I just dropped off the mower today. The owner is a very nice guy and they are very laid back. I have a good feeling from them and I may purchase another deal for my parents. I purchase 3 more DEALS for my parent's lawnmower (2) and snow blower today, April 5, 2014. It's a family own business and it's worth the drive at this price.

Aaron did a nice job tuning up my old mower. I expected to drop off the mower and return to pick it up a few days later, but the work was done while I waited. It took just over an hour which was longer than expected, but no problem at all since the work was done right. No doubt that Aaron knows just what is needed to keep it running.

He did a perfect job. He was mentally retarded so it was very difficult to communicate with him. Other than that, the engine was perfect. I would not use him again because of the communication problem.

It went well. I was very pleased with their work.

Fixed the cable on the 3rd, repaired one of the first two and took the third one back to his shop. When we got hit by snow later that week, I was ready. He was quick, courteous, very, very reasonable. Will happily use him again. Great service.

I think it was fine. It was close by and we were just looking for a good affordable price to get the job done. Everything worked out well. My husband felt like they knew what they were talking about. They were friendly.

The people were very nice and friendly. The person who wrote up the order looked at the snowblower impeller blades and said they looked fine, and concluded that the blades were not the issue related to the poor snowthrowing problem, but they would look it over and advise. WIthin a few days, I received a call to come and pick-up the snowblower; there were no extra charges or surprises, I just had to submit the Angie's List voucher, which I did. I would presume that the tune up was done, but the snowthrower neither ran any better nor did it throw snow any better. Unfortunately, since I brought the snowblower in at the end of the season, I did not get the chance to test it before it was drained of gas an put away for the summer. I brought the snowthrower in to another provider in late fall who said that the impeller blades were worn past the specifications and the carburetor needed a cleaning and adjustment. He provided those services for around $100 and when I got the snowblower back, it ran and threw snow just like new. I wish AAMS would have found the issues, done the work and charged me for it so I did not have to bring in the snowthrower again to fix the problems. But, I guess I got exactly what the Angies List special indicated; no more, no less.

The guy who came out was good and he did a good job. I do not remember the cost of the service but his price was reasonable. He was on time and he got the job done quickly.

I brought my lawn mower in on a Saturday afternoon. It just wouldn't keep running. I was prepared to leave it there for the next week or so, but he took a look at it, checked out a couple of things and ended up fixing it on the spot.

He did a thorough job and finished within an hour. Gave a couple of tips on how to maintain the snow blower. One of the most economical tune ups.

Elwood arrived at my house at the specified time. Neither my lawn mower nor my snow blower would start. Elwood cleaned the fuel filters, changed the oil, and did a general cleanup/maintenance of both machines. This occurred in the fall of 2012 and both machines have been running fine ever since (thank goodness that the snow blower is working this winter).

The tune-up of my snow thrower was completed in one day. It has been working just fine this snowy winter. I will certainly use them again.

They did an excellent job fixing it. Elwood and Aaron were very knowledgeable of what was wrong with the machine. I feel comfortable going back to them and recommending them to relatives and friends, of which I have done already . My home is in Evanston approximately an hour away from their facility but I do not mind the dIstance because I trust them to do the job right . Their quoted price is also reasonable. I rate their service as A++. They are great people ! In the spring I am bringing my Lawmower for tune up. P.S. I use the $40 Coupon to tune up my son's snowblower.

The person who answered the phone was extremely pleasant. The work was scheduled very promptly. The serviceman showed up on time and the repairs were professionally made. I would definitely call them again.

They are awesome! We had them for the initial visit with the coupon and then we've had them back several times, and I gave him to the neighbors. He came, did a really god job then left. It was great! They come on time, they do their job, they don't bug me, and they leave. The lawnmower is great! I really like them. They are good.

Initially, the technician said the cable was broken and replaced it. However, he found out after that it still didn't work and replaced the transmission. It had to be done twice because the first transmission did not work. A second had to be ordered. The cost though ended up being less than I was originally told, so that surprised. I also mentioned the site mentioned a $5 senior discount coupon, but they were not aware that it existed. Unfortunately, I forgot to print off the web page to show that it was there.

The owner immediately took an initial look and gave me an estimate on what was wrong with my non-functioning weed whacker. He took the time to point out where the problem was and explained how it likely happened. Very nice and punctual. Would definitely use him again for repair/maintenance on anything with a small engine (mower, snowblower, chainsaw, etc.).

Performed snow blower tune up. Works well, for a good price they are friendly and performed services timely. Also used them in The spring for lawn mower tune up.
