Went great!

The problem I was having was that my circuit breaker in my master bedroom would trip immediately, even after being reset. I called Wade first thing in the morning. He called back immediately and he debugged the situation with me over the phone, and asked the relevant questions so he could bring the correct part if the circuit breaker needed to be replaced. We set an appointment for him to come to my home later that day. He replaced the circuit breaker and tested all of the outlets in the master bedroom to make sure everything was working properly. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I loved the fact that he explained everything that he was doing in a non-technical way. He was also fast and efficient. Will definitely use him again for other electrical projects around my home and will recommend him to all my friends.

After several water events in our basement, we realized we needed a backup sewer pump. We thought we'd only need to fish wire through existing conduit from the panel to an already existing receptacle in the basement. Called up one company highly rated on Angie's List, and they quoted us $800, which seemed outrageous for that service (still does). Found and called Wade, and he quoted less than half. Turns out, after doing additional research, the job was much more complex than originally thought, but Wade was very responsive, and did his own research as well to make sure he knew what we were looking to do. Not only did he do an extremely thorough job, all to code (unlike the previous electrician), he also made several helpful suggestions to make his AND our lives easier (not to mention keep the cost down). In the end, we still paid less than the first electrician had quoted for a MUCH simpler job. It's always a joy to find service people who truly take pride in their work.

Wade arrived and began to diagnose the problem by checking a GFI outside, and then inspecting several outlets. He discovered loose wiring in a poorly spliced multiple outlet, and redid it. He explained what he was doing each step clearly. He then quickly replaced the two outlets. He quoted a price initially of $95 to replace a GFI (my initial description of the problem led to this being a problem) and to replace a single light fixture. Since the GFI was fine, and only the outlet needed re-wiring he did the second fixture without adding to his initial estimate. Overall, an incredible value for $95, in my opinion given the rates that electricians normally charge. He was professional and courteous as well as quick. Most of all, his rates were much less than any competitor's I found on Angie's List.

The work was done neatly, timely and professionally. Wade Wilson arrived one day after I phoned to give me a free quote and completed the work one day after I phoned to schedule the job. When he was half way finished installing the conduit, I asked him to remove and re-route one section. He seemed anxious to please and made the change without charging extra. He also noticed that an existing conduit was loose and he added clamps to secure it even though it was not part of the job. The price seemed reasonable but I can't say how competitive it was because the other two electricians I phoned for quotes never showed up as promised.

Wade answered my call personally, asked intelligent and pertinent questions regarding our electrical problem, quoted a reasonable rate and was at our home and working on the problem within a half an hour. An hour and forty-five minutes later our problems were fixed.and a potentially dangerous fire hazard was remedied.

It was fabulous! I scheduled everything over the phone, he came out the very next day, repaired it immediately and sent me an invoice via e-mail. I have never met him but he surpassed my expectations.

After promptly returning my call, Wade did some trouble shooting for the breaker over the phone. That is a service you are unlikely to get from most companies, particularly for a new customer. Wade and his electrician arrived at my place as scheduled. While Wade's electrician installed the light fixtures, Wade troubleshot the breaker problem. He made one trip to the electrical supply store. All that for only $230. A bargain! Some companies charge that much to show up.

It turned out that it was more complicated than initially thought--Wade explained all my options to me with estimates for each option. He was able to ground all three outlets after placing new wiring. He was professional, friendly and fast. He was able to repair the outlets without putting any holes in the plaster walls. He cleaned every area when he was finished. I was able to schedule this appointment with him very quickly. I sent him an e-mail requesting an estimate on Sunday afternoon and he replied a few hours later. He was at my home Thursday morning to do the repairs.

I called Wilson Electric on Friday. Wade called back on Saturday and I explained that we were ready to go with the project and that I was having a couple of companies bid on the work. He said he could come out on Sunday at 1:00. Given that we wanted to make a decision quickly, I arranged my schedule to be home at 1. At 10 minutes to 1 on Sunday, Wade called and said "Something else came up. Good luck with your other estimates." He did not even offer to come another day. Apparently, he does not need my business, which, obviously, he will not get.

Wade arrived on time and prepared for the job. He was very efficient in repairing the master bedroom and patio lights and was able to provide a solution to accommodate my new electric fireplace. He was helpful in answering general questions I had about other electrical issues for some remodeling that I am considering. The work done was excellent and the cost was extremely reasonable. I plan on hiring him for future projects.

Wade came over to twice before we signed a contract and once more before he started the work. Although it was hard to reach him by phone sometimes, Wade was always on time for meetings. He wanted to be very exact on the location of the lights, new switches, and outlet. We also relied on his knowledge on the lights and dimmer switch because we didn't know which cans would work the best for the space. Wade is knowledgeable and was very patient with some of our indecisiveness. He did the work in two days while we were out of town. He even fixed a problem in a breaker that was not involved in the project. He did the work himself with an assistant and was very friendly and neat. We'll definitely call Wade again for our next electrical project.

Wade was great. When I first called him to ask if he removed old security systems, he said he was not sure he could do it, but agreed to come over to take a look anyway the next evening. He arrived on time. This initial visit for the estimate was free, unlike many other electrical contractors. We then made an appointment shortly thereafter to have him remove the system. He arrived for the work right on time. In sum, it was a simple job that maybe we could have done ourselves, but we didn't want to risk doing something wrong, and Wade offered to do it for a good price. He did a great job and was very nice. We would hire him again to do electrical work.

Initial phone contact was polite and courteous. Called ahead to advise of possible delay in arrival, although they arrived on time. Offered options to accommodate and account for foreseeable obstacles, executed work quickly and efficiently (less that 20 min.), explained work in detail, labeled everything.

Excellent. Prompt service, and returned the following day when he ran out of daylight replacing the upstairs outlets. (Entire top floor is on one circuit). Will be using him again in the near future.

They came out to give an estimate in a timely manner for $250. I did not hear back from them and had to call for an estimate. I had a difficult time scheduling the project and got stood up on the day agreed upon.They have not returned calls.

They were very responsive and had a great price. I am using them again.

We discovered the issue Saturday late afternoon. Wade Wilson called us back within an hour of our call. He was polite and responsive, and professional. He said he'd be there in about an hour, and he was. He asked questions, did some tests, and very quickly diagnosed the problem. It was not electrical, rather it's the sump pump motor itself. We would definitely use him again.

Wade Wilson was prompt and did a good job for a good price. I got three estimates for this work, and his was the lowest.

Wade's response time was fantastic. He arrived exactly on time, didn't charge a mountain of Sunday overtime, and provided a great explanation of what he'd done. He was supremely polite, didn't condescend in the least and utterly professional in every regard. When he said that the total bill came to $110, my jaw dropped. I had to tip heavy just so I could live with myself. We have a new favorite electrician, thanks Wade!

Wade and his partner Mike responded to my condo within 30 minutes of the initial call, even though they had never done work for me before. They investigated the problem, coordinated via phone with my HVAC supplier, retrieved the necessary breaker from their shop and completed the job- all in less than two hours. Very easy going, nice guys.

Wade Wilson runs an operates a one-man service. He is licensed and insured. His schedule is very flexible and accommodating. He came to work on a Sunday which was also his birthday with only a day's notice. He assessed the situation and was able to fix it in one visit.

To call Wade an electrician is a disservice to him. He is more of a magician. He was always kind and courteous, and his work ethic and level of service are the best of any electrician I have worked with. He cleans up after himself, keeps diligent track of his material cost and labor hours, and charges a fair rate for work that is of incredible quality. His knowledge of more modern wiring needs, such as data networking, make him an even more valuable service provider in a field where the work is not only often performed at inadequate levels. He corrected many errors left behind by the previous yahoos and often had ideas designed to offer better efficiency, cheaper cost, or a better aesthetic. You can't go wrong with Wade!
