Fire It Up Chimney Services

We started this project with Rob from Fire It Up. We had a crack in the floor of the fireplace to be fixed and we wanted gas logs installed. Rob seemed knowledgeable and personable even the first time he showed up for the initial evaluation and quote. Once he started the job, Rob sealed all the cracks and after a couple days when the cement had cured, he was able to install the gas logs. Rob even returned to fix the way the fire displayed through the logs when we indicated that we were not initially satisfied. He made it right. Training people with him. Very good. Charged $7.00 for charging and said the machine he uses cost him $700.00. But, its the safest. He did not know what he told me the cost would be. Called 3 days later and claimed he missed the appointment because of a family emergency. Dryer runs better.

Rob did an excellent job cleaning and repairing the firebox. He stayed till after 7:30 on a Saturday night to get the job done. He explained everything he proposed doing and why it needed to be done.

Rob was great he fixed our issue with the Dryer vent and also pointed out an issue with our the furnace and hot water tank venting system that was repaired with metal tapping of the edges without additional charge. He was on time and very nice to work with. Have him coming back to work on the chimney roof vent and give us a quote.
