Beverly Garage Doors

My opener broke and was so old there were no longer parts available to fix it. John and his partner from Beverly Garage Doors replaced it with a new one. They showed up on time, replaced the old one with a new one, and came up with a clever solution to the placement of the button on the inside of the garage. They were quick and cleaned up the area when they were done.

They arrive on time and were able to quickly identify the problem.

The company was here promptly when they said they would be. They quickly installed the new opener, replaced the rollers on the door, luricated everthing and adjusted the door springs. They cleaned up after they were done and took away te old opener. They were extremely professional. Use of the new opener and all the available extras were explained to me before they left. The men were friendly and extremely courteous. This was an Angies List Big Deal so the price was outstanding. The company did not however, short me in their service even hogh they were only getting paid half of what he service was worth. I will definitely use tis company again if needed in the future.

From initial phone call coming to the house and installing was all completed in about a day.

The installation went great and John and his associate were true professionals. John came promptly and got to work right away. Although he had to do extra work due to shoddy initial installation, didn't charge me extra. Also, did a bunch of other little things like drill new holes in the door where they had been stripped, regreased all the bolts and chains on the door, and installed the wireless door keypad for me. Also, spent the time to give me a tutorial on the features of the keypad and other options for the garage door. Definitely wasn't trying to just churn through as many people as he can in a day but instead took the time to make sure I understood how to use things. I think I got a great deal for $400 for a super quiet garage door and only charged me $25 to have a 3rd opener! Most places online charge more than that, so he just charges for cost. Can't say enough good things about these guys. I even gave John and his associate a $20 tip for all the extras, which I usually never do!

John and team did a really nice job. They were quick to schedule an installation date and arrived on time. John is very personable and is very knowledgeable about his craft. He took the time to explain all the features to me.

well there was a problem to get a permit but it was the city and in the end Joe got the permit and saved me the trip. very reasonable and open to whatever problem there may be. I have no regrets on this one.

John and his colleague came by and fixed our garage door that was driving us insane with its non-functionality. (I had emailed them on Tuesday and indicated there was no rush, but they came by the next day.) I was positive we needed to start from scratch and get a new door. No. They fixed the wiring to the sensor and then provided us with a new remote - one that WORKS, what a CONCEPT - to keep in our car, all for $99, minus a $30 coupon that was available on Angie's List that we did not even know about. It took less than 30 minutes and they were very pleasant and professional and it was entirely painless. And now we don't have to spend 10 minutes swearing at our garage door every time we want to close it.

Our garage door broke after making loud, creaking noises and then got stuck half-open. We saw the lift cable (on the side of the door) was jammed so we tried to untangle it so that the door would at least fully close. We couldn't untangle it, (the door itself being very heavy didn't help), so we disconnected the cable and were able to close the door. We then called Beverly Garage Doors despite my father's hesitation because of their reviews on Angie's List. I believe John answered and responded promptly - I called in the afternoon, and he offered to come the next morning. We chose to wait until the afternoon for our convenience, and he had no problem with that. He arrived early with one other and performed the work very quickly (30-40min) while also recommending that we replace our springs because one of them was cracked. Since we have experienced the pain of broken springs years ago, we accepted his offer to replace the springs (my father was impressed because the serviceman we had used 4-5yrs ago required three extra days to order the parts; Beverly Garage Doors performed the work on the spot). Again, after only 30-40min, the door was in full-working order, and they were on their way. We were impressed at their work and speed, and my father is eager to recommend them for anyone needing garage services. Beverly Garage Doors did a great job - thanks!

They did a great job. It was done quickly and efficiently. They answered all of my questions and provided helpful hints for maintaining the door.

My elderly mother-in-law called me because her garage door was broken and she was worried about intruders. I immediately called Beverly Garage Doors and spoke with the owner. I explained the situation and requested that he bill me and not take any money from my mother-in-law. He agreed. He went to her house within a day and fixed the problem. My mother-in-law called me and was so impressed with the repair guy's professionalism and kindness. She told me she is going to tell all her friends about the wonderful experience she had with Beverly Garage Doors. The owner called me after the work was completed and explained what he did and then took the payment over the phone. He then mailed me a receipt. Perfect experience.

Everything worked out well. They’re very reliable people. They did a good job. I was pleased with them. I’ve called them back on several occasions and so I’m pretty happy. The price was pretty good. They came when they said they would. I will use their services again in the future.

I used the special coupon from Angie’s List. It didn’t cost me anything more than the coupon and the coupon was $150. I liked that they were timely, friendly and organized. They did quick work. They explained all things well.

After the inspection the guys explained what part I needed informed me that they would return the next day to fix the problem but before they left worked on my door to secure and stop it from slamming to the ground when I manually opened and closed it. they returned the next day and replaced the rail that carried the hook that lifts the door. They also put a new battery in my wireless entry pad.

John with Beverly Garage Doors was VERY friendly, honest and did a great job repairing my garage door. He took the time to explain his procedure and offer recommendations on future maintenance plus his pricing was very reasonable. I will be using Beverly Garage Doors in the future without a doubt!

We had a problem with the garage doors that were newly installed by a company I don't care to mention and don't want to have anything to do with (not on Angie's List). The door seemed like it was catching on something as it was closing and opening and jumping so badly we feared it would jump right off the track. We called Beverly and John said he could come out to have a look in a couple of hours. He did, and immediately determined what the problem was and had it fixed in about 20 minutes. He honored the discount we got from Angie's List. He was extremely nice and not at all bothered that it was such a small job.

John and his worker arrived on time and were thorough and efficient in performing the required tasks. John made sure to explain and show me everything they did and answer the questions I had, along with discussing the quality of the garage door we have. He was very polite and professional and I would hire them again.

The service was outstanding. He came on a sunday the day after I called. The price was very reasonable. You just dont find people like this anymore! Couldn't say more positive things about this company!

Overall experience was great. John answered all my questions and I had several. I now have a nice quiet garage door, new codes and a garage door opener I can give to my daughter for emergencies.

John worked on a double and single door for me, one needed allignment and rollers the other just lube.As he was making adjustments he found a significant problem with one of my garage openers, it was only days away from a complete breakdown. The extra $60 was not planned, but I watched as he basically rebuilt the opener on site and showed me the bad parts. He saved me the cost of a new opener and installation. Also gave me a new remote, programmed it for both doors and left the instructions to program it if needed. He knows what he is doing and works fast. My garage doors work like new.

After 8years of use I was convinced I needed a new automatic garage door opener. It had began stopping on a fairly regular basis and was extremely loud during operation. I came across an Angie's Deal of the day that included installing a wireless keypad, replacing my metal rollers with quieter plastic ones and a general diagnosis to determine what other issues may exist. Boy am I pleased I came across this deal. I purchased the deal on a Friday and John called me to schedule an appointment for 2 days later. He explained that he usually doesn't provide service on Sunday but due to the deal of the day promotion, business was hopping and he'd be in my area and could make my service call that Sunday morning. The technician that came out was very professional and exceeded my expectations with the service he provided. My door sounds and runs better today than the first day it was installed which he also explained was the result of the opener being calibrated incorrectly to begin with. My fault for having a general handyman do the initial installation 8 years ago. This was a 5 Star experience!!!!!

They performed the installation quickly and checked the garage doors for any issues. They had to come back to my house because I was not available at the original appointment time. They were very cooperative and rescheduled quickly and completed the job in a prompt manner.

John was great. He called tom schedule an appointment as soon as I purchased the deal. He called to say he was on his way and arrived on time. He not only performed the service I paid for, but also re-programmed my keypad and fixed two of my garage door openers that haven't worked for years at no extra charge, even though I offered to pay! Best of all, he was able to make the nosiest garage door operate almost silently! My son's bedroom is above the garage, and the door has been waking him up for 15 years, but no more! Now we can open and close the door repeatedly without waking him. We should have done this years ago, but I didn't know it was even possible. John is a garage door wizard!! We couldn't be happier.
