Mike and his son built us a beautiful deck. Excellent workmanship. Very courteous and personable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a top quality deck at a reasonable price.

These guys are the best hands down. Very professional, quality work and reasonably priced. They go the extra mile to make sure that everything is the way it should be and then some. Picky about the lumber and material that's use. Would highly recommend them to anyone. If anyone is interested in coming out to see the deck they built around my pool feel free to contact me.

This father/son team tore down our old deck and built us a beautiful new deck - all within our budget. They took care of the paperwork, julie, and the inspector's visits. They were courteous, careful of our landscaping, and left the site tidy at the end of their day. Our new deck is sturdy and well-constructed, with great attention to detail - very nice finishing touches. Definitely hire these pros with confidence.

Mike was amazing. He was thorough, prompt and precise. When Mike came to give us an estimate, he listened to the ideas we had in mind. Our backyard was a blank slate that he transformed into a beautiful living/entertainment space for our family and friends to enjoy. We could not be happier with the way the deck turned out. Mike and his son rebuild our octagon shaped deck during the winter in a excellent way. Sure there were weather delays from snow and ice but the end result was a great finished product. Mike dealt with the village permits and village engineers in a professional way and I did not have to deal with them. It may not be a huge company with all kinds of fancy drawings etc. but the job was done better than my expectation.

Great experience and great job. He was helpful in the planning and design. All at a fair price. I highly recommend him and his son. I love our deck now.

Mike from Quality Craft came out in a timely manner and measured up our deck that we needed replaced. Within a couple of days I had a quote from him which I thought was reasonable. Mike and his son came out a Friday and tore off the old deck and railings and laid the floor of the new deck. They came back on Monday and finished screwing down the cedar boards and built the new railings. Even though the rains came and they were soaked, they continued with the project until completed. Mike and his son were very nice to work with. They cleaned everything up and even helped to move our grill, deck box and plants back onto the deck because my husband and I have problems lifting heavy objects.

We had 3 people who did an estimate on our deck and Mike had the most resonable numbers so we hired him. We admire how 2 men can finish the job satisfactorily, although it took longer than a week, were impressed with their work.

Excellent experience in all respects. Mike & Shane worked together like a team a well trained team to provide us with a end result that more than satisfied our expectations. Our neighbors immediately started complementing us on the looks and craftsmanship of the finished product. I give Mike and Shane a 5 rating across the board and two thumbs up as well. Thank you.

Mike and Shane did a great job on replacing my 90-yr.-old brick and masonry stoop. The site was awkward and strenuous to work on, complete with hidden surprises, but they cleared the area and built a good looking pressure treated wood deck that compliments my home.

Quality work. Deck looks great! Mike was creative in building a Trex composite deck in combination with pressure treated wood. He saved us money by using wood in railing areas and using composite for all the areas we would touch. The work is really solid and you can tell both guys take pride in their craft and pay attention to details. The only negative thing I would say is that he gets very defensive when you ask simple questions. We ask questions because we don't know why certain things are done certain ways, not because we question the workmanship.

A Quality Craft deck is exactly what Mike & Shane built for us when we had them replace our 19 yr old cedar deck. Our new Trex Composite deck is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! It is quality built by a quality driven Father & Son team! Their hard work is truly seen in the MAGNIFICENT deck they built for us. Besides being excellent carpenters, they are very cordial & friendly & a pleasure to work with. Their work is no less than PERFECTION at it's finest! Mike and his son built the most beautiful and sturdy deck I could have imagined. He accommodated all my special requests and recommended tweaks that made it unique and special. I have had rave reviews from all my neighbors about my deck, saying it "MAKES" my house. It has been noted many times that it was obviously built by a master craftsman. I am now selling my house and received 3 offers the first weekend I had the house listed. I am convinced the deck helped make that happen and contributed to the offers I received. No other house on the market has a deck as wonderful as mine.

What a great experience! Thank you Mike and Shane. This was our first time working with a contractor and they were great. Our deck is exactly what we wanted and the workmanship is excellent. Price, quality and their one on one customer service can't be beat. They answered all our questions and took care of everything from permits to cleaning up after a workday. They did good work. However they started each day late morning, and when we had some questions about details they were not only not receptive but were somewhat hostile. "I have never been questioned about what I am doing." "But we are the customer and we are paying for this." By way of defending his behavior he said he was stressed because he underbid the project, although he admitted this was not our fault or responsibility.In the end the project turned out well so we do not complain about the workmanship. We feel that "customer service" and a little patience with the customer's questions could be better. After all we have to live with it!
