Repairman was very professional, thorough, and helpful. Took time to answer all of my questions.

They do a good job. They are really a very good company. The guys who came in did work with me on the problem I had. If I had a lot of money, I would've had to pay $450. I had to pay them $200 to start with and then after that, they allowed me to make out five post-dated checks at $50 a piece to get the rest of it paid for.

I was pleased with the work and the furnace works well.

We were to be the first appointment of the day. After waiting for some time, we called Tiger to see why the serviceman had not arrived and we were told that he was on the way to our house. We then waited much longer than it takes to drive from their office to our house. When the serviceman arrived, we found out that the scheduler had told us an absolute lie because at the time our call he was still in the regular weekly staff meeting which is always held on that day and time. When he got out of the meeting, he still had to go to the gas station and refuel his vehicle, causing further delay. The serviceman came and looked at the house and said they charge a flat fee. Since the man was already here, we paid him $232 in advance and he resolved the problem in fairly short order. He was polite and professional. We were glad to have the problem fixed; however, we had to change another appointment we had that day because we were first misled and then lied to as to the time the serviceman could possibly arrive. We are sorry to be negative in our review, but we feel we must be honest.

Came out firsttime for toliet backing up into bathtub. Told me my only problem was the plumbing inside was bad and needed replaced and the City of Alton would never pass this home for inspection because of the plumbing. Also stated waste of money to put camera in drain to locate problem because it was in the basement inside. This was on 4/17/2014 and charged $2,300 if work done that day. I said to do it. Problem presisted and called back on 5/13/2014. This time they used the camera and could not hardly get it into the line going outside. The problem was in the drain going out of house. Had to chip up concrete and replace tile under floor and going outside the house. At least three breaks in tile under the floor and going outside. Cost $6,500. They made equipment ruts in front yard. Said they would fix even though not in contract. Never have fixed.

Didn't waste my time - got right into the situation and explained the work. The work was covered by warranty and he knocked it out quick. He made sure that I understood exactly what was going to be done. I appreciate the level of professionalism.

I have used the company many times. Two technicians came out for the tuneup and completed the job in about 2 hours. The company has also replaced the furnace and AC in the past. They are very thorough and professional. The staff is also very friendly and available for service. I am a member of their club which makes them easily accessible to me.

They came in real quick and fixed everything for us. We had them install a toilet for us about a year ago too, and since they'd done such a good job, we hired them now to fix our situation.

I don't like their complaints. The sewer water it's so full of tree roots. I always say that it was too foul. I was anticipating. I would use them again.

Work was done the day of the call. Furnace problem was solved with little or no work (no hours charged) and gas line replaced in a reasonable amount of time,

Everything went great. They're clean cut, polite and even wear the little booties. If you need something done that day, they come running. They have even helped me with a carbon monoxide leak. They are a company you can trust and count on. I would highly recommend them.

Pipe burst on 18 Feb. Called Tiger at approx 0730 and they had a team here before noon. Danielle and her assistant provided us two quotes. One for just repair and another for repair and preventative work (e.g. replacing old pipes/connectors). We opted for repair and preventative. Team was very professional and worked diligently to address the problem, however, when work was finished there was some dripping from one of the pipe connections and Danielle told us she would come back the next day to take care of it. Company called the next day and said she wasn't going to be able to make it. This happened for the next few days, before we were contacted by Josh (plumbing supervisor). He came out and said he would make it right. He gave us a date and time when he would be back to do so and showed up exactly when he said he would. He not only corrected the problem, but made some other modifications to make sure we were completely satisfied. We will definitely call Josh for our plumbing needs in the future.

The pipes froze and burst in the early morning hours of 1/7/2014. I called Tiger at 8am and they were out by 11:30am which was pretty good given they were having trouble starting their diesel truck fleet in the -10 degree weather. The plumber corrected the issues quickly with excellent quality. He was very professional and wore floor protection over his shoes when in the house. I recommend this company and will use them again when needed.

as installed in 2010, which is correctThe plumbers did arrive about 1 hour and 40 minutes into the 2 hour window. I explained the problem. They asked me to show where the drain went in the basement. They estimated it was about 55 feet from the kitchen sink that would need to be cleaned. They said they would perform a whole house plumbing inspection while there. While one plumber worked on the drain the other checked for natural gas leaks, there were none, and checked the water heater. They told me the water heater was installed in 2010, which is correct. He also told me the anode rod needed replacing. I googled anode rods and found 2 references from plumbing supply companies that verified everything he told me. They also sold me an enzyme to maintain the drain.

Just 2 days before closing on the sale of our home the water heater quit working! I tried to get it going again but the pilot wouldn't stay lit, that morning I called Tiger Services and had an appointment set immediately for that afternoon. On arrival the technician gave the water heater a quick look, tried to light the pilot and immediately determined that the burner had gotten wet and the whole unit had to be replaced, I was rather devastated with this happening so close to new owners taking over. They provided me with immediate ability to change the whole unit out without having to wait any time at all (was afraid it would be a day or so), and also hauled away the old water heater. The new one worked fine for my last day in the house, and I assume it is going just a well for the new owners. Tiger services also gave me a bit of a discount for a service warranty due to the situation. The technicians also took care to clean any messes, some water spilled out and he immediately shop-vac'd it up, and well as wore shoe coverings and hauled away all the little bits of other trash in addition to the old unit as I mentioned earlier.

When the service guy arrived he asked what our problem was and showed up the price chart. He was not pushing any other service and gave us all the details on why the drain was clogging. He wore lilttle booties to protect our floor and put a rug down while he worked. Used the rotor to unclog the sink and he even double checked that the drain was cleared. Also came with a warranty if the same drain should clog again.

Excellent, friendly, quick and knowledgeable technicians. Fair price for how quickly the installed everything.

We called Tiger because our upstairs shower was leaking. When we opened the ceiling, we knew it was a repair job we couldn't handle. It was awesome to find Tiger! They came and fixed the problem in one day.

They are very punctual and professional. They take care not to damage your house. They always call and let me know when they are on their way. Also, they are very efficient and clean up after themselves.

We received a flyer about off season air conditioner install, and since we were interested in a separate furnace/AC unit for our 2nd floor we thought we'd get a price from Mt. Everest Air (also goes by Tiger Plumbing). Their sales representative arrived on time and to collect our information, including a summary of the problems we were having with air flow to the master bedroom on the first floor and the 2nd floor. The actual service technician who would do the work if we decided to move forward, Steve Helms, arrived a bit later to assist the sales representative in determining possible courses of action. We were provided with multiple options, including a damper system using our existing furnace/AC setup and a damper system using a completely new and more powerful (and more efficient) furnace/AC setup. The system using our existing furnace/AC setup was by far the cheaper solution, and that is what the sales rep and Steve recommended. They could have tried to upsell us on the much more expensive solution, but they did not even try. Their rationale was that if our existing system with dampers installed turned out to be insufficient, they could always install the new furnace/AC separately. The company offered no interest same as cash financing and we liked the idea of a damper system, so we went with that option, including the installation of 2 Nest learning thermostats which they'd admitted they'd never installed before. The work was to start a few days later. We received a call 2 days before the install was to occur to let us know that a part might not come in by the install date so they might have to push back the install one day. I received a call the next day letting me know that the delay was, in fact, necessary so the install took place the following Monday. This professional and timely notification was helpful. We expected Steve to arrive on Monday relatively early, but he did not arrive until about 11 am. I called the office multiple times as they originally stated he'd arrive around 10, and when he was not yet there I called again to get an ETA. The lack of communication on arrival time is the only criticism I have of the entire transaction. I can't ding them too badly for punctuality as they never actually committed to anything but the actual date of service, but they should have let me know about Steve's arrival time. Once Steve arrived, he worked throughout the day without a break for lunch or dinner up until about 9:30 pm. There was a point where we would have preferred that he finish the next day, but he would have had to leave us without heat during the winter so he pressed on. I do not fault him for this as we had a relatively complicated install in that we were adding Nest thermostats that required additional setup beyond basic digital thermostats. Moreover, Steve wore booties in the house so as not to track in dirt and water from the outside and our attics. This was a nice professional touch. Since I'd done significant research on the Nest thermostats and had a specific way in mind for their setup, I had a lot of questions for Steve. He took the time to explain things to me and he never acted put upon by having to make such explanations. We worked closely throughout the process because I wanted the Nest thermostats to control our on-Furnace humidifier and I knew we needed to connect some wires to the Nest units that were not previously connected to our old thermostat. This meant running more wires than original expected to the 1st and 2nd floors. Although long, the install went off without a hitch. We had no issues and they system works as expected (at least respecting heat). We will not know how the AC works in the summer, but we'll revisit that when it starts to warm up and we switch from heating to cooling. I do not believe the install could have gone any faster without bringing on another technician. Steve did not work slowly, there was just a lot to get done because of the complications we requested. Moreover, Steve went above and beyond by not stopping to for lunch or dinner and by performing some additional work that was not in the original proposal. He reviewed our attic insulation and airflow to let us know if he thought we needed anything additional there. He said we were in great shape; which was another chance to upsell us where a no/low cost option was recommended. Also, he installed a relay and the Nest units that I had ordered without charging us anything beyond the original quote. In summary, we had an overall very good experience with Mt. Everest Air. They were professional, patient and fair. I consider myself to be a relatively high maintenance customer in that I ask a LOT of questions and want things done a certain way. They took the time to answer all of my questions and performed the installation as directed and without complaint. My only issues, again, were that we never received an initial arrival time and when we did receive an arrival time the technician arrived an hour later. I understand he needed to pick up some parts the morning of the install, but better communication would have been nice as I worked from home that day to provide input to the process. I probably should have requested an arrival time the previous week, but I really should have had to ask. The timing issues are the only reason I gave the company a "C" for punctuality, a "B" for professionalism, and a "B" overall. Once Steve was on site, everything went well (considering the customer-driven complexity of the project). We were impressed that Steve could reason out the Nest system even though he'd never installed one before. They had multiple chances to upsell us but recommended lower cost/higher flexibility options. We LOVE the new system and would recommend Mt. Everest Air and especially Steve Helms for other installs.

On October 10th, 2012 Mt. Everest Air installed a new furnace and A/C unit in my home. The technicians seemed competent and were polite. A few days later I went to my basement and discovered that a basement window had ben left open. I assume that the window was opened in order for the workers to communicate with each other as they were installing the air conditioning unit while one was outside and the other was inside. I have never opened the basement windows so I was very surprised. I also noticed that several screws were scattered about on the floor. The tech who installed the new thermostat in my upstairs hallway dropped his tools twice and made a gouge in the hardwood flooring. He also left a screw on the floor. I am satisfied with the A/C and furnace but would not recommend this company because of the carelessness.

If you have the membership contract with them, they'll do an annual inspection for free. If you do need any repairs throughout the year, they'll give you 20% off. I've used them for years, and they are very honest and do a good job.

A girl from the office called and informed me when the technician was near; he showed up within the allotted time and within 30 minutes from when I received the call from the office. When he arrived, he was very friendly and respectful; he even wore covers over his shoes so he wouldn't ruin the carpet. He checked the things he needed to check and cleaned the sink pipes. Then, he removed the old counter top. He noticed the new counter top wouldn't fit, so he took it out to his truck and called another technician to come and help him shorten the counter. The new counter wasn't as thick as the old one, so it didn't hide the old wall paper like the old counter top did. The technician new exactly how to fix it, so he did it at NO CHARGE! He finished installing everything and said he was going to the store to buy an outlet cover!...I didn't ask him to do that, he was observant and kind enough to notice and make the extra trip for me! I was so happy with his performance, attitude, professionalism, etc.

We have been using Tiger Plumbing Services for years and knew they would be reachable, as well as reliable. Every time we call they are always on time and able to do the work right then and there. The technician was very friendly and able to fix the problem while he was there. Because of them we didn't have to deal with the problem during the holidays. We are always very pleased with there work and plan on using them for any of our plumbing needs. Great job!

We were in the really bad heat wave and my air conditioner stopped cooling. It was blowing but blowing warm air. I called Mt. Everest because I had used their sister company Tiger Plumbing and knew they did heating and cooling work. I was completely surprised that they were able to put me on the schedule the same day I called - they have standard hours up to 8pm which is why I was able to get on the same day. The guy came out, diagnosed the problem, let me know what was wrong and how much and a short time later I had cool air in my house again. I can not say enough about the level of service this company provides. Everyone is always so polite and helpful and when the workers come out, they put their nose to the grindstone and solve my problems.
