I would give them 5 stars but they said they would show up between 2p and 4p. I took time off of work for this. They did not show up and called at 5:07p I was in the shower so I didnâ t answer. The next day they called me again and they were apologetic so I gave them another chance. Iâ m glad I did. They were neat and clean and in and out of my house within an hour. I recommend this company!

They came to clean my chimney and took a look at it and said that I was good to go and didn't actually need the cleaning. I was really blown away by their honesty and I would definitely call them again when I actually need a sweep!

What a scam. Do not waste your money. Hire other people that actually know chimneys. Their technicians try and scare you into buying things you do not need and their service pretends to care but their purpose is only to defend the business... they will probably respond negatively to this review, trying to defend themselves... here it comes.

They were very knowledgeable and did great work.

I was called the day before the appointment and told them that they had to cancel. Apparently, the company had a tech issue. So on appointment day, the two techs showed up at 1140ish. My girlfriend told them what we were told and they had no idea about the cancellation. They did do the work I asked for.

Service tech was great and he took care of cleaning our chimney's. and sharing pictures of the before/after. He deserves the 5 stars. My lower service ratings are because my original request for services was to have our pellet stove serviced and cleaned. I was under the impression from the person that scheduled my appointment that this would be taken care of during the appointment. I'm now needing to call yet another service provider to do this. Had I known that the service was not something that you offer I would have gone to another company.

Very pleased. Gloria who scheduled our appointment stayed in close touch with us and was very flexible with our schedule. I could tell that this was a company that I wanted to use. The work was excellent and we will be using them again.

Shawn was very attentive. He took pictures of our chimney to show us how bad or good it was. This is a new home for us & we had no idea it the fireplace had ever been cleaned. When he was done there had to have been at least 3 inches of soot. We could of easily had a fire in this fireplace. So we had a deep cleaning & we set up for yearly maintained. I am very pleased. There customer service was great also. I had to delay a few days and they gave me all the numbers i needed if i needed to delay again.

I contacted United Home Services upon researching HomeAdvisor reviews to get my Chimney swept and to repair a broken damper in the flue. The phone quote for the Chimney sweep was $145.00 with a free inspection of the damper. The person that came out did a great job of the Chimney sweep and showed me before and after photos. He then indicated that I needed to have the top of the chimney cleaned, due to much moss build up, and recommended a Crown Seal for the top of the Chimney, which I agreed to. He completed those two items within an hour. He also said instead of repairing the damper, it would be better to install a Damper Cap in the chimney. He said this was a better option to ensure energy savings because the Damper Cap can be tightly closed when the fireplace is not in use. He said the total cost of everything would be $1200.00, plus tax, which came to $1320.00. I was naive to the cost of such things so I agreed. He then said the Damper Cap had to be ordered and he would install it the following week. However, I had to pay in full to get the Damper Cap ordered. So, I paid in full and trusted he would return by the following week as promised to install the Damper Cap. Which did not happen. After I got the paid invoice in my email I noticed nothing was itemized and there was a concerning note on the invoice that stated: Terms: By paying the due balance on invoices provided, the Client hereby acknowledges that all requested service items for this date and/or any other dates listed above in the description section of the table, have been performed and have been tested showing successful satisfactory repair... The note of terms was not on the physical copy I had signed and paid in full. This was very concerning to me so I texted the manager Mike and asked for an itemized bill and for a date for the Damper Cap installation. He said, they do not do itemized bills, that they only charge per job. When I asked for the company and product name of the Damper Cap they ordered, which at the time was 11 days after they said they had ordered it, he did not respond. I appealed to Mike again letting him know that HomeAdvisor was wanting a customer review and that I would provide that when my Damper Cap was installed successfully. Within 2 days, they showed up to install the damper cap and were here for less than 30 minutes. So in all, the labor time was approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes between both visits. I learned by research (after the fact) that the Damper caps average price is $249.99. So, with the cost of chimney cleaning at $145.00, the cost of the Crown Seal at $49.00, and a Damper Cap at $249.99, it totaled $443.99. Therefore, I paid $756.01 for 1.5 hours in labor, plus $120.00 tax = $1,320.00. So, I paid approximately, $504 per hour in labor. Of course these prices could be different, but I would not know, since I could not get an itemized bill. I am happy with the result and as far as I know it is working well. I would recommend that, if you want an itemized bill, to ask for that upon the first visit. If you want to know what products they will be installing, ask for that too. Finally, donâ t pay the full agreed amount until the work is complete and you are satisfied. My lesson learned.

Why don't you have a selection for sweep and inspect a chimney? That's what they did. It didn't need repair. Gustavo and Jessy were great. I got to see before and after photos of their work. They were friendly, polite, professional, fast, careful to keep my carpets clean and best of all, Jessy laughed at my jokes!

Shawn came in and carefully cleaned two chimneys. He was quick and efficient. I would recommend.

Great service. Easy to get setup and use. Better than the other cleaning services I've had and they always show up on time and leave the place spotless and it even smells clean too. Will definitely be using them again. Try them out!
