I too had someone come out for an estimate and after 2 weeks hadn't heard anything - so I called the office number. Mike called me back within 30 minutes, offered to come out asap based on my schedule. He showed up on time, had figures for me that same day, and gave me an estimate of when they could start. He met the proposed start date and his team worked consecutive days to finish the project. His team did an excellent job! I'm very satisfied and would definitely use them again.

I called 3D and asked if they performed patio maintenance. The answer was yes but I had to wait two weeks for someone to come to look at the patio and provide an estimate. Alex came to the house on date and time agreed to. He spent nearly an hour with me reviewing the patio, taking photos and notes and discussing alterations I also wanted considered. I was told I'd have the estimate in 3 days. It's been two weeks and I have heard nothing from them at all, not even "sorry for the delay.". I can't imagine how they earned the "A" rating.

3D did an amazing job; I can't believe the care that went into the re-leveling and resetting process, which involved picking up by hand hundreds of brick and then relaying and re-positioning them--like doing a giant jig saw puzzle. The end result was a beautiful job, which I've had a number of compliments on from neighbors.

3D Brick Paving was reasonable, fast, and did an excellent job. Alex was extremely courteous and professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Frank, Mike and team were great work with. The team was on time, fast, detailed and also did a great job of cleaning up after their work. We absolutely love our back patio! Would definitely recommend them!

Frank D'Aiello and his crew provide excellent, always courteous service. They do excellent quality work done in a timely manner. They know their business and use high quality materials. I would confidently recommend them to anyone. This is our second project with Frank, as he replaced our back patio 2 years ago.

Frank was informed of what my plan was and my time schedule for completion. He understood immediately and the project was scheduled and completed within 2-3 weeks. Work performed was exactly as quoted with a high level of quality and attention to detail. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

The gentleman came out at the scheduled time and was there all of 5 minutes. Stated that they could not do the job. Suggested concrete would be better. He said their company also did concrete but he did not provide estimate or suggest we make an appointment with that side of the business. Either he decided our job was too small for their company or he didn't like the way we looked. Either way it was a total waste of my time.

We were looking for a company to replace our concrete patio with pavers, approximately 600 sq ft in size with sitting wall on one side. 3D Brick Paving was one of 3 companies we contacted for a proposal. We made an appointment guy came as scheduled and measured. We went through the options and picked the pavers for the quote. He told us he will send it in a few days. 7 days later I emailed him asking when can we expect a quote. This is a reply I got “Should have it for you in the next couple of days. “That was 2 weeks ago. It was unprofessional and waste of time. Waiting for a quote pushed back starting date of our project for 3 weeks.

11 yrs ago I hired 3D brick paving to install a sidewalk, retaining wall and steps. A few months later I hired them to come back and add more retaining wall in my yard. I have had them out 2 or 3 times to fix the steps and the pavers at the top of the retaining wall. This year I find my steps are slanting down and some pavers actually lose, as well as some pavers at the top of the retaining walls. The retaining walls are now also bowing as well. When I called to tell them of these problems they told me that they have a 5 yr warrenty on their work and they have fixed this several times for me. I said yes but shouldn't these last longer than 3 or 4 yrs before they need to be fixed??? I said the steps were actually dangerous. They sent someone to reglue the steps and then told me they would get me an estimate to fixed all these problems. They were supposed to send an estimate a week ago and didn't. I don't really care because I can't imagine paying a company to come back and fix things they didn't do right in the first place. If you want your project to last longer than 5 yrs I wouldn't recommend this company.

We chose 3D Brick after getting competing bids from 5 other contractors. Their expertise in installing brick, price and excellent reputation/reviews were among our criteria. A few bids made by primarily landscaping companies were not nearly as knowledgeable about brick installation. Mike took care of us as the job started. It's clear he knows his stuff and thoroughly explained the job. Mike pointed out several issues that were not raised by others. We have high expectations and he made sure our needs were met. Javier and his crew were simply outstanding. They came promptly each day, explained the day's work, worked efficiently and effectively and cleaned up thoroughly after each day. We are extremely pleased with our patio and this company. A+ Very highly recommend!

I would given this company A++ if there's an option here. As a licensed architect myself (with more than a decade experience on design, site, working with contractors), I designed my own backyard hardscape and was looking for a qualified contractor to execute my idea. After resourcing through unilock, quoting from multiple paving and landscape companies in Northshore area, I finally selected 3D. Wow! What a great experience! I enjoyed working with everyone from the crew to owner Mike. Their crew shows up on time, very professional to work with. Mike himself is very pleasant to chat with, and he responded to each of my inquiry promptly! For me, 3D is not a typical contractor that simply provides service, they puts you -the client at the heart of their service! 3D's work does not merely meet my expectation, they well exceeds my expectation. Here is one example: I had about 500 SF patio/path; the geometry is free curve with little rectilinear lines. This adds much challenge to the job. After Mike and Chet came to spent a few hours carefully marking out the site, I can tell from the spray that the overall geometry is almost exactly what I have in mind. Already packed and ready to move on to the next job, Mike all the sudden realized something on this way out. He said he didn't like the shape of the grass at one area, and immediately unpacked his tools and got back to my lawn again. Looking at him enlarging the radius of a curve corner and re-shape the rope, I soon realized that he is right! I had been focusing too much only on the shape of the hard paving, totally ignored the shape of grass formed by the hardscape edge. And this man - Mike was there optimizing my design and making a great balance between form and space! Only a professional with a heart towards the perfection of craftsmanship would take time to do this! Another example: After the job is done, I found out a 8-foot long border could be done differently considering the future fence . There's absolutely nothing wrong, probably only professional eyes will catch the difference. I sent the picture to Mike anyway, added the fence on phone in Photoshop to illustrate the idea, and within 30 minutes, Mike called, asking my clarification and offering to have his crew come back if I intended to. Over the next couple of hours (it was already evening), Mike was sending me sketches, notes, markups on photo, showing me options for revision and optimizing. And the next day when I came back from work, their crew already gets the revision... beautifully done! Finally, I wanted to compliment on 3D's grass seed! I went on a business trip after the job was completed. A week later when I came back, the seeds 3D spread to make up normal construction damage is already growing and green! Other side of the yard where I put Scott EZ seed at the same time, nothing happened! Our family is enjoying the patio and path every day as we walk on it, look at it, and sit on it. We truly appreciate 3D's excellence and professionalism. Next year, we are going to have them back to do our front path!

3D helped us design our paver patio because we had a rough idea of what we were looking for, but not a firm design. Pete met us at a nursery and walked us through the different paver options and what looks good together so we could complete our design. The team who worked on our house was efficient, professional and respectful. Never had any issues with them and if there was something we were concerned about, our issue was addressed and resolved right away. Highly recommend them.

Frank was very professional and provided us some excellent ideas. He took the time to give us a quote that day as we were looking to get it done as soon as possible. The follow-up communication was very good and this company has a great reputation which seems well deserved. We ended up selecting another contractor to do the work who had a package deal to include landscaping. We will definitely pass along 3D Brick Paving to others looking to get a quote and consider them in the future.

Pete gave me the quote in July. We let him know that we wanted do the work in October. He was patient about modifying the quote several times as we tried to figure out options and budget. I went to their office to look at a variety of paver options installed outside. This was very helpful in choosing the color, as I could see it in natural light in a large pattern, rather than deciding from a catalog or a small piece or two. This changed my mind as to the color I selected. I then scheduled the work in September, to be done in October. They arrived on time. Pete and I walked out the exact measurements and edges of the patio and walk and he chalked it. He obtained the building permit. The crew removed the old concrete and pavers. The project ran about 4 days. They were on time, polite, and incredibly hard-working. Everything was cleaned up at the end of every day. When the project was done, I was concerned with the way the sand had settled (or not settled) into some of the joints of the paving stones. Pete sent people out twice to be sure that the joints were filled and that I was satisfied with the job. I would definitely use the company again.

The work was excellent. The job was quoted at 4 days and that is exactly the time it took. Frank was in contact with me regularly and kept me informed on my permits. It was very easy to work with this company and I would highly recommend them to anyone who was looking for this type of work.

We invested a lot of time researching who we wanted to hire to handle our new patio and landscape design project. There aren?t many places that do the clean modern style that we wanted, and we had grading and drainage issues that required us to take this on, so style wasn?t even our first concern. After speaking with many places about their methods, philosophies, equipment, materials, etc. we chose to work with Mike D?Aiello from 3D. His approach to his work, (he answered the phone himself at 8 o?clock at night) and the fact that between his company and his cousin?s company, they could complete the entire project from start to finish, made 3D the right choice for us. Mike came right over with his equipment and assessed our grade and drainage issues and explained (very thoroughly!) our options for a new patio that would prevent water from pooling up against the house again. Mike gave us a million references and we checked out a job they had just completed. The craftsmanship was excellent, so we felt good about proceeding. Budget was a big concern for us, and Mike was sure to recommend options that would provide the most bang for our buck. His bid breakdown was perfect, we never felt like we didn?t understand his charges, or his process, and whenever we had questions we got thorough, timely, and thoughtful responses. Mike is sure a character, but he is an honest businessman. Naturally, we experienced a couple delays, but Mike worked with us to keep things moving along and was always reachable throughout the process. His subs were courteous and very hardworking guys. We chose to go with a Unilock concrete tile that simulates the look of bluestone pavers for style, durability, price, and design flexibility. We are completely in love with our new patio and walkway!

My husband and I didn't even know where to start when looking for a contractor to do our patio, nor did we have any ideas about what the design should be. Not to mention, ensuring that we found a contractor that would do quality work and ensure that drainage never became an issue. My husband and I are former condo owners in the city, not the handiest of couples, and also not a couple that prides themselves on knowing how to do any DIY project,. Our initial call and all of our conversations after that were with Mike D'aeillo the owner of the company and after our first conversation with him my husband said "we found our contractor". Mike, hands down is one of the most knowledgable individuals in his field. He not only prides himself on getting the job done right, with the best craftsmanship possible, but he also specializes in drainage, which was my husbands biggest concern when we revamped our back yard. Mike not only provided a beautiful design but ensured that he took every precaution in the final project to ensure we would not have any drainage issues. 3d Brick paving is also one of unilocks biggest contractors so they had a display at their corporate office which made my husband and I very confident that this clearly was not their first rodeo. They were actually three months booked after we selected them but the wait was worth it! The crew that was at our house, finished on schedule, were prompt, professional, very courteous and extremely detail oriented. Javier,the foreman, was phenominal. He consulted with me daily to ensure that I was 100% satisfied and his attention to detail was exceptional. I would recommend them to anyone and definitely plan to use them again in the future. I have never had a more positive experience with a contractor in my 18 years being a homeowner!
