Excellent overall experience. Paul showed up promptly as scheduled and we walked through what I needed done. The installation was done quickly and cleanly. There was no need to schedule someone to repair the drywall after the power receptacle installation because of Paul's installation job. Would definitely use again for any future electrical needs.

Very professional. Although bathroom was semi refinished, due to all the problems we had had with the company who had done the basement, we decided not to let the remodelers install the toilet and pedestal sink. Good call as it turned out to be more complex and I shudder to think what the original remodelers would have hacked in order to do it. The sink drain pipe had been torn off during demo and one of the two the two bolts on the floor for securing the toilet had also been sheared off. Paul told me that it would take more time then the big deal we purchased and also let me know about the extra charges for materials due to the situation. He was able to get the pedestal sink with faucet properly installed on the first visit. Then he called to let me know he had purchased the parts for the toilet install a few days later, came to our house at the appointed time and finished the toilet install. He invoiced me promptly via email and I was able to pay the extras via credit card. Both fixtures work well. Although it ended up costing about twice what we paid for the big deal, in the end we got a quality job from a very professional and knowledgeable plumber.

We saw the reviews on MPT and were excited to have Paul out to our home to offer us a proposal to remodel our upstairs bathroom. We wanted them to take out a closet in the bathroom, move the sink over and plumb it for a double sink, install two wall mounted faucets and two lights, take out the existing swing door, install a pocket door, install an exhaust fan, and move electric for switches, lights, and outlets. Paul made it to our home in just a few days after we made contact with him. My wife and daughter were at the house and I was on the phone as they walked through the project. Paul offered a number of suggestions. He took notes and asked questions. She seemed very knowledgeable. We received an itemized cost list for the entire project. Paul's offer was comparable with another firm with whom we choose to work. That firm offered amazing high quality cabinets and counters at a cost that we did not find anywhere else. Because Paul does not provide cabinets and counters, it was going to be more difficult to arrange delivery and installation of cabinets and counters if we went with MPT.

Everything went well. He was here as long as estimated. Everything worked great and he cleaned up after himself before he left.

Very painless process. Checked in with us at every step to make sure we were getting what we wanted and checked to make sure the work was good. Cleaned up after very well, much appreciated!

Old world craftsmanshp is a word that comes to mind regarding his work and that of his crew. Paul was completely professional and responsive to every question and detail. He was extremely careful to cleanup everyday and the crew always took off their shoes when walking through the house. Never had to be asked.. This job involved gutting a master bath including the removal of a sunken tub and existing shower. He installed marble floors and walls that had an intricate pattern and required extensive cutting. Also installed new cabinets and vanity. The end result was nothing short of amazing and exceeded out expectations. This also included installation of a new toilet which was done correctly and we never had a problem (see other review). He was extremely cooperative and conformed to our schedule. His crew was equally skilled and considerate. Paul referred me to some outside contractors (ex: shower door cos,) whose bids were less than other big box contractors and worked perfectly. It is really nice in this day and age to have a construction experience exceed wxpectations! Great work Paul!

I send the email and ask them to give me estimate for installing recess lights, on June 16 and Paul responded on June 19 and said he will call me. Today June 24 th and he still hasn't called and never followed up. Wouldn't do a business with them anymore.

The provider did an excellent job. What seemed to me to be a straightforward fix was anything but straightforward. Instead of just needing a new valve replacement kit, we needed to stop a leak that was occurring at the bottom of the tank and causing the water to leak out of the tank and then refill - even when the toilet was not being used. The provider was tenacious in addressing the problem and properly diagnosed and solved the problem. It was a pleasure to work with the provider, who was both very skilled, professional and punctual. I would highly recommend him to anyone addressing a plumbing project in their home.

Paul did an excellent job. He and his team arrived on time, every single day of the two week project. The work was done in a professional manner and his team was willing to answer questions/did not mind me looking over their shoulders. Throughout the process he was straight forward and honest - for example, there were some concerns regarding the strength of the sub floor. However, once the room was gutted, he happily informed me that the guts of the room were in great condition! I also noted that Paul consistently demonstrated good judgment - he wanted to make sure the job was done right. So when the window supplier provided a window that Paul didn't think would fit, he replaced the glass blocks over the top to make sure there was a good fit in the window opening. After the job was done, Paul made sure to educate me on good ways to make the trim look good. Paul was also very responsive; after the job was done, the doors seemed to shift a tiny bit, but enough that they started to stick. He came back the next work day and fixed everything. This is an above and beyond contracting service. First I got 3 bids for what I wanted done. MPT was the last one I talked to. Meet with Paul. Explained what we wanted done. He sent us a quote about a week later. This was exactly what we wanted with the budget we were dealing with. We agreed t the contract and was told they were finishing up another project and would be with us in a week. In the meantime, my wife and I went to all the stores and purchased new towel bars, soap dishes, etc.. Waited about three days from start date to order new custom made vanity. That was a mistake on our part. Paul brought the job site boss Stanley to the house and introduced him. Worked was started on time at 8:00 am and stopped around 4:00 pm. Every now and then Stanley would ask us to take a look and make sure this is how we wanted it to look. Yep, right on target. Took about 5 days for the entire project except for the vanity which was going to be a couple weeks late. Paul said they could always come back to finish which they did. One thing that stands out above and beyond with this company, they picked up and delivered all the heavy bulky items like new bathtub. toilet and vanity. Another particular exceptional point to make is that even though Stanley only saw a picture of our new undelivered vanity, he did the Faux painting to match it exactly. This is one great company. I will definitely hire this company again.

Paul was great to work with! He was conscientious, communicative and very helpful - particularly given the magnitude of the job, he was always willing to do whatever needed to be done to stay on schedule. This was a big job that took a little over a month. Paul's team was professional and their workmanship was excellent. My ONLY small complaint - and given the nature of the work (drywall & wood floors) was that there was still a significant amount of clean up to do after the team left - mostly dust, dust and more dust. Regardless, I highly recommend Paul and would definitely use him again. There is not much that I wouldn't trust him to do.

Paul and his assistant were here right on time. They were efficient and quiet and cleaned up after themselves. But what I liked best is that Paul does go beyond and assisted with a bathroom faucet in another bath. Later, he came back and turned up our water heater to resolve a problem I did not know we had. I recommend him highly!!

initially is was good but withing the year the moldings started separating. I called in another carpenter and was told it was a horrible job. They came back once to fix but the same separation is still happening. I had to pay a painter after they put them up. They said they would come back but never did or they never called me back

The cost of the project was more then I was wanting to spend at this time.

We started vetting contractors through Angies List last year for a bathroom remodel project & requested quotes from multiple contractors. MPT was very prompt in their responses & had a competitive quote. After speaking with Paul a couple of times, we decided to work with MPT. We couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of work, attention to detail & professionalism that the MPT team demonstrated. We were promised that the work would be finished in 2 weeks and and they finished it right on time (9 working days). Every morning they arrived promptly at 8 AM and some mornings I was pleasantly surprised to see them waiting outside the driveway until it was 8 AM. They were extremely detail-oriented and kept us abreast of developments along the way, with Paul even providing expert knowledge where our knowledge was limited. Cleanup after the task was also beyond my expectations. Overall, we were extremely pleased working with Paul, Martin & Emilio. We have multiple small projects to do around the house & they will be my first choice for all those projects.

Paul took care of a toilet that was leaking that was complicated as the tank was glued to the wall. He managed to pry it loose and fix the leak without damaging the toilet or the wall! He also took care of the sink faucets which only ran the cold water. We went past the 2 hours I purchased but he had to go for parts and it was a complicated fix so we were happy with the result!

Paul was extremely professional and he even went beyond what was originally asked of him. - Paul and two of his co-workers removed all of the drywall, plus the wall and floor tiles, tub, and toilet, and hauled away all of the debris. - Some of the plumbing had to be redone as Paul found some rusting pipes in the wall. He told the building engineer about this issue since the pipe actually belonged to the neighbor across from me and he was given permission to fix this pipe. He was compensated from the condo association for this additional work. - The first thing to be installed was a custom one-piece show base purchased from Corna Kitchen Bath & Tile. - They installed new drywall, wall tile was installed and grouted, and then new floor tile was installed. - They installed a hand held shower faucet, a rein shower, recessed lighting in the ceiling, and a sliding glass shower door. - The entire bathroom was primed and painted. - A new toilet was installed, plus a new vanity, vanity sink, faucet, mirror, and lighting. I have to say that this work was exceptional and I would not hesitate to recommend Paul to anyone who needs their bathroom remodeled. Even the engineer in the building commented to me about how neat Paul was after everything was torn down. Plus after the job was completed, he took pictures of the work and about a week later, he called me asking for Paul's phone number so he could recommend him for another job in the building. We did spend quite a bit on the materials (approx. $8,000) as we bought everything from Studio 41 and Corna Kitchen Bath & Tile. But I have to say that everything we bought was worth it and the bathroom now looks amazing! Thanks Paul.

Very fair price, Scheduling got a bit confusing because I called and so did the tenant. But the company fixed the confusion and everything got done well and on time. The problem was that one of the workers spent half an hour telling me about his hellfire and damnation religion.

Paul was on time. He was prepared. Solved problems -- was a perfectly suited to the job.
