They were excellent. They called me back right away. They sent me a professional quote. The job was done beautifully. They cleaned up well after they were done working.

The worst! Took them three trips to get my chimney cleaned because they did not have the supplies with them. First time; did not have any cleaning power to use. Second time- had to add power to chimney. Third time, I was told it would take 90 minutes to clean my chimney by the home office, but only took the guy 30 minutes in and out. I think I got a hose job here. I look up my chimney and it still looks the same as it did when I called them. Nothing like what their website shows. They also screwed up the billing and tried to bill me twice. Stay away from these guys and save yourself time and aggravation!

Even though Douglas did not do any work, they did give us the name of a company that would. We contacted them and they were very good about getting out and giving us an estimate.

I originally requested a video inspection of 3 chimneys, but after Mike did a visual inspection of the chimneys from inside and from the roof, I decided to have only the above-described repairs made. My primary concern was to stop interior moisture damage near a fireplace and we are hopeful that the new flashing will accomplish this. We did not obtain other quotes so I cannot offer a price comparison or judgment on the fairness of their pricing.

They were very good communicators. They called ahead of time and called to follow up. I would use them again. There were no surprises.

They were very prompt. I would use them again for future work; I've actually had them out twice.

They worked quickly and came in under estimate.

Doug arrive on time, laid cloth down to protect my room and cleaned the chimney without a speck of soot anywhere. He assessed the condition of my chimney and said it was in good shape and I didn't need to have it cleaned again for three years. He was friendly and courteous. Will call him again...in three years :-)

I am not a general contractor or expert in these matters, but I felt they did an excellent job and finished much sooner than I thought, 4 1/2-5 1/2 hours as opposed to all day. I felt confident in their abilities. They were very professional, but also personable.

Great experience overall. Arrived on time, protected the carpet, hearth, etc., cleaned up everything completely, advised us on when to have the chimney swept again. Knowledgeable, professional, no complaints whatsoever.

They returned my calls immediately. They called before they came and were on time. I wanted to pay by credit card but they said it would be a few days before they had their credit system set up and they would let me know when that would be, which they did. Michelle was great to work with.

Their technician arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently. He explained every step and was very polite. I received no pitches for unneeded products or services, no up sells. They provided just an honest, thorough, dependable service. He charged me an insignificant amount for some masonry repair that he could have charged me a lot more for without me knowing that it would have been a rip-off. He cleaned up everything.

Doug was on time for appointment, he was meticulous in his inspection, and made recommendations in case we were to convert gas log set-up back to burning wood. Doug was knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough.

Doug was very thorough. Answered all my questions and explained everything from start to finish. All in all I was VERY pleased with Doug and the quality of service and I would and will recommend him to friends and neighbors.

He was prompt, friendly, and outgoing. He was even honest enough to tell us we'll probably never need a cleaning again after going from wood to gas. I was surprised he didn't offer to simply fix the crown while on the roof. We won't be using them again as we simply don't need the service.

They clean all the garbage up before they leave and I really appreciate that. It only takes them about 25 minutes and they are done. I appreciate the fact that before they even start, they knock on the door to let me know they are around because they know we have the dogs.

We chose another vendor, but their service was fantastic. We're a little farther south (on the north side of Chicago) than their usual service area, but representative was on-time. He covered his shoes while in our home and even scoped out the outdoor portion of the work before even knocking on our door. He also cleaned up the small mess he made while checking out systems for an estimate.

The sweep showed up on time. He was careful to protect the carpet and furnishings from debris and ash. He thoroughly cleaned the chimney. He advised us that we had no chimney cap (we had just purchased the house) and asked if we wanted one installed without pressuring to do so. We decided to have one put on and he took care of it quickly and professionally.

It was fine. They were on time and courteous. They seemed to know what they were talking about.

The company was very courteous but they appear to have problems with their operations. They have a large backlog. Two of their installers were in the hospital. It took them 3 weeks before they could come out to look at our fireplace and give an initial quote. Then when we called back asking for more information about electronic ignition, it took them two weeks to send a quote for something we didn't ask for and the next date for installation was 4 weeks out. After talking with the estimator/installer it turns out, although their brochure shows electronic ignition, they have only done one and their electrician was waiting for a quote. The installer suggested I call another company in the area. I did and was able to get the product we wanted installed within a week at an acceptable price.

Doug was on time, nice, and did not try to sell me anything I did not need. He was clean, neat, courteous, and punctual. He was also great with my dog (a big plus for me). I would recommend without qualification!!

He was quick to set up an appt. at my convenience. He arrived on time, did the work, cleaned up, and left. They checked all aspects of the chimney, in and out, and was also very informative on issues with the fireplace.

Service man arrived on time and performed work after inspecting the site and giving my wife a quote. When I got home and inspected the work, I discovered that he had missed three or four joints and I called Lindemann to have the serviceman return and complete the job. I expected to get a hard time, but it did not happen. Everyone was very professional about it and he was scheduled to return at a time convenient to me. When he arrived he was very courteous and cleaned out and repaired the missed joints. He even took care of a couple of areas, that he noticed on the wall of the box. In summary, I wasn't very happy at first, that he hadn't done the job thoroughly in the first place, but I was very pleased with the way the company resolved the problem. Very professional outfit. Will definitely use them again.
