We contacted Paul after finding him on Angie’s List. Once we contacted him, he came out to our house that same weekend. He spent atleast an hour and a half with us that first visit getting a feel for us as well as what we wanted our kitchen to be. We met with a handful of other companies and ultimately went with Bath & Kitchen Experts. I compare Paul to my wedding dress... he was the first we met with and we ended up going with him. Paul came back with some drawings after discussing what we wanted our kitchen to look like. What we really liked about him was that he wasn’t a “yes” man. He took our ideas and improved in them, and saved us money in the process. Once the decision was made to go ahead with the project, Paul’s crew was here the next Monday ready to work. His group of guys were hard workers, and at the same time super friendly. When Paul said they’d be at our house at a certain time, they were. The entire project, which was the kitchen and having all of our hardwood floors refinished, took about 5 weeks. We went from having a tiny square kitchen to an open concept piece of heaven ( with an almost 10 foot island ). We will definitely be calling on Paul and his guys for any future projects. The work they do is amazing!

My wife and I are extremely satisfied with our new master bathroom. We had a leak behind our old shower which caused mold issues and discovered that our whole bathroom needed to be redone. After quoting many different companies, we decided to go with Bath & Kitchen experts whose pricing was fair and had great reviews. We dealt with Paul throughout the entire quoting process and he made it very easy! This was our first time getting something done professionally and we couldn’t be happier! Paul was very quick to respond to us and was incredibly knowledgeable and trustworthy. One of Paul’s team members, Jerry, was chosen to do the work for us and he was great. On time everyday and he never cut corners. His quality of work was outstanding and we could even trust him to be at our home while we were at work. I really enjoyed working with Paul and Jerry on this project and would recommend them to anyone.

Paul and his crew updated our master bath. We spoke to and received quotes from several contractors. Paul's personality and straight forward and honest nature and reasonable quote won us over. I am so happy we went with our intuition in picking Bath and Kitchen Experts. Paul was straightforward about what could work for our bathroom, giving useful suggestions without ever being pushy. He worked with us on creating a design that was within our budget.

Words can't explain how happy we are with our powder room remodel handled by Paul at Bath & Kitchen Experts in August 2018. Paul provided excellent ideas to make our very small bathroom function and look it's best and made the whole process seamless. The bathroom went from a major dated eyesore to something out of a magazine. Jerry did an amazing job on the work and was very communicative, professional, patient and pleasant. He completed the work in less than 2 weeks and even worked a Saturday to get the job done quickly. My wife and I were moving into a bigger house, and my mother, who is in a wheelchair, was also going to live with us. We found the perfect house, but the bathroom was not accessible with a wheelchair, and was not attached to a bedroom. So we got 3 quotes to have the bathroom remodeled for ADA compliant (lower sink, hand/safety rails in the correct spots, raised toilet, etc). We went with Paul from Bath and Kitchen Experts. We told him what we needed, and he planned the entire project from concept to completion, and we can't say enough about the work he did. He not only relocated doorways and created walls where there were none before, but he also thought about the details, such as widening existing doorways to allow for a wheelchair. They finished up right before we hosted Thanksgiving last year. Our family not only loved the new house, but everyone could not get over how beautiful the bathroom remodel turned out. After the project was completed, and my mother moved in, he stopped by to make sure that everything was the way she needed. A few months later, the snow melted and we had alot of rain in a short time. It turns out we had water coming into our basement. I called Paul for suggestions, and he helped us out with that problem also, on his own time. A few months after we moved in to the new house, we found problems with the downstairs bathroom. The tile was loose, and the grout was coming up in the shower. From the work they did in my mother's bathroom, I was not even going to call anyone else besides Paul. I can't say enough about the entire experience. My wife asked to meet everyone before she let them in our home. The guys from Bath and Kitchen Experts are polite and very friendly. They keep the work area clean, and Paul is onsite every other day to check on the progress. Unless you know or have tradesman or a general contractor in the family, it can be very difficult to find a remodeling company you can trust. If you need work done, please do yourself a favor, and get a quote from Paul. He may not be the cheapest company in the area, but you will get what you pay for, and you will be blown away by the end result. I am more than happy to give him a reference. In a year or two when we redo the kitchen, the only company that will do the work will be Bath and Kitchen Experts.

Bath & Kitchen Experts are simply fantastic! From the estimate, to the project planning, the actual work performed, and the follow-up to ensure everything was to our satisfaction, we could not be more pleased. They were always prompt, respectful of our home and our ideas, very precise in all aspects of installation of the tile, lighting, shower doors, baseboards, and repainting needed. They never made any assumptions as to how we wanted something done, but also kept great notes on the decisions already made. Did we mention how efficiently they work? Their team of two worked very hard and brought the remodel in several days earlier than predicted. We kept a few existing items in our bathroom and they easily worked with us to ensure they were protected during the remodel and reinstalled perfectly after the improvements were made. We are absolutely over the moon ecstatic about our brand new beautiful bathroom thanks to Paul and Bath & Kitchen Experts!! From start to finish the entire process was exceptional! We planned our bathroom remodel for almost 2 years and when it came time to entrust our project to others, we took great care in that selection! I'm very particular about how I like things done... and so is my Architect husband -so I was very diligent in my research. We were impressed with Bath & Kitchen Experts from the start! We took notice of their portfolio and previous stellar reviews!! Meeting Paul then sealed the deal! He was very personable, knowledgeable, and willing to go the distance for us in terms of how we envisioned the space. Paul assembled his talented and skilled crew to realize our dreamy spa-like bathroom! You may think with all of the various disciplines needed to do the job there would be 10 people coming to our home everyday, but because Paul and his team of professionals are so skilled, with expertise in absolutely all of the various trades required for a complete bathroom gut-remodel from scratch.....that was not the case! We had ONE main craftsman and Jack of All Trades....Jerry, and 2 more talented Bath & Kitchen Experts pro's joined us a bit later! Jerry was AWESOME!!!! He knew everything about everything! His attention to detail was 2nd to none!!! To begin with...he was so organized and careful with the surroundings -were you not in the actual bathroom you would almost not even know there was such a big project taking place...because everything was covered and protected everyday ....and at the end of the day....cleaned up nicely. The prefab shower-tub was removed and Jerry of Bath & Kitchen Experts completely redesigned that entire area expanding it to have a much larger footprint as a stand alone shower. Then he installed every individual subway glass tile....one at a time-piece by intricate piece, including building out a niche in the shower wall. Then glass pro -Radek- installed beautiful 3/4 inch glass -7 ft shower doors (with hardware) the likes of which I've not seen anywhere other than in very high end spaces-spas-and resorts! Jerry installed ledger stone tile ----floor to ceiling-- to create a stunning accent vanity wall with inset mirrors and lighting perfectly set- ....not at all easy to do on stone, not to mention meticulously cutting glass and stone so that everything lines up correctly!! Greg also worked on the ledger tile and did an excellent job!! Jerry installed porcelain floor tile that ran throughout the bathroom floor and into the shower floor where he skillfully custom designed the shower base and threshold so that all of the bathroom flooring was uniform! Jerry was always 10 steps ahead, for-seeing what we would need to decide on, and asking our preferences at each and every interval. Painting, lighting, installation of all new shower-vanity-bathroom fixtures, electrical work-reconfiguring plumbing...you name it -they did it! It's clear Paul and his awesome crew at Bath & Kitchen Experts take pride in their work & hold themselves to delivering on the high standards they have set for themselves so that their clients are beyond 100% satisfied with their work. I think it's important to add ...they were all... VERY nice, friendly and pleasant people! So not only do we have a gorgeous bathroom now...We also made some new friends along way!!! I MOST HIGHLY recommend Bath & Kitchen Experts! They are absolutely fantastic!

The entire project came out better than I thought. The people that came out to do the work could not have been more professional or accommodating.

Not well. The sub contractor broke our Moen shower temperature control valve, then attempted to put it back together - resulting in no hot water output. Paul came to the 3 week job site only once. Now the porcelain floor tile is coming up. The absolute worst job by the worst people and handled in the worst way.

No "experts" called to respond to requests. I own properties in Chicago and New Jersey and have used ServiceMagic / HomeAdvisors on many occasions with positive results. I thought I'd give Angie'sList a try and NOT ONE call. Chicago has its problems, but this area remains nice and safe with mostly seniors living on the block. We bought house for mom (now 79) about 15 yrs. ago. Oh, well

Paul came to my house and gave me an estimate on the bathroom remodel .He walked us through the work to be done and the material he was going to use and the price, he was very professional and knowledgeable. When we set the start date he arrived on time with his crew, every day when he was done the work area was clean and neat. We used high end material in the bathroom, marble tile on the wall, quartz countertop,porcelain floor tiles and a rain shower. When he was finished the room felt like a expensive spa. The job was done on time and within budget, we were so impressed with his work we had him remodel our downstairs powder room while he was there. I Would recommend him to anyone needing work done. N

I met with Paul in our home, and explained that we wanted to gut our master bath, and that I had likely chosen our cabinets. Paul rather definitively stated that they would make cabinets or provide cabinets they sell "that are from China." Paul was also focused on mission creep, stating that we really need to replace all the floors in our home. Our floors had already been updated fairly recently, and we are not interested in doing that. Paul told me that I would have a quote in 2 days. Four days later, I received an email setting forth the scope of the work, which was not complete. I received the quote a few days after I responded with the items Paul had left out. His price of $12200 for labor and materials was the lowest of the quotes we received. I did not feel that Paul listened to what we want, and was more interested in doing the remodel as he wanted. For that reason, we chose another contractor.

I contacted this company via telephone and spoke with Paul. I informed him that I was looking to have a shower re-tiled and a tub refinished after a previous contractor left us with a job half done. He was very receptive and seemed polite enough. He told me he was currently driving and asked that I text him my information and he would get back to me with a time that he would be available to come out for an estimate. I text him within minutes of hanging up the phone. A week later, I have still received no response from him. I guess I will be taking my business elsewhere.

WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE CALIBER OF WORK, THE TIMELINESS OF SERVICES AND THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL THAT ALL THE CRAFTSMEN ASSIGNED TO THE JOB EXHIBITED. ALL WORK WAS DONE IN AN EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP LIKE MANNER, AND THE PROJECT CAME IN EXACTLY ON BUDGET EVEN WITH MINOR CHANGES HAVING BEEN IMPLEMENTED IN MID PROJECT.

Paul is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and very flexible and helpful in determining the details of the job. Custom materials were ordered promptly and Paul quickly scheduled the installation date. Joe, the installer, was very efficient and was done with the whole project in just 5 hours. Paul checked progress during the install and did a follow-up inspection. Love the new enclosure!

I had a memorable experience with Paul and Joe remodeling our bathroom. I though I would I run into problems but I didnt. They were real professional, courteous, polite about everything. They explained until the very least detail what needed to be done. I would highly recommended them. Joe was a great installer he accomplished the work even before the deadline. The project took about a days work. I would definitely use them in the future for any additional services I required. I couldn't be more happier with the results of my new bathtub and panels. A job well done!

Absolutely great. Main job found major water damage from skylight in bathroom. Joe had to shut down completely while new skylight was installed. Bath Xpert recommended roofer who turned out cheaper by 1/2. Once repaired, the remodel proceeded without a hitch. Looks great and was done as promised.

Very professional. Paul spent time going over our options, and he gave good advice on what would work with the rest of the bathroom. The work was completed as promised and in the timeframe promised. They uncovered an unexpected issue after tear-down, and took the time to get it fixed right. Price was for the job, so no nasty surprises on cost. Clean up was excellent. We are very happy with the way the shower stall looks, and would definitely use again.

I like the selection and their acrylic walling and tub.

The team started the work by tearing up the walls and replacing damaged green board. The installation of tub liner and walls was done exactly as promised and the quality of work is excellent. Paul proposed good color combination and ideas about the fixtures to use. He was very helpful and monitored the project closely and offered suggestions throughout. The team has excellent knowledge and are very friendly. They were always in time and carried on tasks with good professional attitude. The materials used were of very good quality. They were very friendly and worked around out schedule. Overall, we are very happy with both the quality of the work and the work ethic. I would not hesitate to recommend BathXperts to anyone who wants a quality job done.

Paul explained what would be done down to the last detail. It would take 2 days for the entire removal and install. Joe, the installer showed up as scheduled and ready to get things done. Once the tub was removed, there was a problem. The plumbing done originally was done totally wrong. It took Joe another half day to correct it so the install could be done. This pushed the project into a 3rd day. By the end of the day we had a beautiful walk in shower with a bench, rain shower head and hand held attachment. It looks wonderful.

It looks great, and I would certainly use them again.

Paul was very personable and professional. When he came to my house, he asked questions in order to understand what I wanted to do and what my "vision" was for the finished product. It was clear that he has extensive knowledge with a variety of bath systems, but equally as important, he has a passion for his work. He personally trains his installers and inspects the work before giving it his final approval. Everything went as planned. Joe was at my place to do the install as scheduled and was equally pleasant and professional. If there had been a problem, I felt (and feel) confident that Joe would have handled it. His motto was, "There are no problems, only solutions." What a great attitude. I highly recommend Bath Xpert. I would enjoy working with them again and I would be a pleasure to refer them to family and friends.

Very Well.This is my second experience with Paul and Bath Xpert and once again I was very pleased.We met Paul in his showroom several times to work out the details of what we were looking for and he was very accomodating to our work schedules.We changed our minds on several different aspects of the project and Paul was very helpful with his suggestions.The guys he has working for him are top notch and very professional.John and Joe are very meticulous with there work and you can see a great deal of pride goes into what they do.The crew was prompt every day and worked diligently all day long.The biggest hassle was having to go downstairs to use the restroom and shower.But it was well worth the inconvenience. I would definitely use them a third time and recommend them to others.
