They did more than did just touchups. They essentially put a full coat on all effected walls. The place looks amazing and went way beyond my expectations. They also filled in any digs and nail holes. I certainly got a ton of value for the price. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat. Its great to have a local reliable service for painting. Highly recommended!!

Jonathan and his crew do an exceptional and professional job. I have used them 4 times for both interior and exterior painting. Here are a few observations that make them my "go to" painters. Always punctual, lay down plenty of cover cloths in all areas they work in, prep works makes all the difference...patch and repair all wall defects, and if they miss anything between coats they repair and newly discovered issues, keep you informed of their progress and ask if there is anything else that needs to be addressed, work very efficiently, great at clean up. Finally, it is about the quality of the finished product. Paint lines are always crisp, baseboards have no residual paint on them and I do not need to inspect for quality control as they hold themselves to very high standards. Its a pleasure to work with them.

It went great! The paint looks great, they did striping on one wall, its perfect, they did abstract triangle in the other room, they were very patient with me and adding triangle haha. The dining room is really beautiful and very well done. We are very happy.

Jonathon was outstanding in all regards. He was punctual in giving us a quotatation along with the potential for additional costs in the project. His team was courteous and kept the work areas clean and were great about moving and removing items necessary to paint around. The quality of the work was great and Jonathon is focused on ensuring you are happy with the work. Would definately use them again and suggest them to anyone with painting needs.

We had a gap around the top of a new light fixture was installed in our foyer. Touchstone was able to do a very good job at repairing the ceiling and then re-painting the ceiling. The job came in under the original estimate.

This is the third time I have used Touchstone and will never use anyone else. Jonathan and his crew are professional, punctual, and courteous. The work that they do is beautiful and well worth the money! Jonathan was very flexible with us as we had some unplanned changes in the project. We had a hard deadline to move into a home and he made sure that the painting got done before we moved! You will not be disappointed!

They did an excellent job. The pay close attention to details and make sure the job is done perfectly. They respond quickly when you contact them. We have used them 3 or 4 times now and this was the first time we had exterior painting done and we were not disappointed.

I have worked with Touchstone before and would work with them again. They are highly professional and are excellent painters. Jonathan (owner) came out promptly to meet and review the work. We discussed projects I could handle and work he and his team could perform. It took a while to get on his calendar, but once the work started, he and his helper were able to complete the work in about a week, which was very reasonable. He always confirmed the night before he was coming the next day and was prompt to arrive. Each night, the job site was cleaned up and reassembled so we could go about our business.

Jonathan and team once again exceeded expectations. We hired them in 2012 for a major interior re painting project (also an "A" review) and picked them for this outdoor re-staining project without hesitation. The entire team prides itself on perfection, even rechecking each other's work with great team chemistry. They arrive on time, stay late as needed and work non-stop. They are intelligent and interesting people that love what they do. We look forward to hiring them again for future projects. Other painters are out there for a little less money but we value quality people and pride in workmanship above all else and Touchstone will bring that to you.

They did a great job! We chose some difficult colors to work with and everything looks perfect. In addition to painting the walls, they touched up the trim to make nice clean lines. We could not be any happier with the work.

Never returned our calls...did not use

A technician was working in the attic and put his foot through the ceiling. He left a large hole in the ceiling drywall. I sent a desperate call for help to Touchstone Painting and in less than a week they came and fixed the ceiling. The work was performed in a day and looks perfect -- absolutely no evidence that a gaping hole existed in the ceiling. I highly recommend Touchstone Painting -- they are extremely customer service oriented and do excellent work.

This was a difficult job and it could not have gone any more smoothly than it did. The family room and kitchen had previously been faux-finished and were a glazed, dark terra cotta color. The problem was that we wanted the walls yellow. Jonathan told us when he came to estimate the job that covering the old color would take two coats of primer and at least two coats of paint. He also worked with me to select a shade of yellow that would allow him to get an optimal result in painting over the terra cotta. In addition to the terra cotta walls, the job encompassed three new walls, two of which needed to be primed and painted mid-construction, and a new 10' ceiling over 1/2 the space (the old kitchen) also primed and painted mid-construction. Jonathan was extremely cooperative and flexible to schedule the painting work so that it did not cause even a single day of lost construction time while our kitchen was renovated. He also did a fabulous job of matching new stains to our old floor and to our new cabinets. Staining one length of baseboard was especially tricky because it had been installed adjacent to a brand new porcelain tile floor and needed to be stained in place. Finally, Jonathan was extremely sensitive to the fact that 1/2 of the space in which he was working was the only room available for eating and watching television during our renovation. Each night during the project he returned our furniture to place so the room could be used in the evening. Giant blowers ensured that each wall was dry within moments of being painted. Jonathan stayed out of the way of other workers on site and did not complain when others were in his way, instead quietly moving on to a different area.

Jonathan and Josiah did an absolutely amazing job! They did the most beautiful trimwork in my dining room, and added decorative molding. Wonderful work, and I highly recommend them.

Showed up on time, delivered as promised, was exceptionally careful with painting lines and protecting carpet and furniture. Couldn't recommend them any higher.

Great job all around! Very responsive, very detailed, and the job was well done. I will be hiring them to do the rest of my house. The room had tape and corner beading repairs that needed to be done and it looks really great! I am very excited to see the rest of my home completed. Professional, insured and very detailed. Quoting process was informative and forward. Staff was personable and trustworthy. There were no surprises, they take pride in the work and we are glad we chose them. Now we take pride in that room!

Jonathon was very responsive to our initial call and immediately set up an appointment to give an estimate for the work. He was extremely professional and fair in his estimate, but above all, I could really tell that he had a great deal of pride in his work and in his business. He kept in constant contact with me prior to the work being done as well as during the project itself. Our repairs were done by one of his guys, Josiah, which took 2 days. Any manager would want to have 10 Josiahs! When he started working, he simply didn't stop. He worked efficiently and with great attention to detail. Jonathon texted me throughout the project to find out how things were going and then followed by asking if we were happy with the results. He's very attentive to his customers, that's one of the many reasons I would recommend Touchstone Painting. We were certainly more than happy with the results of the job and with the entire process. If you're looking for a painting company, you need to call this guy. I can't imagine anyone that would be less pleased with the work than we were.

This is the third time this company was here. As always, Josiah brought a smile to our face. He is courteous, professional, CLEAN, and he really pays attention to details. I feel he does just great work and at a reasonable price for such a quality. Our basement looks so nice and new now. I highly recommend this company with no reservation.

Jonathan and his crew did an excellent job. We spent time together to walk through the house and discuss the project. He was accommodating in helping us with some minor installations. The work was done as planned - no surprises. The project was performed with high quality, attention to detail and completed on time. They left the house neat and tidy.

Johnathan did a very good quality job. The kitchen ceiling was bad in spots due to leaking of the skylight. He actually had to do more work that first thought. He did it well, I actually point it out to visitors. He also repaired a closet ceiling and painted several door frames and a bedroom window. I am very pleased with his quality and the clean up as he went.

The painting quality is excellent. Beautiful finish. Very efficient with time, gave me the paint cans labeled at the end of job. Timing was an issue for the outside work which was delayed due to an excessively rainy spring. I believe this resulted in a backlog for Touchstone. Outside work was anticipated for May but ended up happening in later June/July.

Requested an estimate to have our garage, porch and shed painted. Jonathan responded to my email and informed me that his schedule was pretty busy and that he was waiting on a few quotes to come back. He followed up with me a week later to inform me that he was not able to fit me in his scheduled but referred me to another painting company. I really appreciated his response and him going the next level by at least providing me with a referral since he was not available. That says a lot about him and his company. I really appreciated that. I will definitely consider Jonathan if I ever need a painting project in future.
