The estimator was prompt, professional and friendly. They provided the service on a timely basis (which was very important to me as I needed the work done by a certain date) and the work was done well. The driveway looks beautiful! Best of all, the price was fantastic!

3-D was extremely professional and reasonably priced. Their employees are attentive to detail and hardworking. We received many compliments on the craftsmanship of the finished work and enjoyed planning the project with Frank.

They were very patient. When my wife wanted a change while they were installing, they were very responsive. The work is beautiful. A very positive experience.

They were a pleasure to work with through out the entire process. Frank and Peter were able to offer some creative solutions to our challenges. We received four bids on the project. 3D was right in the middle cost wise. They were the only one that had a solution to working around our pillars on the front porch (they understood how they were made and were able to do the job properly rather than jerry rigging around them. They were quick. They were neat. They did a lovely job. They had a "show room" on the patio outside their office where we could see examples of patterns and pavers and get an idea of how things would look. They work with several brands of products.

The crew did an excellent job of cleaning up. During the onset, they offered great suggestions to add to the eye appeal and make it functional. They truly knew what they were doing. When laying out the retaining wall, they angled it so water would run off properly.

3D Brick Paving Co. scheduled the work, but actually started two days prior to the scheduled date. They are responsive, punctual, professional, and attentive to even the smallest detail. I was really impressed that a company representative came, once the job was finished, to make sure the workmanship was to our liking. They also returned to fix some mirror details, that might have caused some issues.

Mario and his crew were prompt and efficient. They worked very quickly with skill. The resulting brick service walk has a graceful curve that is truly artful.

From the start, everything went great. Pete gave us an estimate, including a separate estimate to replace an existing sidewalk from the front of house around back and a patio. We got another estimate locally from another recommended contractor also. Pete's estimate was thorough and arrived promptly as promised. It was competitive with the other, yet a bit less for the porch work. From our original meeting I had confidence in Pete and impressed by his knowledge, flexibility, and confidence in his crew. We decided to only tackle the front project this year. The job started on time and every thing progressed quickly from excavation to prep to installation. The crew was excellent and very talented. The stones for the porch were well planned and laid out, as were the steps which were our biggest concern. The walkways were designed well and exceeded expectation. We have received so many compliments from neighbors and strangers! We will undoubtedly use 3D again!

After several quotes from individuals who made me feel like they were doing me a favor by providing me with this service, I looked up the most highly rated paver company on Angie's List. Pete Pontikis came to my home and met with my husband and I to discuss exactly what we were looking for. He left us with a very impressive folder containing copies of various certificates and awards and thirteen pages full of single spaced referrals. Our quote was e-mailed one or two days later, also very professionally presented, as well as a follow up phone call was received. We booked the same day and were scheduled in the following week. Pete told us it would take 5 days to complete and it took 3. His crew were very meticulous and very respectful of our yard. They even replanted bushes that had to be removed. They replaced all of our patio furniture when they finished and spent quite a bit of time trying to ensure everything was as neat as possible.

3D was flexible in scheduling a time to provide us with an estimate for the work we wanted. Pete came out to our house and took some measurements and walked me through the process of installation, time lines and the brick options. He invited us to come to 3D's outdoor showroom to look at the different brick options and make our decision. The patio was installed about 4 weeks later in 2 days. The crew was efficient and did an excellent job. We found 3D's service to be more professional than any other companies from which we requested quotes in addition to the fact that they offered us an Angie's List discount and beat the other estimates by at least $800 for the job. We will likely have 3D back in the spring for more work at our home.

They were highly rated on Angie's List and they did an outstanding job on my home. They are really good and I had a great experience with them. They were on time, friendly and they answered all of my questions.

I liked the fact that there service manager (Frank) was very open and made himself available. He wasn't willing to stop until we were totally happy. When I see something like that I will continue to use this company again and again.

Their work was beautiful but they were called off the job from the home office because of the weather it rained hard in the office city but where I live it hardly rained, and they had to cut off the A/C and to move it while that happened 3 days no A/C they offered to pay for a motel 6. I will hire them again if the A/C unit doesn't need to be moves in the heat of the summer.

Mr. Frank D'Aiello came to my home promptly on the day and time that he said he would. He surveyed the project and offered additional suggestions that enhanced the work. An estimate was received within two days of his visit. Mr. D'Aiello was very thorough in presenting he details and appeared very interested in doing the project. The crew arrived exactly when expected. They were polite, courteous, pleasant, efficient and professional. The work was completed in the time frame I was given. Upon completion, a minor modification had to be made to satisfy the village where I reside. When I notified Mr. D'Aiello, he dispatched a crew to take care of the problem the very next morning. Now the village is happy and I am very, very happy with my new driveway, walk and stoop. I think the appearance of my residence has been greatly improved.

It went quite well overall. The work crew was here promptly at 8:00 a.m. each morning and worked quickly and efficiently, finishing up my 400 plus square foot patio in less than three days. My adult son was impressed with how skilled the bobcat operator was! They even sorted the old bricks for me so that I could give the usable ones to my son for his own small project. When they left, everything was cleaned up and the salvageable brick and flagstone was neatly stacked and piled for me. All of the people I dealt with were pleasant and efficient.

Pete Pontikis and the 3D people (except for having a smoky office) were absolutely wonderful. For various reasons, including delays with two of the other contractors we were using, we had to reschedule the work several times. They were always pleasant and happy to help us with this. The crew was exceptionally nice, creative, efficient, polite and responsive. They treated all of my questions and concerns with respect and did a wonderful cleanup. They delivered and installed exactly what we had agreed (brick patio and walk) and we have spent every waking moment that we can and had most of our meals on the patio this summer. One of our friends called it "an oasis" which is just what it feels like.

Overall, this project went very smoothly. 3D came out and after initial measurement and discussion of our needs, they came back with a design. After a little back & forth, we agreed on a plan and scheduled the work for 2-3 weeks later, right at the beginning of the Spring. They were very professional, showed up on time, and completed the project exactly as promised. We now have a beautiful brick patio, that is the perfect size and color for our lot and home. We would strongly recommend 3D in the future.

These guys are the best contractor I've worked with in my 15 years of home ownership. We wanted the patio done well, at a reasonable cost before summer arrives. Pete replied within hours to my request for a quote. He came out, looked at my rough design, made some great suggestions and submitted a proposal within 24 hours. Once we picked out our brick, Pete came out and sketched the general outline of the patio in the dirt. He was so flexible and easy to talk to that we adjusted the plan as we talked through various options. The crew was here the next day ready to work. The crew is great. They are polite yet did not interfere with our daily life. We would occasionally make an appearance in the backyard just to see how things were going and they were always willing to talk to us and make adjustments as we requested them. They worked on some really cold days in March without complaint. Pete and 3D is absolutely the best! I would recommend them to anyone.

We had two very different experiences. Our advice? Ask for someone other than Pete Pontikis. He has an "excuse rolodex" the size of the Chicago phone book. 3D first bid on our new driveway in 2006, EXCELLENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE, SAME DAY SERVICE, but the project got pushed back to 2007. Based on the original experience, we went back to get a quote including the drive, PLUS a patio, walks, and a sitting wall. Pete Pontikis was assigned to us. What followed were miscommunication, unreturned phone calls (during the inactive winter months, no less!), and a bid process that dragged out for so long that we decided to only use 3D for the driveway. We requested that Pete update the bid. Several weeks later, he showed up for the first site meeting w/ the GC with a new quote in hand, telling us FOR THE FIRST TIME of a 50% increase in the price due to the change in scope. The last straw for us.

In general, working with 3D was one bad surprise after another. We went over the design before work started & was told that the elevation would have to be higher than discussed. When preparing the base I saw them put material that can break down under the base material that shouldn't be there. Their Angie's List ad says they have a ''lifetime guarantee'' but their estimate says they have a ''Five year guarantee'' They told me the water would pool on the driveway as it came off the pavers so I should install more pavers. They knew from day 1 that the water needed to go from the garage to pavers to driveway. I told them to use a different elevation if possible to raise the driveway and lower the pavers slope and that's what was done. 3D installed less square footage than planned & over billed me on the square feet. I went to buy asphalt to finish the job, they left w/o telling me & walked away w/o finishing. The spin 3D put on this is that it's extra-draining water right is their.

Excellent experience from start to finish. They came out and measured in advance, gave us a price (more reasonable than anyone else)and then showed up on the agreed upon day, did a very nice. It looks really great and I'd highly recommend them.
