On Tuesday I found out that the main spring in the garage door had broken. Getting out of the garage would require lifting the door; at 300 lb. or so, this was not an option. I called Bryan. He said that he was relatively close on another job but that he would come after that. He showed up about half an hour later and replaced the spring with stronger springs (30,000 cycles). I liked that he explained what he was doing as he worked. He also lubricated the rollers. Very professional and fast.

Most importantly, Bryan said not to open and close the door multiple times during an hour period, thus overheating the mechanism and causing it to malfunction. This one bit of information saved me a lot of grief.

I called Bryan in the morning and he was onsite early that afternoon. He was extremely knowledgeable and efficiently repaired both garage doors. Our old garage door (that probably needed to be replaced when we moved in several years ago) - decided to QUIT - of course on a Friday evening. (the rail was bent and then it just got to the point where the door wouldn't close all the day. We called Bryan (around 5pm on a Friday) and left a message. He got back to us within an hour or so - said he was out of town but discussed the estimate of what he would likely need to do. He had a lot of jobs on Monday but rearranged things to be able to get to us - which was greatly appreciated. The price seemed good (based on what just a garage door alone costs) - and the fact that he got it done quickly and professionally was exactly what we needed. Definitely recommend him.

I called him and he asked a few questions. He said if I was willing to get up on a ladder he could walk me through the issue or come out the next day. I got up on the ladder, found the problem after following his instructions and had the issue solved with no cost. Bryan was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Bryan did a fantastic job. He was on time, gave us a good price, helped us program our openers in the car, and was available by phone the next week when I had a question on how something worked. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the Chicago area. He has come out to fix a bad spring and another time to repair the door when it came off the track.

Contacted Bryan on a Saturday morning after the cable broke Friday evening. He offered to come out and fix the door that day but that Saturday service calls were more expensive. We opted to wait until Monday morning. He was prompt and courteous. He explained what had happened and repaired it in less than 30 minutes.

The garage door left the track on Sunday. I left a message for Bryan after finding him on Angie's List. He called about an hour later and said he couldn't fix it until today, as he was celebrating Mother's Day with his mom, but that he'd be out promptly on Monday. And, he was. He even recommended calling the Naperville Police dept so that they'd patrol a little more vigorously around my home overnight. He came out about 9:15 on Monday morning after calling first, and the door was repaired by 10:00. He did a great job, couldn't have asked for better.

Bryan did an outstanding job replacing our broken garage door springs, but more importantly he knew that this was an emergency and after we called him in the evening (after hours) he agreed to squeeze us in first thing in the morning, which he did. Further, he helped us do an emergency door opening over the phone so that we could get the car out to allow my husband to go to work in the morning. Bryan recognized that the previous spring repair was incorrect and he put the correct springs in place, the door works perfectly now. He also noted that the door was 8? in height but that our opener was only a 7? lift. He gave us a tip on how to move the stop and now the door opens fully. He also noted that our existing door had structural issues and would most likely fail in the future. This was not a ?shaving in the pan? transmission scam or anything, but a genuine assessment of a situation. We plan on having Bryan come back and install a new, replacement door on a non-emergency basis. We were very happy with Bryan?s responsiveness to our situation and we highly recommend him.

They were fantastic. We had somebody come out and they were lobbying for us to get a whole new garage door system. Basically, they were just trying to rip us off. I called Bryan's Garage Door Solutions and even though he had a bunch of jobs in the queue, he moved some things around so he could get out to us by the end of the day. I thought he was extremely responsive and he looked for a way to help us with a way that he could charge us the absolutely minimum price. He charged me with $75. It was fantastic. In both those cases, I thought his service was impeccable. As well as his honesty, integrity and ethics were fantastic. His pricing was low.

Scheduled appointment for 21 April . Bryan Called me up asked for a picture of garage opener that didn't work . Told him what was wrong with both doors . About an half hour later calls me back tells me how to fix both doors on my own . NO CHARGE . Highly recommend .

My garage door was making a terrible noise when closing and opening, and it "bowed" when open in an alarming fashion. Someone told me that it looked like the top horizontal panel was cracked. I phoned Bryan's Garage Door; and in a voicemail, asking if he could replace the top panel. He returned my call promptly and asked me to send him a couple of photos of the garage door. After two email exchanges, Bryan was able to tell me that the top panel was cracked, but the door manufacturer was no longer in business, and that my door opener was also very old and didn't have the required safety features. He gave me a quote for a new "bargain basement" garage door as well as a better model, and a new opener. I checked around on-line for other prices (i.e did some on-line comparson shopping) and took his offer for the "better" garage door. He came out a few days later and did the work; it looks nice and is working fine.

Thought that I had covered all easy solutions, cleaning, alignment of sensor and so forth. I called Bryan to set up an appointment, left message and he called back short time later. Bryan said that problem was likely an easy fix (a sensor), and rather than come out and charge a $75 service charge for a 5 minute job, he instead gave me some items to look for on the sensors. He mentioned that if any looseness is present at al,l the vibration of the door will cause the sensor to trigger. Sure enough one of the senor attachment screws was snug, but not tight and the vibration was enough to cause the problem. No problems in over 2 days since Bryan's call. So many thanks to Bryan for being honest and particularly for taking the time to talk and get a feel for the situation first. I certainly will think of Bryan first when I do have a problem that needs attention.

Not only did he get my garage door to open again, but he made a couple of adjustments so it sits closer to the ground and moves more efficiently. It may be better now than when it was new. This was the second time I have used Bryan's Garage Door Solutions. The first time was a couple of years ago when the main spring on the garage door broke. At that service Bryan installed a much heavier duty spring, clean and adjusted all the rollers and drive chain. I was out of town when my wife called to say that the garage door would not stay closed. It would hit the bottom and then head back up. There were no obstructions to create the problem. The weather had been terrible, snow, wind and record cold. I called Bryan about 5 P.M. on Monday the Feb. 3rd, Bryan answered the phone and said he would do his best to fit in a service call the next day. Bryan arrived at our house at about 3 P.M. on the 4th. Bryan determined that because of the age of the opener and the fact it still had the original chain drive that the chain had stretched which was creating false readings to the sensor which made the door go back up. Bryan adjusted the chain and lubricated the rollers and checked the system over. Our garage door remote pad had also stopped working. Bryan indicated that with the old pads that if you don't change the keypad code the numbers wear out. My wife reprogrammed the remote with a new code and it started working like it was new. I cannot thank Bryan enough for his timely service and the care and consideration he delivered. Bryan Garage Door Solutions is the only company I will let work on my garage door. Job well done!

Wow, Bryan is awesome! He showed up on time as scheduled during a snowstorm. He promptly assessed the situation with my garage door opener(s) and recommended we re-build vs buying a brand new opener (as suggested by other firms over the phone), saving me hundreds of dollars. Bryan was AWESOME! One of our doors was damaged beyond repair and had to be replaced quickly since our family was leaving town for several days. Bryan returned my call within 30 minutes (on a Friday night, no less!), asked a lot of questions about our needs, and provided several recommendations. Long story short, he arrived on time and installed 3 new doors in a few of hours. He was neat, organized, courteous and thoroughly cleaned up after the installation. I would absolutely recommend Bryan.

In the middle of a severe cold snap, our garage door opener failed. I used Angie's List to find providers near our home. Bryan's Garage Door Solutions came up. I called at 10:30 a.m. and to my surprise, Bryan answered the phone. I explained the problem and after doing some factfinding over the phone, Bryan said the motor probably needed to be rebuilt, he had a kit available for our particular model, the cost would be $200 and he could be there as soon as he finished installing a door, in approximately two hours. Bryan arrived sooner than expected and within a half an hour, had our opener working again. He also greased and lubricated all the moving parts on the opener. The cost was exactly what he quoted over the phone. I highly recommend Bryan and wouldn't hesitate to call him again. Job well done!
