Everything was fine. They were on time and they did the job properly and were very polite. They were forward with what they were going to do and cleaned up well after themselves. The prices were reasonable also.

They did a really good job cleaning the windows; everything looked really nice. They were very thorough and professional. Everything looked great when they left. I thought the pricing was good.

I cannot say enough about McMahon--they were incredible. They sent out a team of four men who worked in pairs, one on an inside window, the second on the outside of the window. They were prompt, professional, and they did an excellent job! The windows are spotless!

We hired McMahon after reading the reviews on Angie's List and were very pleased with the service. Other than feeling a bit nickeled-and-dimed over the removal of decorative grates from our windows, I felt their pricing was fair overall. The team was punctual and did excellent work. We will absolutely hire them again.

Telephone contact with company on Monday was very professional. I requested windows to be done this week (party on Sunday). Responded that they might be able squeeze me in on Wednesday. Called back in less than 10 minutes and confirmed Wednesday appointment and advised of on-going $10.00 off promotion. Showed up slightly ahead of time and completed work in a timely and professional manner. A+ in my book!

The windows were cleaned to our satisfaction. Screens were purchased last year. If you were to look at the frames you would never know they were knew due to all the scratches. Screens were smeared with dirt not sure how cleaning created that look. Screens were not put back in windows. One screen was damaged in that it was ripped,.

Update: We just read the GM's response to our review about our recent experience with this company. It's too bad that he didn't get all of his facts straight and he was so defensive. Our expectations were reasonable, we presented a balanced picture of the events and we stand behind our report. Our advice to this GM: Sometimes, things don't go smoothly. As a company with an "outstanding reputation" to protect, consider this a customer satisfaction learning opportunity and you may find that your company will be better than outstanding. Then you'll have truly earned your "A" ratings. Our Original Review: First, I wish that there were ways to nuance the ratings since this story is complicated. Anyway, here it goes: I had worked with McMahon in the past and that experience had been okay. So, I thought I would go back and with all of the glowing Angie's List reviews, I figured, "What could go wrong?" Well... My first crew showed up promptly for our appointment. In my experience with service providers, it is customary to briefly review the work to be done and discuss any special requests such as where to throw out used cleaning supplies, etc. However, the foreman of the first crew was not interested in having any discussion with us at all! Despite the fact that we were the customers and he was in our home, he insisted that because he had 11 years of professional experience, our input was not necessary and he was not going to review anything with us! He just wanted to march into our home and get to work! However, we did insist. Within 5 minutes of arriving, he'd left our house and driven away with his assistant. (I can't say I was sorry since I wouldn't have wanted him in my home after that exchange. His assistant, on the other hand, was very pleasant and was clearly uncomfortable with his co-worker's behavior. I certainly hope that he has been re-assigned to another crew.) After the men left, I called the company and told the office staff worker what had happened. She relayed the story to an area manager, who called me back in a timely manner and was able to offer us another crew later in the day. I'll admit, I was surprised that the manager did not first inquire about what had happened at the beginning of our call. As he said, we are the customers and they rely on our satisfaction for their business. Instead, the initial focus seemed to be on getting me a new crew and the fact that the crew foreman was probably just having a bad day. I am not unsympathetic to these things - it just strikes me as a backward approach to dealing with customer issues. So, we were able to get another crew and the manager was very diligent about calling us until the new crew arrived. While there were some language barriers, the foreman on this crew was pleasant and took the time to check in with us about the job. If I had additional requests as the work was being done, he was very accommodating. When we ran into some glass that was difficult to clean due to oxidization from some metal screens, I thought we resolved this pretty well. There was a lot of work to be done and while it was clear that they had already put in a long day and they were running over-time, the guys worked steadily. Overall, they were both very nice guys. However, being very nice and accommodating does not necessarily mean that these guys have been taught well or mastered the aspects of their trade. For example, they did not seem to know how to operate windows which can be cleaned from the inside even after I pointed these windows out to the foreman. After the men left, as I began to put my house back in order, I had a chance to look at the work more closely. This is when I discovered that window sills and window framework were still grey with dirt (especially the ones that were cleaned toward the end of the work period), there were grey water drips on my walls and woodwork, and there was loose dirt and bug carcasses still lying in the window wells! During the work, I had asked the foreman at least 3 times if they wanted to get clean water but every time I asked, he told me that their water was still clean! As it turns out, I should have insisted! The water was most likely black with dirt! As for the the loose dirt and bug remains, why aren't these guys issued with small vacuum cleaners? At the very least, I could have loaned them mine. It seems like this might actually enhance the overall cleaning service and make the workers' jobs easier. As it turns out, I ended up walking around for almost an hour with a rag and a vacuum cleaner and cleaning up after these guys! Not exactly what I'd expected after I'd shelled out $200 (after a $20 discount for our inconvenience) plus a 15% tip for each guy! So I guess I've learned that lots of great reviews aren't everything. It's still "Buyer Beware". And, needless to say, I will be looking for window cleaning services elsewhere next time.

Overall, they were polite and prompt but did not do a thorough job on windows and left a mess from the power washing. I picked this firm from Angie's List ratings. I guess I have a different idea of quality or I caught them on a bad day.

McMahon was very easy to schedule with, and the cleaning crews arrived exactly on time at both locations that I used them at. They could have been a little more careful handling the wood blinds when they needed to raise and lower them, but overall they were extremely fast and the windows look great !

I was able to set up the appointment for the same week I called. The crew arrived when expected and had finished the job within a half hour. They had the debris bagged and they placed it were I indicated. They were pleasant to deal with and did an excellent job. With all the rain we have gotten since then, the gutters have worked perfectly.

The crew arrived in the timeframe estimated. Two of them worked inside while one worked out. They took their shoes off inside which was much appreciated. They did a walk thru to confirm which windows/storms/screens I wanted cleaned and provided a detailed estimate before starting any work. I had ALL windows from basement to the second floor and many had storm windows and screens (triple track). A few windows had been rather difficult to get the triple tracks raised and lowered but they were persistent and very, very careful. I had a crack in one window and they made sure I was aware of it before they cleaned it. I thought the price was very fair. They worked very hard. They thought it would take between 2 and 3 hours and they were done in two and a half. I will be using them again for sure!

The team of three arrived on schedule and completed the work in less that 2 hours. We had already removed all the screens and mullions to speed the process and to protect the fragile mullions. They put down towels to catch any drips and in the end left no mess behind. We inspected the windows and they all were clean. This is the second time we have used L A McMahon to clean our windows and last year we had them clean our gutters. Their service has been fast and excellent. We also were able to use the Angie's List coupon on every cleaning.

When I called over the phone - I just scheduled a cleaning and anticipated a quote at the time of service. When the cleaners arrived, they provided me a quote that wasn't a nickle and dime approach - they didn't count every window and then price it out per window. Instead the price was set based upon a range of windows. One look at the house and they were able to give me a price right on the spot. It took them about 1 and 1/2 hours to clean windows in and out - they also cleaned out the sills. One cleaner worked on the outside while the other worked on the inside. We hadn't had the windows cleaned for quite some time and their attention to detail was great. The one draw back was that they forgot to clean about 4 of the windows - just the exterior of the screened portion of the window. I should have checked more closely before they departed. Again, the cleaning madea world of difference.

The arrived on time, did an excellent job. The windows are old and not all move in good order. The men were very efficient, clean, and left all in very good order. And the windows sparkle. I will defintely use them again and would recommend them.

David and his helper arrived on time and were very professional. I showed them what I needed them to do and they worked carefully and quickly and did an outstanding job. I plan to use them again when I have our screens cleaned.
