John and his assistant were professional and courteous in each of our encounters. He gave an estimate of his proposed work and final tally was quite accurate. Powerwashing of patio and back of house was wery successful in cleaning years of grime from cement and siding, greatly increasing our enjoyment of our back yard all summer. I would definitely use Country Living Construction again.

Move in to do list such as assembling furniture and hanging artwork. The work was great. We were very happy.

I have used Country Living Construction three separate times, they have been great all three times. The first time was to install some drywall in my kitchen and re install some cabinets. I had a leak in the master bathroom shower down into the kitchen. I had pulled out the cabinets and ripped out the drywall to investigate the leak. Once the leak was fixed, I hired Country Living to finish up the carpentry work in the ktichen, and repair some damaged tiles in the master bath. The second time was to install a new door into an existing frame, which wasn't as easy as I had additionally thought. Again, very professional. The final time was to repair some gutters that had pulled away from my house and wasn't a big enough job to hire out to a gutter company, plus I'd rather give my business to a company that is staffed by capable professional, quality workmen.

Didn't have them do the work because when I called on 9/23/13, the woman advised me that they were booked through the end of the year. Just wanted to let folks who are considering buying their coupon for the Big Deals know that, in case they need the work done sooner. I appreciated the woman's honesty in letting me know about the realistic time table.

The guys were great. The railing assembly was very complicated and tedious. They were able to do the assembly in about a quarter of the time it took me to do one my self. The time savings and look of the finished product was well worth it.

I was very pleased. They seemed to know what they were doing, were helpful and very professional. I felt like they had integrity.

Great! The crew was was wonderful. They arrived on time, went over my list andnasked questions. They immediately went to work. They were very efficient and did a great job with each item on my list. They asked questions if needled and pretty much worked independently to complete. As we entered the final hour they were so courteous to priortize what to work on based on the list.

The railing looks great. It took them about 6-7 hours to do do 6 sections of around 6ft each. The railing assembly was really complicated and required lots of cutting and drilling. It was much easier to hire them to do it rather than doy. I would hire them again. The coupon covered half the time of their work with two workers and I paid their hourly rate for the rest.

Went well. Scott was very professional and set expectations right from the start. No issues on quality I am already using Country living for fixing drywalls in my basement that was damaged due to flooding.

Well, I assumed that when I purchased the coupon on Angie's List for this company it would be legitimate . I read several reviews and thought I might give it a try. It took the company a week to finally get in touch with me, he claimed to have misplaced my phone number. I provided him with my phone number considering he asked for it via e-mail with the expectation that he would be contacting me. The next time he contacted me was again, by mail, and I work a lot and long hours therefore I really don't have the time to log into Angie's List all day, I just joined Angie's List and based on what has happened I will not be renewing my contract after it's expiration. If a phone number was provided to him, he should have been professional enough to call me. After he asked me if I want immediate service, he went on to tell me I must explain exactly what I needed because he's only expected to give me two hours of service at $69.99 (as if I couldn't read this myself at the time of purchase) or he charges $50.00 after the two hours and anything after two hours will go into his standard chargers. Needless to say, I DID explain exactly what was needed at one of my rental properties, he didn't respond after. I wouldn't want to speak with him even if he called right now to rectify the problem, but what I have done was explained how this purchased "coupon" service works to others. He never even said, "hey lady I can't do anything for you, but I can refund you money" well he can keep the $69.99, I'll consider it as charity work for the year.

It turned out pretty well. They were very friendly, they were on time, and they were really good craftsmen. I like that they were on time, I like their work very much, and they were professional. I will absolutely use them again. It's very good that there are some deals on Angie's List because they tend to be on the expensive side if you don't have a coupon.

He was curt and brusque in his response to me.

This guy who came from the business worked for the owner. He did exactly what I requested perfectly, which was to fix an area of my wall and a hole in the ceiling. I had another dry-wall problem that I showed him, because I wasn't sure how much dry-wall repair could be done in three hours, which was what I purchased, and he did not say he could or could not do it..perhaps I should have asked him directly to do it, but when I saw how much time he sat in his truck waiting for the other jobs to dry...he could have definitely done it. I was a little disappointed at his lack of initiative, but he seemed unhappy to be working for the Angie's price. he made it clear when I asked about other services of the company that they charge $50.00/hr. Had he taken more of an initiative to fill up the three hours with the other job..even if I would have ended up sanding it, I think I would have called the company back to tile my downstairs floor. But he was nice and very professional and the drywall work that he did was perfect. I would gladly have them come again for this work, even at $50.00/an hour!!

In my opinion, this job couldn't have gone any better. John, the owner, is extremely accommodating, customer friendly, and easy to work with. We agreed on the job, the price, and the date. I was called the day before to confirm, and was told they would be there at 7:45 the next morning. John, along with his crew consisting of Gene and Scott arrived on time. We reviewed and confirmed the job, and Gene and Scott went right to work. When they were finished, the I was extremely pleased with the workmanship and skills they exhibited to complete this job. All construction debris was hauled away, and they cleaned up their work area thoroughly. There was nothing for me to do once they were finished. They are deserving of the "A" rating they enjoy on Angies's List, and I'm pleased to add my "A"rating to Country Living Construction's collection. As a further nice touch, about a week or so later, I received a thank you note from them. This company is top notch.

GREAT!!! Had it ready for us to paint in great time.

The communication with John via phone and email was great; he is very prompt and precise in communications related to hardware, timing, etc. There was a crew of two who were on site for three and one-half days to remove old wood portico and reinstall new concrete board portico, install new screen doors and created a wider space in garage for a standard service door. The guys were quite professional working very full days and on-time; provided great clean-up daily, as well. The entry is fantastic! Neighbors have stopped by to comment on how nice the new portico, door and screen look. I feel that the house has a fresh exterior view. The front door was to be painted on the exterior side, so the door was with them for a week to be stripped, sanded, painted, etc. It is perfect; smooth (no brush strokes), and although not fully dry at install (high humidity that week), it was installed so I would have a more secure door over the weekend - no problems. John went beyond and refinished the interior side for me, as well and it is beautiful! I will definitely consider County Living Construction for other projects as they arise.

I wish the ratings went as high as A+, because I would certainly give A+ in all categories!! I called John Michael on Wednesday, 7-17-13 regarding the hole in our wall, and he indicated that Scott would probably be able to help us by the end of the week. Time was of the essence, since we are putting the house on the market for sale, so I spoke to John again on Thursday morning, and he arranged to have Scott come out that same afternoon! The job that Scott did was absolutely perfect, and when it dries, and my husband paints over the area, no one will ever know that there was any problem at all! Scott did a few other odd jobs for us while the various coats of new plaster material dried, and overall, we were EXTREMELY PLEASED with ALL the excellent work! We would not hesitate to recommend this company, and particularly the expertise and professionalism of Scott, to any of our friends and neighbors!

Went very well. Was on time. Was very professional. Prior to this project, I had a need to replace a service door and they were very experienced and knowledgeable and we felt very comfortable with their wor.

He was on-time, professional and friendly.

John came by shortly after we contacted him to evaluate the problem. He recommended a very conservative approach and first started with caulking a few areas in the shower that might be the problem. He didn't charge for this initial visit because he wasn't certain if the caulking would fix the problem. Unfortunately, it didn't fix it and John came back to go for a more drastic repair. He made several recommendations for the repair and we liked his approach so much that we asked him to look at a few other handyman things that needed to be done e.g. install cove molding, caulk behind a kitchen countertop, and finish a wood panel for us. Well, the leak has been fixed, the drywall has been patched, the molding installed, the countertop affixed more securely and caulked, the wood panel finished, and a bathroom cabinet modified. Everything looks great and still works great after several months. We're also in the process of purchasing a fixer-upper house which John Michael graciously "inspected" and provided valuable advice on how to remodel. We're definitely using him for that work.

Very professional. Excellent work. I was very pleased with all the work done and John's suggestions for other repairs around the house. I was not entirely pleased with how hard it was to contact him. After the initial consultation, it took weeks of unreturned phone calls on my part to set up a date. Other than that, I was pleased with the work.

They moved a location of my light switch. They were on time and clean in the work they had done. The tech they sent out did not know about electrical work as well as he should have. He made pinholes in my wall to see if the switch plate would fit in the location I had selected. He did not repair the pinholes and they are still there today.

I was quite satisfied with his work. He was here for six hours including time spent purchasing needed supplies for the needed work.

It turned out fine. We have used them before for a sun-room project. They were professional, and knowledgeable and cleaned up well after themselves. We have referred them to friends.
