I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal to quiet a very noisy garage door. John called me to schedule the appointment and called when he was on the way. The appointment took only about 15 minutes because he had a helper with him. John took the time to explain what he did and what I need to do to keep the door functioning and quiet. Great service.

They contacted me more than once to schedule the work, so I did not have to bug them.

They were very proficient, arrived on time, and completed the work in a timely manner. It went very well.

I think they did a great job. Their employees were cordial, showed up right on time, and did excellent work.

The work turned out fine. They arrived on time, and worked very efficiently. However, I feel that the price was a bit high for the amount of time the actually spent at my home.

The gentleman called back right away. We personally did not feel that it was worth the $125.00 per door that we paid. He placed a new roller on each door but we are still receiving the same noise afterwards. We were thinking that the way the package was described that they would be revamped and be able to fix the issue we are experiencing.

The technician arrived within 40 minute of my phonecall. He diagnosed the problem right away and gave me a quote of $110.00 for parts and labor. He then referred me back to Angie's List to get the $30.00 off coupon they have so that I only ended up paying $80.00. That is an $80.00 well spent! He had the job completed within 30 minutes and I am so glad to have a working garage door again.

Called and indicated about what time they would come out and came out in a timely fashion. Quickly recognized each problem area and indicated what needed to be done, what parts were needed, and how long it would take. The owner and technician were very experienced and I had confidence they would get my door working properly. After completing repairs, they checked and re-checked to make sure the door closed properly, but also closed quietly. In addition to their professionalism, they were very personable. I was happy there was a high quality service provider available on the far south side of Chicago available through Angie's List.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the service. They were professional and installed everything quickly. I was quoted a very reasonable price and appreciated the Angie's List discount I received.

The service appointment was set for Thursday morning, July 21, 2011 and John called around 10:00 to say he'd had an emergency to attend to so wouldn't be able to make it until between noon and one o'clock. This was convenient for me, so no problem. He came at 12:10 and he and his co-worker went to work. They did all the work that was expected in the Angie's List coupon and explained that the doors couldn't be made much quieter because of their age and condition. This I knew. They're better, though -- they don't struggle noisily upon opening and roll up and down more smoothly than they did before. I'd give them an A on their mechanical work but have to mark them down because of the amount of black grease they left behind. I provided paper towels for whatever wipe-ups they wanted to do, but their hands were so greasy that the handle on my garbage can lid was covered. I had said they could toss the used towels in it., and they did, but I had to clean up after they left. Grease was also on the emergency pull cords and greasy hand prints were on the edges of both doors, inside and out. Would I use them again? Probably not. If I had a door emergency and couldn't find someone else to take care of the problem, I'd call them. But they wouldn't be my first choice.

Before I purchased this order I called and asked if he came out to our area and he stated "yes" and stated he would call that night to let me know what time he would be arriving on the 13th. Yes he did call and stated he had an overwhelming response and would like to come out on the 19th and stated he would call on the evening of the 18th or the following morning. I contacted him this morning and he again stated he could not come out til approximately Thursday and I reminded of our previous conversations and he stated he doesn't do this area and to send a truck for one house would not be worth the trip. I also reminded him of our first conversation which he stated "yes we do come out to your area". Now I have paid for this service and don't seem to be getting anywhere. Where do I go from here?

I was begining to have trouble with my garage door making a lot of noise and not going up as quick as it used to I found Beverly Garage Doors on Angie's list, and noted they were running a special on door maintenance and their ratings were very good. I set up an appointment for their service special, and they offered to come out the next day. I couldn't be there when they arrived, but to say my wife was very impressed would be an understatement. They called to say they were enroute, and arrived promptly. They were very courteous and professional. The garage door has never operated as smooth and quietly as it does now. They cleaned up everything and took the time to explain to my wife what was done. I would definitely use them again, and will and have recommended them to my friends and family

I accepted an Angie's list Big Deal from Beverly Garage Doors because my garage door wasn't working properly. I received a call from John at Beverly and qucklly scheduled an appointment for the next afternoon. I received a follow-up call from John on the 13th letting me know when he'd be arriving. John arrived right on time, explained what he was going to do, then proceded to replace the original rollers, inspected and adjusted as necessary the entire system, and finished the job much quicker than I expected. I am completely satisfied, and will call Beverly for future maintenance

We had an appointment the day after I bought the coupon. They arrived on time. I explained that the door worked OK but was noisy and seemed rickety during opening and closing, and since the weather stripping needed replacing, I had decided to get the reconditioning package. We talked about the weather-stripping, they told me the price, and I left them alone to do their work. They let me know when they were finished. I went back to the garage and they explained what they had done. They suggested that I spray the roller mounts occasionally with W-D 40. They were professional and pleasant. If we need repairs or a new garage door in the future, Beverly Garage Doors is the first vendor I would call.

John from Beverly Garage Doors answered the call within the hour. Stated basic fee was all in a regular days work and no more than 50.00. (We honestly weren't convinced, seeing is believing). John arrived at the stated time, was professional, mended the spring within 1/2 hour and only charged total of 120.00. Included in this price was programming our garage door opener to our two motovehicles (which my husband and I have tried to do multiple times) and no extra charge. I hope this honesty and professionalism is here to stay!! What a suprise!!
