First of all, these guys were patient with me because I had to reschedule and was very limited in my window of time to perform the work. John worked with me and was patient with me as well. I had a ceiling on my second floor that an electrician cracked by stepping on it from the attic. The ceiling is textured plaster which is very, very difficult to patch. I also had a hole in a wall where I had removed a motion sensor for my alarm system. John sent Scott over to take a look at the job and let me know if my $99 coupon for 3 hours of work would cover it. Scott said he could do it, but it would be close. When the date came, Scott came on time and worked almost 4.5 hours! He draped off the entire area around the ceiling being repaired and was very professional. His attention to detail was astounding. I hope John and Scott read this and know that I consider the work Scott did an act of artistry. He repaired the crack to the point where I cannot even tell that the plaster had even been damaged!! The fact that he stayed 4.5 hours instead of just doing the ceiling and leaving the hole in the wall was proof that he and John take their business seriously. I was not charged for the additional time, but when I call them back for more work, I intend on taking care of Scott because this type of contractor is a rare find and they deserve to be recognized and appreciated. The experience with Country Living Construction Group Ltd. worked out very well. They didn't charge anything in addition to the big deal purchase. They came in and they did a very good job. They were polite and they did what needed to be done.

It went very well. He did a nice job. It looks better than the original door. John, the owner, is very detailed and meticulous in performing the work. He is very professional.

The employees were neat, tidy, respectful and most importantly, timely. They were at our house when they said that they would be and quickly completed their work. The work was quality work.

Two carpenters came and stayed approx 6.5 hours. They had to remove drywall in our garage ceiling to gain access to the 2nd floor bedroom and also remove drywall to gain access to underneath the stairs. After using glue and screws they were able to successfully stop the squeaking. They then redrywalled and used tape/mud to repair the areas that were affected. I couldn't be more happier-I would definitely use their services again!

They are really good. They gentleman was wonderful, his wife, the office and everything. The service was very good service. I would recommend him. I would use them again.

The experience was very good. John came out and gave us an estimate. We did the project when Spring came around and were very happy with the results.

John was exceedingly flexible in scheduling and completing repairs. He was punctual and professional. All work was completed promptly and to our complete satisfaction. I would definitely hire him again.

We needed to replace a suspended ceiling in the basement of our home. The home was contracted in 1967 and has low height clearances -- and as in many older homes -- very little in the way of level floors or walls. We purchased coupon for a day of Handyman Services to get the job started. John visited our home to review the work we wanted done -- we agreed on the scope of the project and soon had a date scheduled for work to start. I removed the old ceiling and bought the materials for the new one. Gene and Scott showed up promptly on the scheduled date and over two days worked within very tight clearances to install a beautiful new ceiling. They cleaned up each day and were very tolerant of our new kitten's desire to help with the project. During the construction I found a great deal on two interior doors and added their installation to the project. The new doors go great with the ceiling and both were finished with exceptional attention to detail. I have already recommended Countryside to some friends thinking about a project and would bring them back to my house as well.

Country Living was excellent: timely in appointment setting and follow-through, neat in their work, up front about estimates (and accurate to them!), and forthright in their recommendations on other activities or work they might recommend. We will definitely consider them for a planned future remodeling effort, as they evidenced the kind of integrity and commitment to excellence in their work we like and respect.

We called in the morning and were surprised that someone was available to do it the same day. He came out a couple hours later, was very neat and professional and cleaned up after himself. The only negative that I have is that they weren't clear about which materials were included in their "Big Deal". It said that inexpensive materials not including drywall were included, but at the end they tried to charge us for the plaster used.

Everything was wonderful. I thought they were a great company to work with. The estimate and contact were professional and clearly stated. The work was performed on time. He did a few extra small things while here. The service was great and they were very skilled and professional. The owner did the work himself.

The person who came was super. He did a fantastic job. He came up with cheaper ways to fix things than I had. The quality was outstanding. I would use them anytime they were so great.

John Michael, from Country Living Construction arrived on time and immediately began working on my projects. The wall sconces needed modifications in order to be installed and John knew exactly what to do to get them working. He also gave good advice on other things like having dimmers installed and what light bulbs would give optimum lighting in the area. After one project was completed he cheerfully went on to tackle the next project. He was very conscientious about each and every project treating them as if they were all very important. He patiently answered all of my questions and explained what he was doing on each project. Overall he did an excellent job and I would definately like to have him back to work on other projects.

We needed tile and wallboard repair in one of our showers. John took notes on this and did attic repairs. Unfortunately, he recommended an entire bathroom remodel. He sent a very professional estimate dated 12-14-2011, which totaled $3,905.00. He and his company did call back a few times over the following months. We were unable to afford anything more than repair on the tiles at that time and felt we didn't want to continue to tie up his time and travel over the longer than normal distance to our home. We would consider working with Country Living Construction Group Limited within the scope and parameters of what we need and can afford at that time.

no work done.... John came to my home to give me a estimate on repairing my bay window andI planned on using the Big Deal 2 hours purchased thru Angies List. He told me that he would need his employee to advise him on whether the window could be repaired or whether I needed to be replace the window. John walked around my home and advised my on other home repairs I needed and sent me a estimate of $2900.00 for misc work I needed done. Country Living called me shortly after that to see if I wanted any of the work done from estimate. I said no and would call them back to use my 2 hours for Big Deal. I later called Country Living to use my 2 hours of Handyman work and I did not get a call back.
