Description of Work: The gentlemen who rebuilt the chimney were professional in every sense of the word. Work was done, hours were sanely kept, and the clean-up left nothing more to be desired. | |The chimney liner was a tough job because the soot from the old oil burning furnace had to be cleaned out. The work was done efficiently and the clean-up did not leave me with additional wok after the gentleman left. All the workers were personable and friendly.I never felt any awkwardness throughout the job and my questions were fully answered.

Description of Work: Jim, was extremely professional and courteous when he came to inspect and clean our chimney (6 year-old home). Had all the right tools and was thorough both in his work and explaining it. Unfortunately he found cracked chimney tiles and chipped mortar inside which made it unsafe according to industry code - requiring a brand new chimney liner. A $4800 project. My only concern was that when I told him we weren't in a position to make that repair and asked for ANY other options - it took several emails for him to suggest downsizing the smoke-chamber (requiring a different and not-exactly aesthetically pleasing apparatus). In the end, he was helpful in explaining that - sent pictures, explained it and forwarded an estimate. We've yet to complete the repair (or burn a fire) since. |

Description of Work: Chimney clean and estimate for repair work. Very good experience. Cost was lower due to an Angie's List discount or they would have been higher than most. We felt the estimate for the chimney repair and extension to improve air flow and reduce/eliminate smoke blow-back on windy days was high and are seeking other estimates to verify.

Description of Work: Matt came out to check out our chimney for some issues and he was awesome!! Professional, explained everything and was very honest. This was our third company out and by far the most professional and didn't try to sell us something we didn't need.

Description of Work: Clean and inspected 2 chimneys. The service they provided was good, but their estimate to install new chimney liners was very high.

Description of Work: They found that our system was basically pretty clean but found some areas that will need some shoring up. My only complaint is that I have yet to hear back from the company with the quote for this additional work that the service rep said we be coming. I've called the company 3 times requesting the quote and have yet to receive the quote. Other than that, we're all good.

Description of Work: They came and pushed for a metal lining to be installed... subsequent to "rushing to complete" the job, other contractors provided repair options and mentioned that aluminum would have done the trick for half the cost. | |So while a quality outfit, I felt taken advantage of by over buying and over paying.

Description of Work: brick and morter falling into disrepair around chimney. Needed new crown due to crack in mine. guy who came out first to see what I needed was excellent-very imformative & clear when explaining my repair options. Service completed November, 2014. Later in spring they returned to complete wrap service on chimney. All seemed fine until my son was cleaning gutters & found the crown to be completely uneven with crevices throughout.(a picture showed it all). I sent picture to Lindemann w/ request to redo crown. They apologized & said they would get someone on it right away. They also said a photograph of completed work would be taken for me to see! Approximately 1 month past with no word. Suddenly crew showed up without warning to fix crown. I expressed my concern (since most people don't actually get up on roof to inspect chimney after work is done.) and asked that they take a picture of it after it was completed so I could see it. Once dried they disappeared but never showed me a picture of the work. I'm not real impressed, sorry.

Description of Work: Reline water heater flue. Installation of connections to accommodate all appliance venting. Used stainless steel liners. Seal flashing with FlashSeal. Waterproof chimney from roofline up. Flue tile installation. Sealing of crown. Came out to inspect and provide proposal, returned a few days later and completed all work in one morning. Great job.

Description of Work: Our communication started off well when they said they were able to do the job I requested, then a designer got involved, I sent her a picture of my fireplace by her request within a day, then I received an email from a different designer weeks later with a picture of a fireplace that was not anything that I had suggested with a note saying she attached an invoice for pricing, there was no attachment. I've lost interest in this company.
