The carpenter, Gene, did a nice job on the crown molding and the garage door trim. He did the work quickly and efficiently, with minimal dust, and his resulting work looked neat and professional. He tidied up carefully afterward.

Could not ask for a better price or experience.

He communicated nicely and was responsive, listened to what I had to say. We talked about another project and what the costs could be - alternatives to carpeting stairs. It was great, honest input which I appreciated greatly.

I love the work and how he came in and not only fixed the proposed but saw things that may need work and was ready and willing to correct any and all things broke. H***, I didn't want the guy to leave. He was a "Honey-do list super-doer".

Arrived on time. Sent me for parts so he could continue working. Knew what he was doing and didn't waste time. Also cleaned up after himself. Will use them again.

The serviceman arrived on time, set up his own equipment, measured, cut, and installed the baseboards, and cleaned up. He was organized and efficient. I will call this company again when I need remodeling.

We used their services for three hours of painting in one of our bed rooms as well as plastering work. They went above and beyond in services.

John came out for an evaluation & estimate. Told my wife the door and flooring we had already bought was wrong. I never heard from him again. No estimate, no call back, nothing. What a waste of time this company was. Interesting note: I had 2 other people come out for estimates and 1 do the work. I mentioned his comments about the wrong materials and both were surprised. One commented that maybe he wanted to use his own materials so he could make a few bucks on those items too. You be the judge of that.

Saw this company listed for the type of work I needed done. There were several favorable recommendations so decided to ask them for an estimate. Needed new basement flooring and repair of a wall that had water damage. No problem scheduling the estimate. John Michael arrived on time as scheduled. He provided some good suggestions and we decided to get an estimate on redoing the ceiling lighting in addition. It took about 4 days to get the estimate. It was a little more costly than we expected. I also got another estimate and then decided to just go forward on the ceiling repair. I signed the work order (couple wks after the original estimate), emailed it back and asking them to call me to schedule a time. Didn't hear back so called and left a message for John Michael but he still didn't respond so decided to pursue another company.

John Michael was very professional, I would absolutely use him again and I have recommended himto two friends who were also happy with his work. He is timely, thorough, neat, and has a lot of knowledgeto problem solve. I first tried him on an Angie's list deal and had him changing hinges and all kinds ofdifferent things. This was the second time that I used him. I would definitely recommend him.

I was looking for someone to remove and rechaulk our tub. I came across Country Living Construction here on Angie's List, and ended up paying in advance using one of the specials from Countries Website. I was a bit leary about doing this, since no one had looked at the tub yet, but it turned out great. John called within a few days to schedule an appointment to do the job. We decided on 7:30 AM and he was right on time. After going over our options, he spent better then three hours getting the job done. He took a mess, made some repairs, rechaulked, and now it looks new again. He knew what he was talking about and wasted no time in getting the job done right. Very clean, professional and prompt. My wife and I are both very happy with the job and are already coming up with other work we'd like him to quote on. So stay tuned.

I used an Angie's List deal for the work. They did very good work. They did what they were asked to do and in a pretty timely fashion. I would say they did a nice job. They were very knowledgeable and seemed like they were doing it for a really long time. They were able to provide information on anything I asked about and give directions.

We wanted to build additional storage in our garage, in order to create long-term storage for items which we would rarely use. Initially we thought that it would be suspended from the ceiling with chains bolted into the ceiling joists. Country Living advised us that the joists were not designed to withstand the added weight we would be adding, as this storage area was going to be about 16' long and 4' deep. Instead, they designed a system which was fastened to the side walls on two sides and by a 4 x 4 post at one end. All of the actual work was performed in one day. The workmen were prompt, courteous and did an excellent job.

Excellent job. Jon Michael was down to earth. They cleaned up after themselves. They were here one day to work and another day to clean up. They covered everything when they started painting. They were just outstanding I was very pleased with their work. As someone who doesn't know what remodeling entails it was a pleasure working with them.

Their work turned out great. The technician who arrived was very clean in regards to his work, and he thoroughly explained the process to me. I really appreciated his professionalism.

It all went very well. The owner thoroughly explained the hows and whys of what he was doing. He arrived when he said he would, and I thought he was very professional and pleasant. In fact, a few days after work was completed, I received a personalized thank-you note in the mail. I feel his workmanship is high quality, and I certainly feel comfortable recommending this company to others.

This guy is a professional from start to finish. He was worth every penny and then some. His expertise and attention to detail is very hard to find these days. John is a perfectionist even if it ends up costing him time/financially. I have already contacted him for round two of the next batch of projects. At no time did he ever try to up-sell me. If anything, he made suggestions some of which were more financially beneficial to me then to himself.

John Michael was terrific! We purchased 2 Big Deals from him, entitling us to 6 hours of handyman work for $198.00. He was so great that we asked him to come back a second day and paid him an hourly rate to have some more work done. John was punctual, extremely competent, personable and trustworthy. I will definitely use him again!

He was awesome; he was just amazing. He did a great job for me. He was prompt, professional, and very skilled. The job turned out to be a little more complicated than i had thought. He came out one day and returned on another day. I would highly recommend him. The cost included the additional cost of $100 towards material cost. It was a fair price. I would use his services again in the future.

He had to replace fascia that was eaten up by squirrels, he removed and replaced a gutter, he repaired a service door and lock and replaced the "sweep" at the bottom of our garage door. He was very personable, knowledgeable, easy to deal with, punctual and the work was good quality. I was very happy with him all around.

It was one of the Big Deals for 3 hours for $99. I only used him for handyman services but he seems to have a full service company. He was a very, very, very nice guy. He seemed very thorough and kept offering to do extra things but we didn't have enough time to do that. I would definitely use him again. It took him much longer than both of us anticipated.

I only dealt with one person who I think was the owner. He was very good. He came in and examined various jobs around the house. He got everything accomplished within 6 hours. The only thing I did learn is that the materials he supplied he had to leave and go buy which was part of the time. The materials brought the costs up 20% to about $90. I just don't know if that was reasonable or not - I suppose it was. The one thing I learned is that he was nice enough of to extend the 3 hours for $100 because of the materials. Next time I will have all the materials purchased before he arrives. He was busy for the full 6 hours. I'm going to use him again to do work on this house. I think he was reasonable. He accomplished everything we had asked him to accomplish in about 6 hours.

I was very satisfied. He was prompt, polite, knowledgeable. He did a good quality job on the repair we had him do which he replaced the door to our shed.

We have been using them for quite awhile. They have given us outstanding service and the quality of the workmanship is excellent. Their pricing is very reasonable. They follow up with you after the work is done. They handle everything very professionally.
