Great, honest service.

Left a huge soot mess on my white carpet. When we sent them photos, they responded that I should hire a carpet cleaner and they would refund us. Surely they need to be more accountable for the performance of their employees. To put the responsibility of hiring another agency to clean the mess made by their employee? Horrible customer service.

They were fast to get back to me and came out quick! The guy who came was knowledgeable and friendly. It was done quick and quotes on other possible fixes were sent for me to look at later.

Job was chimney cap. Pricey, but Worth It! After job, I placed small accurate thermometer inside fireplace, another on mantle 2ft above. The temperature is actually one or two degrees 'F', Above Room temperature. yes, swapped thermometer locations for verification. Point is, the Air is STILL, inside fireplace, no measurable draft. Gas Co. has been telling me my house leaks heat... Anticipating next monthly bill... Expect Improvement! Good Job Done Right!

We received a phone call promptly to set up an appointment. They gathered the necessary details and showed up within a couple of days. The worker was professional, knowledgeable and completed the work promptly. He pointed out that we should have our stove serviced and cleaned on a regular basis, which we will do.

Sloppy, concrete spillage not cleaned off chimney top or sides or ground, job seems structurally sound.

I just hired these folks to do some repairs on my chimney. I was having some issues when burning with smoke coming into my house, so I called and scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, the professional they sent was prompt and knowledgeable. He took a look inside the fireplace and was able to diagnose the problem right away. We approved their bid and they were able to schedule while here for the following week. The appointment for the repairs was a little longer than we thought due to the weather. Despite the weather, they were able to come out and get the work done. Everything works perfectly.

Scott was very knowledgeable and professional. He worked quickly to sweep my fireplace and chimney. He pointed out some things that I should think about long term for care of my chimney, but didn't hard-sell extra services. Appreciated the service I received from these guys and recommend them.

Steve had Mad Hatter out to my house to do a chimney clean and was extremely happy with their service. I was able to reach them on first try to make appointment. My appointment was booked within a very reasonable time frame and they showed up exactly as expected. Their work was great - the sweep did a terrific job, answered numerous questions, pointed out a few problems for me to know about and didn't try to upsell me. Charges were exactly as expected. I may need some future work done and I plan to call them again.

Steve was exceptionally helpful in advising us on insulation for our chimneys to prevent downdraft, and provided lots of great advice for future heating solutions. On time, super professional.

They always get back to you when you do not hear from them and you call them...To be fair, I did contact them about fixing my gas fireplace before the holidays. I had a PSE gas scare that turned out to be nothing while they were working.

Super friendly and professional, I figured I would finally get my chimney inspected and cleaned. The next time power goes out, I will at least have that as an option. I've never had a wood burning fireplace before, so Nancy gave me helpful tips and information for maintenance. The appointment takes less than an hour and he keeps the area really clean.
