Wally was responsive to our request for coming out for an estimate and we determined to hire him that day. An appt. was set and he came out this past Sat. and worked all day, scraping. plastering, sanding and painting the ceiling and the top half of one family room wall and archway over a door. We are very happy with the results. Wally is a great worker and very efficient. He does everything he can to protect your home and cleans up well after his work. While Wally was there, I had him estimate a bedroom...ceiling, walls, woodwork and closet doors. As soon as I pick out the paint, Wally will get a call to schedule the job. Can't recommend him more highly. We have several more paint jobs and will have him back for all of them. He does great work at very fair prices. We used another good painter within the last year, but his prices were very high. Wally offers very good work at reasonable cost.

Wally is very communicative & responsive to customer's needs. He is punctual with calls & when he shows up for work. It is easy to see that Wally takes pride in doing a quality job including take care in covering, tenting in work area & clean up after each work day to contain drywall dust. Work was completed in 3 visits, one to put up & mud drywall, one to sand & a third to mud & sand areas that became visible after priming. To ensure Wally had done a quality job on the third visit Wally primed everything he had patched to ensure a quality job was done.

From the time Wally came he accessed and went through each room with my husband and I! Not once did he ever push but gave his professional opinion and left everything up to us! My husband and I could not be any more happier with his outstanding true professional painting job from startto finish. I have never seen a painter who is so neat and cleans up the way Wally does! You would never have known a painter left! The pride and detail that Wally puts into his work is something I have not come across with anyone in my experience of hiring other people in the past! I will highly recommend Wally who we think is top notch! He is a trust worthy man, honest and a true professional which my husbandand I could not be more happier with! Overall it went extremely well. By week 2 I was headed back to work but gave them a set of keys to finish. They moved all the furniture, covered it thoroughly with plastic and dropcloths, and when they finished they put it all back where it was, dusted everything, and even rehung pictures and mirrors and they always checked back with me to make sure everything was where I wanted it. They also had to work around and move a computer which they had to disconnect and they were careful to reconnect everything back the way it was. There was absolutely no damage to anything in the house, including a brand new dining room table and chairs that I was a little worried about at the start. They also used a powerful vacuum/shopvac daily and I think my floors were cleaner when they finished than when they started! I will recommend Impress Painting to anyone who needs plastering or painting, and I plan to hire them back when I get around to redoing my second floor. Their estimates were right on and they were very conscientious about everything throughout the course of the job. And they were always pleasant to have around, and seemed totally trustworthy too. It was nice to see how much pride they take in their work, which these days is not always the case. If you're plainning to have painting done, I say hire them, you won't be disappointed.

Wally is the ultimate perfectionist and his prices are so reasonable. He doesn't simply show up one day and slap paint up. He repairs EVERY imperfection on the areas he paints, properly primes, and only then paints so carefully that I've yet to find any type of flaw. He also meticulously covers furniture and doorways so there is minimal dust and cleanup. The jobs take a few days but he works non-stop and our 100+ year old house has never look better. We used someone else years back and there's no comparison. We also painted ourselves quite a bit but with his skill and rates we find it's better to outsource to the master. We've recommended him to several neighbors and everyone is thrilled with his work.

Wally is a thorough professional and is never in a hurry to finish the job. The quality of his work is excellent as he makes sure the Walls and the Woodframe look perfect. I highly recommend Wally.

Wally's price was better than proposals I got from other contractors. Before the start of job, Wally helped me to choose paint type and color. I was pleased to see him working. At start, he covered the floor and all necessary areas. He fixed holes and scratches in the walls and ceiling with plaster. He painted walls 3 times for even color. It's amazing that he worked so clean. Thanks Wally, you did very good job! Now my apartment looks nice and fresh :) And I love my new colors very much! For sure I will use Wally's painting services in the future.

The bedroom with water damage - Wally matched the paint exactly and worked within the insurance claim budget. The room looks like new. He painted one wall in the bedroom and the ceiling. Clean lines. He moved furniture out of the way and put it back. No damage or paint spills on the carpet. The other bedroom, trim, and doors not covered by insurance - Wally had to cover up some horrible brown paint on the walls in the basement bedroom - it looked like a dungeon! He did a great job of painting over a bad job and the room looks great. It feels good just walking in there. He painted some trim and two doors, they look like new. No stains, spills, damage. Wally showed up each day on time. His quote included the cost of materials and paint, and there were no extra charges at the end of the job. He made sure I inspected the work before asking for final payment. I would recommend this company to anyone. Thank you Wally.

I hired Wally to patch (tape/mud) my newly constructed basement bathroom. He worked extremely hard to finish the project within my desired timeframe that i needed. Wally not only did an excellent job patching the drywall, but he also went above & beyond what we agreed on by fixing some of the corners and drywall the i installed myself (i am by no means a professional). I think he was more concerned about it looking perfect than I was! He really knows his business and is talented in many different areas of the trades. I would definitely hire him again and i'm planning on having him do some more work on finishing the rest of my basement soon.

Wally did a fantastic job painting and fixing the plaster in our soon-to-be nursery. He painted 4 coats, which he really didn't need to do but thought was necessary, painted the ceiling 3 three times and fixed a lot of areas with plaster damage. Overall, he spent at least 3-4 days working on the one room and it looks amazing. All services included top of the line Benjamin Moore paint, too. Don't hesitate to call him; his pricing beats out the other guys too. We are using him to prime and paint our porch this month when it stops raining too.

Both jobs were done in a very professional way. He patched perfectly the wall in the bathroom that had been full of holes (more than one and more than 2 in in diameter). Now it looks great. He sand papered, patched and painted perfectly the windows, doors and the shed. The estimate was straight forward, and not expensive. More importantly, he is a smart and honest man; a guy you can trust. We had no doubt in our minds about leaving him in the house.

Excellent! Responsive to providing a quote. When I decided to use Impress Painting, Wally arrived punctually every morning. He showed me where a previous contractor who had stripped the doors had done a less than perfect job, so I had them re-strip the doors in addition to the other woodwork. They stained the woodwork and applied two coats of varnish. Two bedroom closets, one a walk-in, were plastered, primed and painted as well as bedroom and bathroom. Old wallpaper, which was at least 25 years old, was removed from bedroom walls and Wally prepare all walls for new paint A corner molding in the hallway was stripped and refinished; and a spot on the hallway ceiling was painted. He did an excellent job - very professional. Each day, he informed me of his progress and let me know what he would be doing the following day. Cleanup was excellent every day after work he clean up all debris. The bedroom is now as good as new and looks beautiful. I am absolutely thrilled with the quality of Wally’s work and definitely plan to hire him for other projects.

Wally was recommended to us by another contractor; he came in and took a look at the condition of the walls, as well as measurements. He gave us a very satisfactory estimate and detailed instructions on surface preparation (we're DIY'ers, but called for a bailout since we were out of our element and running out of time on this work!). He was two days later in starting the work than we'd originally hoped, due to finishing the previous job. Communication about the delay wasn't ideal, but phone tag for busy people (him and us) is what it is. But the proof is in the pudding and the quality and, indeed, perfectionism of his work was impeccable. Wally really values doing the job right and it comes through at every level of his work and even communicating with him; my father-in-law and mother-in-law were painting in the house while he was working and he even offered tips and help to them. In short: Wally does fantastic work; you will not be disappointed.

A week before my wife and I moved into our new house, we decided we didn't have time to do the painting ourselves, so we called some painting contractors to see if they could fit us in. We ended up getting two quotes, and Walter was the only one to come to the house to see what we needed done. He eyeballed the measurements, we talked about paint, and he was able to fit us in to his schedule. The rooms turned out great, we are very happy with the results. Walter is a great guy not only paint job looks amusing , he also offered to help me move our furniture to our house-when I tried to pay him ( he spent over 3 hrs helping us) he said that he helps us because he has time and he don’t want a penny. I have never before hired a painting contractor; I would definitely hire him again, it was one of the best contractor experiences I have had. Every step of the process was done in a professional, service oriented manner.

I have used Wally serval times and every time I have had an excellent experirnce. This time Wally came to gie me an estimate wich was similar to others I had received. He was on time, very easy to work with and assured me that the work would be completed within my tight move in schedule. Wally did such a terrific job. This is the kind of company that paints behind the refrigerator. Wally work over the weekend to meet my schedule, cleaned up when finished and was extremely easy to have around. Hi is young guy and owned his business, he works twice as much and he does a excellent job every time, when he asked me if I can give him a feedback I was pleased to do that, I refer Wally to all my friends and neighbors. What you need to know about Wally is; he is very detailed, he do not take a check unless customer will be fully satisfied with his work.

Got a good quote from Wally back in March - not lowest and not highest, but impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail so went with Impress Painting. Couldn't start work until June - price unchanged. Wally arrived to work each day on time. Covered and protected all areas to avoid/minimize messiness in the house, and more importantly, cleaned impeccably each evening before leaving. He was courteous and conscientious; he treated my home like his home. Wally’s work was fantastic and he always confirmed the work needs/specs with me before starting. We had 3 paint color changes during the process and they happily accommodated our "changing color" requests. Final walk around was smooth and I didn't feel like I was inconveniencing him to fix a few spots. I highly recommend Wally for any future work. Our house looks great and we are very happy with his work.
