ServPro of Clinton

We were quoted at 2-3 months to clean and repair our home after a fire (Fire date 01/13/2017). Everything seemed OK at first, Rich seemed to really care about getting everything straightened out. Delays kept popping up for this or that and the project kept dragging on. It's been almost 11 months (11/15/2017 today) and we are just now about to be finished, that is 3-4x the original time quote. Some of that is one us for ordering custom cabinets/counters, but mostly because they just weren’t coming to do the work. Our 100 year old trim was removed and thrown out without our permission, our hardwood floors weren't protected during demo and reconstruction, so they are scratched, painted, and mudded on. Our ceiling beams were painted on even though painter’s tape was used. Part of our house weren't cleaned. Some work was good quality and some had to be corrected or is not up to standard. We had a number of items come back damaged or unclean. We've had to address issues throughout the process several times, including incorrect invoices, poor quality work, subcontractor issues, etc. We are still trying to get an invoice from a subcontractor to look over, but they won’t send it. The lack of communication between contractors, subcontractors, and the owner is astounding, as it seemed no one knew what was going on, or we would get a different story from one day to the next. They deny being told that we had issues with the floors and paint on the beams, and instead act like we are being unreasonable. It has been a terrible process, just one headache after another. It would be nice if the repairs to our home hadn't been more stressful than the fire. I wouldn’t recommend ServPro of Clinton to anyone.
