The project was completed on time and in a very professional manner. The gentleman Ottis that provided us the estimate was very thorough and fast. The painting team was great. I would definitely use them again. The costs were also a lot less than other estimtes we had.

Tony was extremely responsive, returning calls promptly and addressing any issues of questions we had. His crew was professional, and did a thorough job. All unit owners were pleased with the results, and with the very competitive price. I am glad we chose CertaPro, would do so again, and Tony and his staff and crew were all great to work with.

The job included hanging wallpaper. The person hanging the paper did not know what he was doing. He did not know how to calculate how much wallpaper was needed for each room. He did not know how to paper around a corner. In one bath the pattern did not match, the seams were not glued, the edges were not cut evenly. The other bath the pattern did not match, the seams were not cut evenly, the edges and paper were not glued and the caulking was not smooth. The person that came out to correct the problem did an OK job given the condition of the job. He has to come back again (second time) to re glue the paper in one of the bathrooms. They had a completion schedule but did not have enough people on the job to meet it(it was their schedule not mine). Their painting and wall prep was OK. They cleaned up OK. They clearly do not know wallpapering. If you need wallpapering get someone else. I initially was going to have them do 6 rooms on the first floor but canceled the job.

The job took 3 days. The powerwash was done the first day, which is to wash away dirt prior to painting. The painting was on the second day and was close to being done by the end of that day. The painters came back on the third day to finish the painting and replace the rotten wood. However, the painters found that there was water leaking from the gutters in the two corners where there was rotten wood and found a third corner where there appeared to be a gutter leak too. So, instead of performing the replacement of the rotten wood, CertaPro gave me a credit on the total cost. I hired a gutter specialist to finish the job, which included removing the gutters and replacing the wood fascia and soffit. CertaPro had given me the leftover paint, so I was able to finish the painting myself on the new primed wood. Overall, CertaPro did an excellent job painting the house and they alerted me to the gutter leaks including a third corner that did not yet have rotten wood.

This company has done work for me twice now, and I won't be hiring them again. Their prices seemed low, but you get what you pay for apparently. First, note that each Certapro company is different. Don't be fooled by the other Certapro offices' better reviews. When I first hired them, they did some exterior paint and power washing work for me. During the estimate visit, their sales guy promised as part of the fixed cost estimate, I could have whatever I wanted around the exterior power washed , including the driveway, patio, rocks, etc. On the day of the job however, they reneged and told me I would have to pay hourly for the power washing. When they did the power washing, they sprayed mud all over the side of my house and left it that way for me to later clean up myself. They also dumped paint onto my grass and left it there. One would think I wouldn't hire them again after this experience, so "shame on me." I thought from the positive reviews I'd seen all over for Certapro that maybe I just had a fluke bad experience. Think twice. I had a small interior paint job for them. They included paint in the estimate but then ended up using my paint I had left out for reference (and without asking), only adjusting the invoice after I pointed this out. They missed a wall that we had discussed, and was clearly marked--never stopping to try to clear the confusion. They left my curtains outside uncovered on the deck along with their garbage, where they were rained on and ruined. They didn't even ask if I wanted to keep them (I incidentally didn't') but had to carry water soaked moldy curtains and their garbage to the curb. Caveat emptor!

I have used CertaPro in the past and they continue to meet my expectations. First of all, I needed assistance with selecting colors for the rooms. Emily was so amazing in not only providing me with a detailed estimate, but also helping me in selecting colors. Her vision and knowledge in color encouraged me to look at colors I never would have considered. The results were fantastic. The 2 man crew that did the work were friendly, professional and detail oriented. Before they started, they reviewed the work order and color selections. They patched up everything well and covered the floors and furniture to ensure no splatters. They worked diligently, did a great job and cleaned up beautifully.

I contacted CertaPro to give me a quote for exterior painting of my front door and facia boards and soffit based on the number of A Angies List reviews. It was one of 4 estimates I requested. It took a telephone call and numerous emails and more than a week to schedule the person to come out and provide an estimate. I was shocked to receive an estimate that listed painting of my stucco and window frames because my house is not made out of stucco - it is dryvit and does not get painted (which I had explained when setting up the estimate) - the same is true for the window frames, yet the price for painting the window frames was part od the quote. I also explained that I simply needed anew coat of paint to match, and yet the estimate included an additional optional charge of close to $2000 to paint a second coat to change the color. Between the difficultly of setting up the estimate and the complete lack of expertise of the person who gave the estimate I have elected to go in a different direction. I presume CertaPro are excellent given the professional mateirals they provided and the Angies List ratings and that I simply had an inexperienced person come out to give an estimate. I suggest that they do a better job training the estimators.

Ottis, the owner came to give me the intial estimate. He was very candid and gave me his professional opinion which I appreciated. My objective was to give the apartment a fresh and updated look since I was selling it. I wanted the apartment to measure up to the competition. What I liked is that he sent a color consultant that really helped me select a color that was used in a lot of new contruction and thus made my apartment look more "current". The job was done in 3 days and there was no damage whatsoever to my furniture or flooring. The pricing was very competitive. I had to have some things redone and or retouched and they came over and redid them. I did find that the response was a bit slow but I was in no rush at all so I didn't care. If I were to stay in the property, I would have asked for an extra day to make sure that everything is to my liking. I am a bit fastidious so there are a lot of things I would have "touched up" and or redone but I really didn't want to spend much more money since I am really not going to live in the property and just wanted it to look great, which was accomplished. They painted a 2,000 sf apartment, walls, and ceiling. The living room has 17ft ceilings, so it was a lot of wall and ceiling area as well as the difficulty of painting a ceiling that is 17ft high. Overall, they did a good job, the price was very competitive, they were very professional and courteous, and offered great advice and color direction. Good value for your money.

Great. Quality was top notch and price was fair.

The crew was always prompt, courteous and helpful. Considerate when inside the house. Cleaned up each day after work. Replaced all the screens and storms before leaving. Helpful in solving double hung window problems discovered as they worked. Called afterwards to ensure we were satisfied with the work.

It was fabulous. It took about five days and we were in the house as they were painting. They were extremely reliable, were very on time, always had a great crew and they were very neat. At the end of each day they made sure we walked through together so that they could show us exactly what they had done that done and to see if we had any concerns or anything that we needed touch-ups on. We had lots of trouble with one wall just because of moisture issues and they went over it, and over it, and over it, and did a fabulous job. They were great. They weren?t the lowest and they weren?t the highest but their price was very reasonable.

We needed the rooms to be painted rather on a short notice and the Certapro Painters were able to accommodate our schedule - great. The beginning was very promising: Jack came, measured rooms and send us the proposal on the same day. The next day Michael called to schedule the job. Rooms were painted in two days. Fast job, but the quality was far from what one expects when a job is done by professionals. There were quite a few flaws and a lack of attention to detail. Certapro Painters sent another crew for a day to correct mistakes made by the original crew. New crew was better and did their best to make the job right and improve the results, but correcting a poorly done job by someone else is a more difficult task than doing it right from the beginning, so they did what they could. We appreciate Certapro Painters for following up with us and trying to make the job right very much. Their customer service is great.

We scheduled a time to meet to discuss exterior painting of my home. I took off of work to meet waited for an hour and the rep didn't show. I called and they could not find me on their schedule. I did not pursue this any further.

The guys were on time and did a great job. They also cleaned up so I did not have to.

We had a terrible experience with CertaPro. We would definitely not recommend them to anyone. We hired CertaPro to paint our house before we moved in. They promised us they would be finished before our move-in date. Well, they decided to take the weekend off, and when we went to inspect the house before after they were "finished," we were furious with the results. The lines were very sloppy - ceiling paint, wall paint, and trim paint were all over the place. They were supposed to tape before they painted, but it was painfully obvious, they were lazy and did not. There were drip marks in multiple places (walls, outlet covers, and floors). We had installed a brand new utility sink which they covered with paint splashes. They also managed to splash paint on the newly painted laundry room wall and the new washing machine! We had them do second coats on all the walls, and in two of the bedrooms, we still saw the previous white paint seeping through. They failed to replace the blinds in one room and multiple outlet covers throughout the house. They got paint on the skylights. They painted the attic door shut - so when we went to open it, the door cracked. They failed to paint a couple places in the kitchen. Their only saving grace was Tom (and his partner) who fixed the sloppiness of Juan's crew. They spent two days fixing the mistakes. They were still working on the house when the movers arrived. We are still finding things that could have been better, but we are done with CertaPro and definitely would not recommend them to anyone --- except Tom.

Wrong advice for type of paint to use. The office and the people who actually did the job were complete disconnected. I am still not convinced that the workers did everything I paid for.

It went exactly the way the said it would.

Very positive experience. Work was done when expected; clean up was done up daily. Workers were courteous and helpful.

Prompt and efficient. Quickly redid small areas that were not to our satisfaction. Very neat. Got job done quickly with a 3 man crew.

CertaPro did a fabulous job repainting my 136 year old victorian home. Toni was prompt, friendly and responsive during the quote and color choosing process. She responded quickly when I asked for clarification or additions to the scope of work. Their quote was the lowest of three contractor bids. They are also unusual because there was no upfront payment. Tony, the owner, came out on the first day of work and occasionally during the job to make sure things were going smoothly. Emil and his crew did a thorough and exacting job of prep, and painting. My home has intricate trim and a lot of detail that was painted beautifully! They were friendly and cleaned up every day. Emil was good about clarifying which colors and finishes I wanted on the trim and flooring. The porch floors were sanded, painted and look like new. I'm very happy with the finished product and with the experience of working with CertaPro.

Tony, his project managers, and his painters are the best in the business. Frankly, I feel that they are one of the best overall service providers I've encountered, regardless of area of specialty. They held our hand throughout the process as we addressed issues and made necessary changes throughout. Tony was helpful, patient, and flexible. They have a REAL warranty, included in your contract. It is a legal document, not a "handshake". I have no doubt that if we have any issues or followup needs, Tony and his team will quickly get it fixed any time during our lengthy warranty period. We are quite happy with the finished product. I would strongly recommend Tony for any painting job you may have. My experience was superb. I would like to nominate them for a Super Service Award.

I was under a time crunch as my husband and I were moving back into our condo after 4 years of living abroad. CertaPro quickly and efficiently surveyed what we needed done, answered my questions, wrote up a detailed spec and scheduled the services. The men arrived on-time as promised, we reviewed the job specifications and I clarified a few details. They did a great job while being very courteous, friendly and professional. I will use them again the next time I need painting services.

It was an excellent experience. They were prompt, friendly and competent. Lovely work.

Certa Pro Painters did a very nice job and the price was reasonable. It was about 15% less than the other price quotes we had. The proposal that they gave us was so detailed that it had pictures of the entire building and with arrows they marked what was included or what was not included. There was no question about what they were going to do. They worked very neatly with four people and did exactly what they said they were going to do. We signed another contract so Certa Pro Painters are going to do some more work for us in the building too.

It was great! I went through about 4 other painters. I really do think they were the best.
