They are fantastic, did a great job, followed the quote, and arrived on time. I would recommend them.

They came out right away, they did the job and I thought that they were very good. They seem very honest. For price, they maybe a little high but they did the work fast, they came out right away, I had a main water line that was broken and they got the work done fast, they were clean and they were off.

I was given a time frame between 9:00 and 12:00. He arrived at 9:30 and was gone by 10:00. He was professional and friendly. Everything went well and the toilet is working just fine. I would highly recommend them.

I called at 3:30 pm and they arrived at 9:30 on 12 Jul. They said there was a $140 service charge and would call if anything else was required. They said they would mail me a bill. They did neither. It took 4-5 calls to have them arrive at all. My credit card was charged by Mahoney Plumbing. I called them and they said they would rectify the problem because they are a common billing service. They never called again. I called Ravania and they did nothing. Terrible company without integrity. I would never use them again.

I like Mahoney - they're honest and dependable. But the service depends on the plumber. One plumber rodded our drains well, another - not so much. We had to call them back.

It went very well. On Sunday, 6/16, we noticed water leaking from our main shut-off valve in our laundry room. We called Ravinia Plumbing and spoke to one of their plumbers. Because the leak was not life-threatening or too bad, we scheduled for Monday. The plumber showed up and evaluated the project. It was determined that the actual water main to the house would need to be shut off. When a team from our Village was called to shut off the valve, it was discovered that the water main needed to be cleaned out. They accomplished this on Monday afternoon, but after normal hours for the plumber. The plumber came back Tuesday morning and fixed the issue in about an hour once the water was shut off. He cleaned up the area where he worked.

We like them a lot. I personally had to buy the part because of the situation. It took them a couple of times to figure it out, they were trying to use the existing system and fix it, that it was not fixable. They are my go to plumbers at this time.

They are a great company. They are professional and intelligent and know what they are doing. They are honest and don’t try to sell me anything that I don’t need. They are a small family business and are very highly regarded in the area. They were very responsive so we didn’t have to wait.

Our first appointment was cancelled due to a severe storm and flooding in the Chicago area. Very understandable--there were homes with major problems that required Ravinia's help and we were agreeable to change the appointment. When our appointment came around, Ravinia was very prompt and did a really nice job. Ravinia did a great job. Everything was left clean and neat. The installation is working well.

They do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it. They are quick, clean and experts. Their pricing is on the higher side but I think it was a fair price. I highly recommend them.

We have been a loyal Ravinia Heating/AC & Plumbing customer for more than 10 years. In fact, we have been a "home care club" member with them for many years, which means we pay a set fee for the year for heating and AC service in spring and fall. For a long time, Ravinia was very good. They showed up on time. They provided the required service. Technicians were friendly, and customer service people were friendly over the phone. However, in the past couple years, that service level has declined and the biggest issue has been keeping appointment times. We have had numerous occasions over the last two years where Ravinia shows up late for an appointment window that spans 3 hours (9am-12pm or 12pm-3pm). Today was the worst. We had the two appointments mentioned above scheduled for between 9am-12pm. The sprinkler system technician showed up just before noon, apologizing for his lateness. I had called at 8:30am to get an estimate of where we were on the schedule, and was told we were next on his list, but apparently that was not the case. The AC technician had not shown by noon, and the office could still not tell me when they might arrive. Further, the customer service person, Nicole, got very snotty with me about the situation, and then said she would have a manager call me because she didn't want to talk to me anymore due to my frustration. I called at 3pm because I had not yet heard from a manager, and was told he decided not to come back to work after lunch, so would call me tomorrow. up It seems that this long-established company has lost its customer service touch. And they'll be losing this customer as well after 10 years. Plenty of other options available.

I contacted Ravinia when we woke up to our basement shower flooding. It was early in the morning and it was an after hours contact. They did call back right away, however, because everyone was flooding, they were unable to send anyone right away. They gave me an idea what to do in the interim and did check back towards the end of the day to see if I still wanted them to come out to pump out the water. By that time, things had settled down and I didn't need their services.

Plumber arrived on time. He gave us the option of replacing the cartridge in the old faucet or installing the new faucet. We opted for installing the new faucet. He told us their flat charge to replace the faucet and asked if we wanted to proceed (if we did not accept the cost, then we had to pay a flat charge for his time to get to our home). We wanted the new faucet installed. Work went well and plumber was pleasant. At the end, plumber tested under the sink for leaks and found one leak from the new flexible pipe installed with the new faucet. He replaced that flexible pipe, tested again and found no leaks. Faucet works well. Work took a bit more than one hour. He cleaned up after he was done. Overall the job was well done.

The gentlemen performing the job was very knowledgeable and very nice. They ended up doing video of our sewer connection to determine if there were any problems. It turns out that in our area... yearly rooting seems to be required and its just an expected thing. Once the job was done, all our drains operated as they should. The only reason I marked them as a "B" instead of an "A" is that the price seemed very high for a rooting.

They got the job done within 4 hours. Ray was so cordial and polite, and he never came in the house without putting the covers over his shoes. He was respectful, conscieoutous, and courteous. He explained everything to me so that I would understand, and he was extremely patient with me. They were exceptional and I had a great experience with them. They were on time. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We contacted Ravinia to fix a leak with our A/C unit and they came out, found the leaky trap, carefully removed it and placed a bucket to catch the condensation until the replacement trap could arrive. When the part came in they promptly came out and performed the repair and put everything back like new. We plan to use them in the future for some improvement projects.

We had an emergency plumbing issue at my place of employment. I knew of DiPietro (Ravinia) and used them previously,and they were available over the weekend. Serviceman Chuck called in advance as I requested and arrived on time. He listened as I explained the problem, then he explained options and charges, and as he went along he asked for additional approval before performing any add-ons. He eventually discovered and explained an issue that a previous plumber had missed, and again described my options. No pressure when I went with Plan B instead of Plan A. The plumber was a wonderful guy - honest, diligent, hardworking, considerate, and cleaned up and sanitized afterward. I would be happy to recommend Chuck from DiPietro/Ravinia Plumbing to anyone!!

The company came 4 times. There was a sewer smell in the basement. They charged me $180 per hour even when they spent hours in the truck figuring out how much money they were going to charge you. I spend about $3.000 and they did not find the problem. I then called Cascade plumbing who solved the problem and charged me $275!!!!! I will never use Ravinia again!

A nice, younger guy named Jason came and cleaned out an multi-sink clog accessed from the crawl space. He later needed to return to clean out a related washing machine clog. He noted that some less than professional repairs had been made to a section of pipes, and that they had been pitched poorly. He further noted that future problems were likely until the problem was resolved. The young man was very helpful, professional, not at all pushy and got the job done. I am renting this home. The landlord is aware of the situation and will make larger repairs in the near future, hopefully selecting Ravinia. I previously owned another home in the area for close to 30 years, and after going through a handful of plumbers, I found Ravinia to be the most reliable, and the most professional. Many friends had recommended Ravinia in the Lake Bluff/Lake Forest area. Ravinia requires payment at the time of service, and therefore, their phone-friendly staff is especially important to their customers. They return calls quickly and politely, and let you know if they are running late. .

Workmanship looks outstanding. Clean and well done. Its the summertime, so cant speak to the functionality of the unit, but it looks nice. They came for quote on time, and installed the unit in a timely fashion & cleaned up after themselves. Thanks for the job well done.

They are very courteous and responsive. Their work is good and are always clean. I feel that they give us a fair price for the work that they do.

Sewage backed up into my basement. I found Ravinia Plumbing on Angie's List and called them.. They came out immediately and tried to rod out the line, which did not work, and they then inserted a video camera. It turned out that the sewer pipe was broken. By the next day they had obtained a permit from the village and dug up the sewer and replaced the broken section - all within one day. They were extremely professional and courtesy the entire time and were very easy to communicate with. I was very impressed that they could get a permit and finish the job so quickly. They did a great job. I gave them an A in every category except price. I gave them an N/A in the Price category, because this was an emergency and I did not get bids on the job, so I cannot judge the competitiveness of their price. I would definitely use them again.
