again in the future.

Euro-Maids has been cleaning my house for a year now. I started with a $325 deep cleaning and then went to a cleaning every other week.

They were a little late due to the prior job. They went to work immediately: 1 person specifically for the kitchen and 1 person for both bathrooms. They attended to minor details without being asked and they were quite efficient.
