Great qualty work. Carpenters came on time and got right to work. Great craftsmanship. Would not besitate call again if the need arises.

Installation went very well. Installers were on time and very courteous. They are a very professional crew. John was great to work with and extremely knowledgeable. He stopped by during the installation to check on the progress. They cleaned up the areas worked in very well also. I would definitely recommend their services.

Everything went perfectly. First, let me start by saying that we first used Country Living Construction way back in 1994 when they replaced all of the windows in our 1950's house with Marvin custom windows. And, the results were amazing and we were very impressed with their work and attention to detail. This recent project went equally as well. Their craftsmen are very professional and approachable in terms of considering options while the work was in process. In my 32 years of being a home owner, I can't think of a company I've ever done business with that approaches their level of expertise, professionalism, responsiveness and ease of doing business with. I really appreciate having someone that I can trust and will definitely use them for future projects. This is a top notch company in my opinion!

I sent them pictures and they said it would've taken more than 4 hours. when I asked how long the project would take, they said they would need to take measurements and that there are no free estimates (to come and take a look at the project). I would need to pay them an extra fee to tell me how much the dry walling was going to cost. at that, I wanted to have another company do the job.

They came when we were told and set up their equipment and went right to work. There were four workers and each one was doing a different job. They cut and installed new siding on two sides of our garage, repaired the door jamb of our side door, reinforced all four corners of the garage, installed small crown molding at the top on all sides. They also filled all the insect holes on the two sides that weren't resided and then stained the entire garage. They could not get the stain color that was originally on the garage, as we had asked, but were able to get a better type of stain where the color was very close to what we had. They checked with us first to make sure we were okay with the new color before proceeding. Two of the workers had to come back the next morning to finish the staining, but they were done by noon. They asked us to look over the entire garage to make sure we were satisfied before they packed up to go. We are very pleased with the results. Other than the garage looking brand new, you could never tell that they had been there. I am planning on calling them again to give me quotes on 3 additional projects for next year.

It looks looks a nice job. The holes were all patched and sanded smooth. They cleaned up very nicely, no mess at all when he finished.

Very happy and the repair has held for the first time in 20 years!

They cannot perform the services for two months. This is unacceptable.

The owner and two workers showed to do the work the day they were supposed to. They were fast, friendly, helpful knowlegeable and did a fantastic job. I've gotten an estimate to do more work!

Two men came to complete the job and they were punctual. They cleaned up well after completing the work. Everything turned our fine. We have used their services a few times now and will hire them for additional work.

John and his team are true professionals. They do quality work in a timely manner. Very happy with the the results and working with John.

The service provider responded promptly to inquiry as well as requested revisions to the scope of work. The provider also tried to be flexible for scheduling work although was unwilling to negotiate on cost. Due to distance I am unable to verify work was done at the rental property and trusted the information provided by the contractor was accurate. For replacing switch covers and repairing a kitchen drawer I was charged $200. I agreed to the price with the understanding the exit door was repaired as well. I was able to visit the property a month later and realized the only the switches and drawer were repaired by Country for $200. In my opinion the price was high for the work completed.

Very nice job. Hood and fan was installed within two hours. We had groupon for 3 hours. So John asked us if we had more repairs. This is very appreciated. He did not drag the time for 3 hours. Then he installed another fan. One of the spare parts did not fit and he came along to cvs to get it. Very satisfactory job. We are going to hire him again maybe next week.

Early to the appointment, excellent work, worked very cleanly, professional, and additional time charged was fair.

Nothing. after buying the big deal the company called and told me I lived to far away to make their time worth it.

The work was good but I do not feel I should have paid 2 people for 1 full day to get this done. Most of the time the second person was watching the first.

Country Living has two very competent workers (Scott and Gene) who work efficiently as a team and bring unique talent to each job. Scott does amazing wall board repair and Gene can cut most every thing to a high degree of exactness. I like that they can handle unwelcome surprises with calmness and can figure out solutions on the fly. A bad floor under the toilet was no problem for them; neither was a shower door bought not wide enough (my fault). I use to try and do my own handy work, but I wouldn't been able to match their skill and speed. I definitely would hire them again.

It went great and was timely. They were very professional.

It went very well. On time. It was a tricky ceiling because it's an old house and the walls etc. are not perfectly straight. Even with the challenges the work was very good and neat.

I had purchased two coupons for the service. One guy came over, and the service went well. The amount of work that I wanted to get done within 4 hours, wasn't within reason. He did a good job, and watching him work, he got a lot done, and wasn't messing around. He was a real professional guy, he set up outside, and didn't make a huge mess. He gave me the opportunity to clean up, while he did the trims, and I appreciated that.

If after reviewing the work needed, the Company thought the job was too small, I wouldn't have been offened to be told that. Never contacting me again is another thing.

Country Living Construction Group is local to our area (Waukegan) and John the owner was very prompt in scheduling an appointment to provide an estimate for the job. We were pleased with the estimate price that included an Angie?s List hourly rate discount that was being offered. Being a small company, it took a while to get into their schedule, but John was very accommodating since ours was a small job. Scott came to our house for a few hours over two days since the drywall needed to dry between coats. He was neat, organized, and did a great job. Since my work is more flexible than my husband?s, I was able to work from home during the time that Scott was here. There?s the balance of the necessity of having repairs done and the concern of having a contractor in your home. I was very happy that I had no worry with Scott in our home. He was all about business and very respectful. We definitely will keep Country Living Construction Group in our file for future repairs. They do a wide range of work in addition to handyman type services. The quality and customer service we received was awesome.

I had severe wood rot with my windows. The owner John was great to work with. He was very knowledgable and professional.. He gave me multiple scenerios about my windows about the cost, and procedures. The workers that came to install the windows were also very professional. I can't tell you enough how pleased I am with this company. I am in need of more window repairs but couldn't do it at this point. John was very sensitive to this. I will be calling him again in the spring to do more repairs.

It went very well. They were professional, on time and within budget. I would use them again.

Arrived on time. Made a thorough assessment of not just what I said I wanted, but what I was hoping to accomplish (i.e. I said I wanted tile replaced, but actually what I wanted was a use able front entry - they were able to restore what was already in place, but had been incompletely done but another person, which saved me time and money).
