I bought an Angie's List $75 coupon for kitchen plans from I-Build. They devised a a kitchen remodel plan after visiting our home. They did spend a lot of time talking with me and sharing their ideas. The visit was professional and congenial. The plans were sent via e-mail. After review, I decided not to use I-Build for my remodel but would consider them again for another project.

Tony was punctual and provided good ideas and 3-D renderings of his ideas. He said he would provide a detailed quote/bid to do the work, but he never did that. Although, that really was not part of this deal, so it should not be held against him. He simply should have never offered it in the first place if he was not going to provided it. His ideas were very good and based on a lot of experience. The renderings he provided were well done.

I-Build contacted us directly shortly after we purchased the deal through Angie's List. Our originally scheduled appointment had to be changed due to one of us having Jury Duty. Unfortunately I-Build did not update their schedule and no one showed up. I called I-Build to find out what happened and they were able to send someone over within an hour. Our expectation was that I-Build would assist us with some of the details in the bathroom; such as tiling, vanity, paint colors, etc. This was not the case as all that I-Build provided was a quote and a list of items we would need to purchase to have them installed. The representative from I-Build that came out had few examples of bathroom remodels to show us and said that because we were leaving the fixtures in their original locations there was no need for the 3D rendering. He gave us an overview of what would happen if I-Build was to perform the work and a list of materials that we would need to purchase. We asked about assistance in choosing tiles and other items and he said that if I-Build was selected for the job they would help us. Overall I felt like I paid someone to give me a quote. This may be more of a reflection on a bad 'deal' from Angie's List than I-Build, but this is billed as a Kitchen or Bathroom remodel. I-Build seemed better prepared for a kitchen than a bath.

We purchased a home in July of 2013 that needed extensive renovations. We obtained a total of 5 different bids. I Build gave us the most reasonable price and the most reasonable timeline. The kitchen and bathrooms were gutted and completely remodeled. The kitchen work included a complete redesign of the space. The tile work in the bathrooms was exceptionally beautiful. In addition, they installed hardwood flooring throughout the entire home. We are very satisfied with the completed work. During the renovation process both Frank and Tony were accessible and responsive to any and all of our concerns. We just celebrated our first Christmas in our new home and our guests were extremely complimentary of the renovation. They could not believe the transformation of the house. I would highly recommend I Build to anyone needing any remodeling done.

Took a little longer than discussed for the first plans but they were very responsive and willing to make changes several times per my request. We are holding off on the work for now with other issues to address but I'm very happy with the plans.

The "3D" rendering was of a lower quality than the easy to use free websites you can do online, and it only took them 2 weeks longer than quoted to get back to us. On top of that, they did not bother to give us a quote. Just 5-6 angles of the 3D image, and it wasn't even the full project we described. As a plus, they were friendly, and arrived on time for the original meeting, which is nice.

They did very well. They gave me an estimate and we added a couple projects later. They installed a half bathroom to our basement. His pricing was reasonable with the initial estimate as well as for additional items added and they performed additional work at no cost. They completed the work in the timeframe they indicated they would. Tony did come by a couple times and the Foreman checked on the work daily.

We are currently in the process of remodeling our kitchen.Toni has been amazing.He is very reliable. He cares about the product .He is flexible.I would recommend him unequivocally.

Outstanding job - Tony and the entire I-Build team are top notch! We recently purchased a 50 year old home with a kitchen that have never been updated. Needless to say it was a disaster and desperately needed a complete overhaul. It was a pleasure to work with Tony and his team. He was professional, enthusiastic, and really listened to our ideas to understand what was most important to us. He worked up a great design plan and made excellent recommendations when we picked out the kitchen cabinets, counters, and additional materials. The quality of the cabinets is better than any we'd seen on our own. While Tony and the crew leader met with us to walkthrough the design plan and schedule the job, we found an issue with a structural wall that could have derailed the project. Tony put us at ease and we were assured that he would find a solution that would not kill our budget and still create our dream kitchen. A few days later he and his designer Agnes updated the layout, the end result being even better than the original. Once the project was underway, the crew leader stopped in regularly to check on progress and address any concerns. We were very impressed with their professionalism, and the speed and efficiency with which they worked. I expected the whole house to be covered in dust from the construction, but they made sure to tape the plastic that was hung, then cleaned and vacuumed, and hauled away all of the garbage and materials at the end of each work day. We absolutely love our new kitchen and will be working with I-Build again on our next project in 2014 to install new windows, update the basement full bathroom, and install new ceramic flooring in the foyer.

The owner, Tony, came out and checked out the bathroom with measurements and a lot of good advice as to what we could accomplish in the small bathroom. Also explaining why my original thought wouldn't work because of the size of the room but offered an even better suggestion. He showed me a sample of what he had in mind from a bathroom that he had just completed. Also while he was there I had asked him to take a quick look at our other bathroom and how we would be able to accomplish the changes we had in mind. He gave great input. I will definitely use iBuild's services when we are able to start on the bathroom repairs.

Jay Borrero has worked with us on two different projects. The iBuild inc has done a great job on our projects. Jay has helped us build our new roof, and the back porch stairs. The results were excellent and the quality of work is great. Jay has been very flexible and helpful in dealing with my parents who don't speak good English. Jay and iBuild inc has been very professional and accommodating to all our needs and concerns. I am looking forward to work with Jay again in future and strongly recommend them to everyone. Though they didn't provide any work. They were very quick to get in touch with me and contacted angie's list to make sure I would get a full refund on the special I had purchased due to them being unable to fulfill it.

My experience was similar to previous reviews. After purchasing the deal I was contacted promptly by I Build to schedule the appointment. I was told the owner of the company would be visiting my place along with their designer. The day before the appointment I got another call that the owner and designer would not be able to make it but they would be sending someone else in their place. Frank was on time and courteous but to saw the review of my bathroom was perfunctory would be an overstatement. The less than 15 minute visit included some measurements and a pitch for a designer showroom. The 3D drawings that showed up via email about 10 days later were somewhat of a joke. The measurements were completely generic and included "design" elements that would be been outdated years ago, let alone anything that is current in remodeling these days.

It went well as the specifications provided will be helpful for planning for the remodel in the future.

It was very good. They were very helpful and friendly. They got the design to us in about a week and a half.

Once they discovered I had my own contractors, they lost all interest. They did throw together some nice looking plans & 3D renderings, but they were inaccurate in both dimension and detail. My request to correct the drawings was ignored

Excellent. The owner, Tony, and his designer, Agnes, arrive exactly as scheduled, provided great insight into the project and prepared detailed plans to combine modern features with 100 year-old Arts & Crafts elements of the house. We have used the plans, with their assistance, to select all necessary fixtures, materials, etc. Based on the outstanding experience to date, we have engaged IBuild to complete the project. We look forward to getting started and are confident of a great product.

The original appt. day got cancelled ON the day of appt., 'designer' was running behind. The appt. was re-scheduled, the 'designer', Frank called before arriving. I normally wouldn't pay 75.00(or any amount) for someone to come in and 'look' at a project Unless I needed 'designer' help/suggestions and the Angie's List description was for "Complete with 3-D Renderings". Frank explained I have a typical 5 x 7 bathroom and pretty much gave me a verbal quote ($6950.) And I would have to provide some material ex: grout for the color I choose. He also mentioned a designer showroom nearby, a place he works with~ I could go and pick out my 'accessories' and that gal could provide the service/help/suggestions. What did I pay $75. for? When I asked about the 3-D, he said 'well I could, but it won't look any different than it does now, except a soffit would be removed. THE ONLY thing that would change. We he left I felt 'taken' and was quite surprised. He left with the promise of a e-mail quote, everything in writing. He called soon afterward thanking me for the opportunity and the promise of a e-mail which I have NOT received. Nov. UPdate: I received a written proposal, all details included. I received a call from the owner, Tony, we figured out the 3-D was sent to the wrong email. So he resent that, which was underwhelming. So bottom line is Tony asked what he could do to make it right and he refunded my 75.00 fee.

Went just fine. IBuild came to my home accidentally when I had tried to cancel my appointment. They were polite and friendly when I explained we were moving and would try to use their services in our new home. The new home does need some help, but drawings/3D renderings are not necessary. A simple estimate was all that was required. iBuild came and did their work politely, professionally, and were willing to work with me on price. I have no complaints.

iBuild is a great and growing company; however, they currently cannot keep up with the demand in front of them. I feel that if we could have received a price quote from him in a timely matter, we would have gone with him for his business. However, I ended up going with another contractor after a few weeks of waiting on a price quote.

I worked with Jay and Tony at I Build to have a new roof put on my very old house. They were fantastic. The job was done beautifully and finished just when they said it would be. Both Jay and Tony were very responsive to my calls and never got frustrated with all my questions. I will definitely use I Build for all of my home maintenance and remodeling needs.

Didn't get past the proposal stage primarily because it took iBuild 5 weeks to provide an initial proposal that was originally agreed to be provided on the 2nd week. iBuild's delay resulted in us evaluating additional contractors and other proposals.

Tony and his team were very professional and easy to work with. Tony understood my budget and amount of work needed. They worked with me on my timeline to get the work done and were always willing to give advise when asked. I enjoyed Tony's professionalism and his willingness to go above and beyond. I look forward to working with Tony again in the near future!

We used an Angie's List Big Deal to get about 1500 off the price of labor that amount was added back into the total shown here. We think we got a fair deal (about the same price as the three other quotes we got) and decided to spend a bit more on tile, sink and fixtures to get the look we wanted so the grand total was more like 14,000 but that included a new sink, tub, fixtures and fan. iBuild communicates well with their clients, have hard-working crews and a diligent manager for the project who would communicate with us and be the go-between. They wanted the job done right, and never poo-pooed any of our points on the punch list. There wasn't much of a downside, but if there was one it was that they seemed to be stretched thin, so they were rushed at times and sometimes had different guys coming to finish up the not-so essential items like the second coating of grout, closet door installation (they had to be back-ordered) and mirror installation, etc. They were by no means pokey in their speed of getting things done. Although the project stretched out longer than we had planned, for lots of different reasons, we really like how the bathroom turned out. They put in a dimmer, a closet light, vent, and a new mirror and a few other things on their own dime. Basically, they worked like dogs to make us happy with the end result. We hope we can do our kitchen with them next year, too. Nice, caring people to work with and very generous with their time. Thanks, iBuild!
