Usually, fairly well.  It's usually a bit tough to find someone to set things up at this particular store, but once it's set up it does tend to go well.  I do believe they use very quality service providers - we have had excellent experiences with everyone they've sent to our house.  
On more than one occasion we have had to wait a while to set up an appointment for the service.  So if you're in a time crunch, it might not be best to go through them.  As a home owner though, it is a good idea to get the credit card and that way you have it for emergencies.  We just had to put in a new unexpected furnace (we're selling) so it's nice to fall back on the 0% interest for two years if we really needed to ( I mean, we'll pay it off next month, but for emergencies... you get the idea.)

Sales rep came out, measured window openings and estimate was provided. I Signed a contract for 5 windows and installation and paid down payment. Official measurer came out to take the final measurements and said the windows ordered would not fit the openings. Sales rep had field supervisor come out to double check. He pried off some window casing to get the measurement and confirmed that the windows would not fit and that there were no other windows available in the model class that would fit. Apparently the book the sales person uses did not match the book the factory uses to size windows. Home depot gave me 2 options, go with the more expensive windows or cancel the contract. I went with cancel the contract. Waste of my time and the casing that was pried off for measuring was not put back flush. On the plus side, the sales rep was professional and courteous. I think it was an honest mistake but I expect better. Just think home depot window service needs to mature a bit.

The service was great!  The workers were clean and kind.  The experience was awesome!  They did the work fast and on-time as promised.
