UHS rebuilt my crumbling chimney. They responded quickly to my inquiry. They clearly told me what needed to be done and how they would do it. After I accepted their quote they came over on the first stretch of sunny weather and completed the work in a couple of days. All in all, working with UHS was a very satisfying experience.

Cleaned out ash box from 100-year-old chimney that most likely had never been cleaned out before. Pictures pre and post- cleaned work area. Efficient and flexible as access to ash box was cluttered.

Gustav was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and efficient.

On time, did what needed to be done. Showed pictures as he went. There was other work that needed to be done to the outside covers and I feel the estimate was over priced. I choose not to do that at this time. One fireplace needed a chemical treatment and I feel that was a bit overpriced too but had it done. But the work was great!

Lightening fast response to my request to my chimney cleaning request. They were supposed to arrive on the 15th of February, but it had snowed a foot that night. They called first thing that morning to reschedule for the following Monday. They arrived with masks already on and went right to work. The house chimney showed signs of a previous fire near the top of the chimney; melted creosote, which canâ t be remedied with the chimney brush. They removed that part to show me what it looked like, and we discussed solutions, deciding on a solution that worked best for me. They werenâ t going to just leave without knowing my home would be safe, The chimney pipe.was put back on and they left. I would highly recommend this company, and will bring them back every year.

Competent professional chimney sweep and chimney cap replacement. Fast courteous service with no fanfare or delays. Laid down a drop cloth to protect the interior from soot and creosote. Did a deep clean to remove the build-up of creosote within the stainless steel liner. I highly recommend them for needed chimney maintenance.

Eddie was great he came on time and explained everything to us. He was very professional and speedy. I would highly recommend them and after doing a lot of research they have the best service for the best value.

They came out and did an inspection and then a deep clean. Chimney works great. Did not have to use the fire extinguisher when making a fire this time :)

I never received confirmation if they were coming in the morning. Only after me calling 30 minutes after the time they said they will be there; someone in the office said they will be there in 30 minutes. Seemed kinda weird, almost like they forgot. The workers cleaned the chimney. Though I was not prepared for them to clean the chimney from inside my house. They left soot marks in and out of the door and did their best inside the house, but watched as soot-filled my house. The roof was frozen and they needed to schedule a time to come back and finish, but nobody has contacted me after a week and a half. When it came time for payment, they insisted on me writing a check instead of a card. I do not have checks and it seemed like it was a hassle to give them a card. I am not sure if all of this is normal for them, but it is not for me. I expect full communication and reaching out when a job needs to be finished. So when are they coming back? Who the hell knows? Do I have to call to remind them again?

They were prompt and very courteous. They answered all my questions. They were very professional and the payment process was very easy and I was sent a receipt on e-mail. The before and after photos were a bonus.

I called twice after the inspection and cleaning was completed. Did not receive followup. Need to determine if the fireplace would be safe to operate after they completed their work. Simple question.
