I called Bryan at 11:00 am. He told me he could swing by and take a look within the hour. He was in my driveway in 45 minutes. My teen age son had run into my garage door and broken it. Bryan put it together in a fashion that allowed it to function until I get a new door. Just what I needed! Great job.

Great job! He came and scoped out what needed to be done, and determined he would need to return the next day with a part since the door was so old and the springs were odd ones. Both times he came as scheduled. It's working great.

Bryan responded promptly to our call and came out at the scheduled time to give an estimate for installing two garage doors. He explained clearly all of our options. When we couldn't decide on the best color for the doors, Bryan brought us samples to compare to our stone. Before the date of install, Bryan came out again to see the new concrete floor and the rough door openings to be sure he was prepared. He even gave us helpful suggestions for framing the door openings. On the day of installation, Bryan was here on time and completed the work quickly. He even took extra time to hide wires giving a more finished look. Bryan also walked me through programming the openers to be certain everything worked properly. The garage now looks great, works great, and we are very pleased we found his business on Angie's List.

Bryan responded immediately and was out to make our repair that day. He was extremely competent and did a great job. He clearly knows garage doors and takes pride in doing the best possible job. He worked quickly yet took the time to make sure everything was working properly. He also gave us excellent advice and recommendations for taking care of some of our other garage issues.

After reading all of the positive reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Bryan in late August after one of the original plywood garage doors on my dual bay detached garage jumped the track. My home is 54 years old and I imagine the garage is about the same age, so when I first called Bryan I also mentioned the doors were worn out and I'd like to replace them at some point "in the future". He gave me a web site to look at prior to his visit and a few specific doors to consider which was really helpful as it gave me a jumping off point for my research. Bryan arrived promptly that same day for the repair. He is a real character, and I mean that in absolutely the best way! He has a fun and unique personality but is also professional and clearly knowledgeable about his craft. That first day he deftly corrected a bend in one of the tracks and we chatted a bit about replacements. I liked that he listened to my ideas but also made suggestions taking into account the style of the home and my budget. He also gave me directions to a few houses he did in a nearby neighborhood so I could see finished examples - this was incredibly helpful and I later found myself looking at every door in the area which helped me narrow what I did/did not want. The last thing Bryan did before leaving was pick up a large screw that he spotted on the driveway just behind one of my car tires - undoubtedly from the dumpster which had been in my driveway a week before due to a basement remodel. It was a small thing, but to me it was a sign that he notices and cares about little details. By the time he left that day I was seriously considering replacing the doors this season (not previously part of my home rehab plan for 2012) but wasn't yet sure if I'd be able to afford to do so as I'd been tackling other major projects and I hadn't even picked doors to request an estimate. Fast forward a few days...and suddenly it was "the future". Bryan had made a follow-up call to ensure the repaired track was holding and asked if I'd had a chance to check out those neighborhood doors. I told him what I was considering if I did replace the doors, and within a day he'd emailed me an estimate. I thought it was extremely reasonable, and after checking my budget for a few days I got back to him and he was able to schedule the installation promptly. It should be noted here that I am incredibly picky when selecting any contractor, having lived through a few not-so-great experiences in the past, and definitely do my homework before signing on the dotted line. Even before I even officially hired Bryan to come back for door replacement, he impressed me not once, but twice, by saving me a considerable amount of money. I had thought that once I committed to replacing the garage doors and their springs, tracks, etc., I would also have to replace the whole system including the electronic lift openers. In fact, I even mentioned I'd had an existing HomeLink door opener system in my car for years but was bummed I couldn't use it until I replaced these old openers. Not only did Bryan tell me all of the electronics related to the existing openers in the garage were in completely fine shape and there was NO need to replace them, he also told me my openers were compatible with HomeLink and then voluntarily programmed my car in less than 2 minutes. Turns out I could have been using the in-console buttons for years; I'd just never figured out how to do it! The second way he saved me money was related to the design of the replacement doors. I knew I wanted glass at the top, a bit of a luxury, and was vacillating on whether or not to add decorative hardware as well. Although adding the hardware would have substantially raised the cost of the project, Bryan walked to the end of the driveway, checked out the view of both the house and garage and actually advised against it. In his opinion, it was a bit too fancy for the overall style of the house. Again, this was surprising and I appreciated that he gave his honest opinion even though it was going to mean a less costly project for him. On the day of installation Bryan arrived promptly and got right to work. He had an assistant with him to help with some of the heavy lifting and it was amazing how efficiently but precisely they worked. There's nothing better than having a true craftsman work on your house and I believe Bryan is someone that really pays attention to quality. I'm a fairly seasoned DIY-er and was impressed by the care he took in installing the tracks, leveling the doors, and replacing the exterior weather trim. It was also a welcome relief that they removed all of the old materials and left the workspace (inside the garage and out) extremely clean. Before leaving Bryan showed me how and when to lubricate the rollers and metal components, and left me with a can of the lubricant to use in the future. He also adjusted the rubber seal on the bottom of the doors to a custom fit - there is now NO gap at the bottom of either door for the first time since I moved here 11 years ago! The whole removal and installation of two doors took just a few hours and before I knew I was left with the fabulous doors you see in the pics below. It's been more than two weeks now since the installation and I couldn't be happier. Having a bit of natural light in the garage even when the doors are closed makes a huge difference, and the curb appeal is incredible. They look like they've been here forever which is always what I want in a rehab project. The doors are whisper quiet going up and down - a few times I've hit the button and then had to turn around to see if the door was actually moving because I didn't hear a sound (it was). Bryan was very responsive to my busy schedule. He was able to do the install without me having to be home. The new key pad works very well. I would definitely recommend Bryan to others.

He was great. He came out 2 hours after I had originally called him and replaced the cable on the spot. He was very knowledgable and provided me with other suggestions and feedback on my garage. He actually charged me less than he quoted. Everything went very well.

Brian was very responsive. He gave us rates, price and was very quick in turnaround to do the install.

Bryan responded to the email I sent thru Angies list within 24 hours, then came out and fixed a unit that the original installer could not get to work. Would recommend him highly and would use again if we need to in the future.

Although the computer chip had to be replaced later on, I appreciate Bryan's great service quality and honesty.

Bryan was lighting fast in responding to our call, received photos of our door via text, and gave us an estimate right over the phone. He would have come the same day to do the job (!), but it didn't work for our schedule. So he came the next day and had the whole think done within an hour of arriving. We were very impressed by his speed, efficiency, responsiveness, professionalism, and friendliness. He was very courteous and took time to explain everything that needed to be done. It quickly became clear that BRYAN KNOWS GARAGE DOORS. He's been in the business for years and is simply excellent. He takes pride in his expertise and workmanship, and the quality of his work shows. This was my second experience with Bryan. Last fall when our garage door began making noises, I called Bryan. He took the time to ask many questions to try to pinpoint the problem. He determined the door probably needed lubrication and he recommended a product. He also told me that if that did not solve the problem I should call him right away and he would be out to inspect the door. I appreciated Bryan trying to save us money and directing us to buy a $3 can of lubricant instead of paying for a service call. Since that was such a good experience, I called Bryan this morning after a week of problems with our garage door. It sounded like a wheel was off the track though I could not see anything wrong. I called Bryan in the morning and he again asked several questions to try to determine the exact problem with the door. Since I had already lubricated the door and it still made noises, Bryan told me he could be out the next day. Several hours later Bryan called and said he was finishing another job and was available. I met him in the driveway and it took Bryan about five minutes to see the problem. He removed a screw that was improperly installed and unnecessary and the door operated perfectly. Bryan was gracious enough to charge only part of a normal service call since the repair had been so easy. I was very grateful and impressed. We will certainly call Bryan again for any work on our garage door and recommend him to anyone who may need his services. Few service providers today actively work to save money for their customers the way Bryan does. We really respect and appreciate his business practices.

If you need anything done with your garage door, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING ANYONE ELSE, CALL BRYAN! Let me start by saying that I'm in the service business myself and have very high expectations when I pay for other's services. I am also a business owner with a busy schedule so I need things to be easy and efficient. I had first emailed Bryan last summer to fix a broken spring and provide some quotes on a new door. He was prompt and fixed the spring quickly. He was also very helpful over email providing me with door options and prices. I ended up not replacing the door but was impressed with the service and how easy the transaction was. So this summer I decided the door could wait no longer. I dug up an old email and asked Bryan to provide me an updated quote on the door style we wanted the previous year. He responded quickly and everything was arranged via email and around my schedule. He ended up replacing the door on a 100 degree day while we were out of town and sent a picture to me when he was finished. From the picture it looked great. When we got home I looked over everything and was very happy with the install and the look of the door. It looked even better in person than in the picture. It is also extremely quiet compared to or old door and I love finally having windows in my garage door. Bryan accomplished having a very satisfied customer without me ever seeing the actual garage door before install or even meeting him in person! Our old wooden door was warped and heavy. I was concerned that it might actually fall off the track. I called Bryan for an estimate (he had installed our door opener a few years prior). He brought brochures and color samples and explained how the various doors compared in structure and features; also, he suggested to check out the websites of the manufacturer. We took a few days to decide which door we wanted, then called him to set up an appt. for installation. He completed the work as promised and we are very happy with the looks and operation of our new door.

Bryan has a very good business practice in that no matter how busy he is he answers the phone and greets the customer. Then gets back to the customer as soon as he can. He was prompt in keeping the appointment. He was very professional, worked quickly and even gave me some pointers on the care of the garage door. I will ding him on the price, however, I know what the assembly he replaced actually costs and knowing that I think his service charge was a bit high. Other than that, he is an excellent repairman and business person and deserves credit for the job that he does.

I woke up this morning to a garage door that wouldn't close. When I called Bryan, he first gave me some troubleshooting tips to try. When they didn't work, I called him back and he was able to come to my house within two hours. Bryan was able to diagnose the problem, which was a broken sensor. I opted to purchase a new garage door opener instead of just fixing the sensor since I had already had other problems with the existing opener. He came back with all the parts that same day and installed everything. Now I have a brand new garage door opener that is smooth and quiet. I was amazed that Bryan was able to get it done the same day I called him. I was afraid I'd have to go at least a week with a broken garage door.

Car went through garage door due to malfunctioning remote start on a stick shift car. Brian immediately came over, helped me get the car out of the garage and secure the destroyed garage door back in place. He came the next morning with a new garage door and was able to quickly install and looks and works great. Replaced all hardware, tracks, electronics eyes, and got a much better, higher quality garage door at a very resonable price. Have used Bryan in the past for minor repairs, this major repair, and will be a customer of his for life. Everything was perfect. Thanks again Bryan.

Bryan returned our call almost immediately, unlike the other four companies we called who took their time in getting back to us in the days to follow. He understood our problem right-away and advised us on the phone what to do temporarily to at least get our garage door down & closed, until he could get here. What a great help he was as it was late at night and everything we had tried wasn't working ! He is top-notch ! Also, on a later date we encountered another problem, called him after hours and he took 10 mins in the middle of his dinner to guide us thru trouble-shooting, enabling us to fix the problem ourselves. He said he didn't want to have to come out and charge us for a service call. Bryan is a honest repairman, professional, knows his business and we will hire him again if necessary without a doubt!
