Description of Work: This company is so easy to work with - they truly are a phone call away. I called October 15 to get a granite counter top installed before the end of the month. They measured within 2 days and the counter top was delivered and installed on October 26. I will continue to use them to upgrade apartments.

We called and they came out and resealed the countertop! | |All is good! And if we do anything else again, I would call them again. | |

Description of Work: I needed a small table top. They had a large selection of remnants to choose from and the price was reasonable. They made a mistake, but they quickly acknowledged it and rectified the mistake right away.

Description of Work: I found Precision Stone Design accidentally, while at a nearby stone wholesaler. They had the same unique granite I found at the warehouse, but I didn't have to go thru my third-party vendor, Stone City, who's responsiveness and sales staff was terrible. The overall counter install and removal of my existing granite/sink was A+. The sales staff here was very nice...but I ended up following up on things myself a lot, was given incorrect information on how many slabs were included in my original purchase, and missed my original install date due to receiving my digital layout 2 hours before they needed final approval. My install date was a month after I signed my contract and 2 weeks after they came out to measure. | |I would still use them again as the final quality and workmanship is what matters, but your overall experience will depend on the sales rep you end up with.

Description of Work: I bought a deal for Precision Stone in Elk Grover Village, IL for $189. I tried applying it to the quote I had from them and was told that the quote I was provided had an in-store promotional deal that was better than the $189 Angie's List deal. I'd like to return the Angie's List deal and get a refund.

Description of Work: Not much of anything...They showed up late, verbally gave not very detailed opinions of how we could design our bathroom and then left. We never received a drawing and have not heard from the company since.

Description of Work: We had a quartz kitchen counter installed. There was a slight problem that they came right out and fixed. Amanda took care of us from the beginning of our search for the right material to the completion of the work, and she was wonderful. Everyone was great to work with.

Description of Work: Although they have a good selection and the customer service (at first) was very friendly and professional, installation was very disappointing. We purchased white marble countertops and after the first installation crew came in, both seams came out very yellow. Also, the square island was slightly crooked. A second installation crew came in (different people) and only fixed one of the two yellow seams. They ran out of time because they arrived late. They said the island would probably have to be ripped out, recut and reinstalled (it wasn't a matter of readjusting the counter because it was not cut square to begin with). After several back-and-forth calls (the office seems to be busy all the time and responsiveness is not good nor very professional AFTER the sale) I was told another installer would have to come and look at the square counter and based on this person's opinion, that there may be a chance that we would have to get a new slab of marble. And, of course, that new slab may not match the other counter. At that point I gave up. I decided to just live with the ugly yellow seam and the crooked island rather than deal with them again. Based on my experience, at the beginning they were great with selection, professionalism and price. But once our installation ran into problems, their attitude was dismissive and not helpful.
