WILSON ELECTRICAL SERVICES

I needed to have complicated light systems installed in three rooms. The building dates back to 1920 and some of the electric wiring looks like is still from this date (cloth wrapped). After two attempts to reach Wade Wilson, I finally got a hold of him and he did come by to check out the project pretty fast and then sent me a proposal a few days later that was reasonable and within what I had imagined. We did settle on a date and he was punctual. His work ethic is extremely good and the work he performed I only can describe as super. As suspected, two thirds was a complicated job but he solved all the problems and now everything is working as it should. He left the work place clean and tidy. It was a great experience to work with Wade and would highly recommend him to whomever needs a good and reliable electrician. I definitely will hire him again and already have another job for him lined up.

He does a very good job. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. His price is reasonable and of good value. He also does quality work and I would recommend him.

Wade was very nice and a pleasure to work with. I called him on Monday and he was able to work around my schedule and come by Wednesday. I will be holding onto his business card to use him in the future.

We had an intermittent service problem in our house, where certain lights and outlets in just part of the 1st floor unit (it's a three unit building) were going out and coming back on at random. We had another electrician and even the utility company try to find the problem first and neither of them were able to diagnose the problem. So I searched the List, found Wade, and called him because not only were his reviews great, but I wanted an independent contractor, so that the person giving me the quote would also be the person doing the work. Wade came out the same day I called him (Thursday) and diagnosed the problem in less than an hour! He found a worn out clip in the meter socket for the 1st floor, which was causing one phase to randomly drop out, thus causing only certain lights and outlets to go out in the unit. Wade gave me a quote the following day (Friday) and on Saturday he came to do the work. The meter socket was very old and replacement parts weren't available, so we ended up replacing the entire bank (3 meter sockets total), along with installing a ground rod. Replacing the meter bank also required redoing the splice into the service drop. While working on the meter bank and panels Wade also replaced a number of improperly sized and faulty breakers in two of the three electrical panels. The lights haven't flickered the slightest since Wade finished. The difference is literally night and day!

I signed up for Angies List on Friday, based on a referral from a friend who had used this website in the past. My experience was everything I had hoped for thanks to the professionalism and kindness from the electrician I chose, Wade Wilson, from "Wilson Electrical." I chose Wade because of his high ratings along with the coupon he offered and am glad I did. He immediately took my call, was priced around the same price as the other electricians I called that morning, but most of all, his friendly and professional demeanor sealed the deal for me to chose him. He accommodated me that day, understanding that our kitchen appliances had shorted out, knowing that I didn't want to wait because I needed to get new appliances and feel safe that my electrical system was safe. He came over when he said he was going to, diagnosed the problem, and charged a very fair price. I would most definitely recommend him to anyone and I know we will use him again for other projects in the future!

It was a Saturday, yet he was here in an hour. Very professional and sympathetic. Tested everything, fixed everything and was very thorough. Maybe the best experience with a repairman that I've ever had.

My experience with them was excellent. Wade Wilson came out to do the estimate and the work both himself. He was very straightforward and also gave estimates on some future upgrades that we elected not to do at this time but we would be happy to work with him when the time comes to do those jobs as well. He was very accommodating to our schedule.

I called Wade at 2 p.m. on a Friday and he said he could come out that day. He was running a bit late but called to let me know and was at my house by 6 p.m. (on a Friday night!). My problem was fixed within an hour. I thought it would be a huge problem because I had others look at it and they said it was a huge problem, but Wade fixed it no problem. I was expecting to pay much, much more than it actually ended up costing. Wade was very professional and even gave me advice on other electrical/lighting issues I have. I would definitely use him again.

Excellent. Very professional and quality experience. I called Wade Wilson on August 25 for an estimate, he returned my call promptly, and came to my home on August 27. He took notes, asked questions etc. On September 1, he sent his proposal ($440) via e-mail and I called him to ask him to do the job. He had to check out getting the dimmer part - we talked again on September 4 and the part was available the next day and Wade wanted to schedule the job for Sept. 8 - I had to then go out of town for a few days so we scheduled it for Wade to come on Mon. Sept. 15. Due to the floods that weekend he ended up coming on Tuesday, Sept 16 and completed all the work in 4 hours.

This is a follow up to my earlier post. Wade called on 9/9 and was very apologetic about not responding to my initial request for service. He was professional and contrite about not returning my call. Since my problem was minor he indicated that in most cases, by the time he calls customers in my situation back, the work has already been completed. He offered me a discount on future services if I would be willing to give him another shot at future work. I am pleased that he took the time to call and apologize and also give me an incentive to try his business again, which I am willing do. Everyone makes mistakes. I think all most customers want is to someone to take responsibility, apologize and attempt to correct the situation. Wade did just that.

Wade responded quickly and came out same-day. He was able to troubleshoot and fix the problems in just over an hour. He was very professional, polite, clean, and respectful. He got right down to business and knew exactly what to do. I was very satisfied with the whole package of explanation, competence, and value.

Excellent experience. I emailed Wade on Monday and he responded the same day. I requested a Wednesday appt on short notice and he was able to meet my time constraints. He arrived promptly at the scheduled time and performed the work (inspection) to my satisfaction. He set my mind at ease since I was going to have work done in the kitchen and was concerned about the wiring. I will certainly call Wade again and will use his services for all my electrical needs. Super job!

Wade was great from the beginning! He was very quick to respond to my email inquiry, and able to set up an appointment for a quote within a week. He gave a great quote, and once my husband and I bought the ceiling fans, we booked a time for Wade to come out. He was incredibly nice and professional, as was his associate. I felt really bad because the ceiling fans and remote controls we bought were not fitting together properly, and one remote was unresponsive. Wade came back the next day after I exchanged the defective remote and installed it in the ceiling fan. He then checked out our smoke detector and determined a wire was loose or disconnected, so he fixed it on the spot. His rates are great, and he is incredibly nice, knowledgeable and professional. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

I sent Wade an email on a Sunday morning, he responded by 12:30pm and by the end of the day we had agreed on a time. Wade was able to work with my time constraints. He arrived on time, worked efficiently and was very professional. I plan to contact for future work.

Wade (the owner) assisted us in correcting some minor issues after a home inspection. I was going to review several electricians on Angie's List, but after meeting Wade and getting his estimate I didn't feel a need to look further. He was prompt, professional, and the price sealed the deal. Sometimes it seems that you can't get a contractor to even show up at your house without charging a Benjamin's worth of trip fees & service charges, but Wade gave a free estimate and a week later did all the small jobs for just over $100.00. Amazing!

VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. WOULD USE AGAIN!

Absolutely awesome. Wade Wilson was very professional, and did an exceptional job. There was very minimal cutting required into any plaster to complete the job (only a few spots). Unlike many huge companies which send out an estimator and then a completely different crew, Wade oversaw the entire project (and spent quite a bit of time in the attic).

Wade returned my call quickly. He was able to come out to my home within a couple of days. He arrived on time, was professional, and was prepared for the job which I had explained to him over the phone. I would definitely use Wilson Electrical again and would recommend his services.

Wade was super easy to work with and was also very knowledgeable in his field. It was all an effortless process for us, the homeowners, and the quality of his work was great.

Couldn't have been better. Wade and his helper arrived a little late, but they quickly went to work. They were quiet, neat, meticulous and efficient. They even moved the placement of the basement light to a better location. The old fixture was so close to the top of the screen door that someone cut a notch in the door itself to accommodate the fixture. Duh. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves too.

Excellent. I can not say enough great things about Wade. He went above and beyond. He was one time, flexible with dates and times, completed everything I was quoted for and even a little extra to ensure I was up to code. Not only does he provide excellent quality of his service, but he also takes the time to listen and answer any and all questions. Upon the completion of my kitchen project, I was so thrilled with his work we even started talking about the "next job". Thanks Wade!

Perfect service. The job was done within one day of calling for repair. He was prompt, flexible about the time I needed, and made the repair quickly. I was late meeting him at the house and he was incredibly sweet about it. Would highly recommend this company to anyone and would use him for larger jobs.

Scheduled appointment for an estimate. Mr. Wilson called 35 minutes late and only after I had called him and left a message. Said he'd been tied up. I canceled the appointment.

Wade called me within 5 minutes of receiving my email. We reviewed my problem and he offered to come over within an hour. He provided his rate upfront and also gave a rough estimate of what the potential service call would cost, both of which were fair, especially for a weekend. He arrived on time and systematically located the problem, fixed it and put everything back in order within and hour and a half. He was friendly and professional. We also discussed his experience with lighting work, and I plan to get an estimate from him for a lighting project in my living room.

I called Wade in the A.M for a problem with an improperly installed light fixture. He called me right back and set an appointment to come the same day. He quickly fixed the light fixture. The light fixture was a unique fixture from Italy - and my friends and I had attempted to install it. However, it was challenging to install because the instructions were not clear (note the fixture was from Italy), and it was a large fixture that was installed flush to the ceiling (I have 10 foot ceilings). There were five halogen bulbs that were part of the fixture - but only three ever worked. Wade was a real trooper. He stood on the 6 foot ladder - with the fixture leaning on his shoulder - while he debugged the wiring. He never complained even though I knew his arms were tired. Needless to say, he fixed the wiring and the light fixture worked like a charm. I am so impressed with Wade's professionalism and his "can do" attitude.
