I didn't know we were supposed to clean our chimney every year! So, after 10 years of using our fireplace without getting the chimney cleaned, I guess we were lucky we hadn't set our house on fire. But that meant that while we called to get a chimney cleaning, we ended up needing chimney repairs as well. The workmanship was professional and Jessy was courteous and prompt.

Coordinator was responsive and detailed in his assessment and recommendations. The work took a bit longer than expected but was performed professionally.

Hired UHS for air duct and dryer vent clean. The team was super responsive, communicative and came out on short notice. However, the quality and thoroughness of the work was disappointing. The underside of most of the vent covers had layers of dust on them (not sure if cleaning vent covers was something they did but other companies I have hired in the past always did) and the technician completely misidentified the dryer vent exhaust. After locating the actual exhaust myself I had to have the technician come back and clean the dryer vent. After the second visit, I inspected the dryer vent intake (behind the dryer) and there were still balls of lint in the duct. Disappointing since I explicitly asked the tech if he was able to clean the intake side, to which he said yes to, but clearly didnt (or did a poor job of it). They offered to come back out a third time but at this point I have lost confidence in their work. My experience has to be an anomaly since UHS appears to have a lot of satisfied customers and my interaction with them was positive. However, the experience has me a little sour about the cost vs quality of work.

Tal arrived on time, called ahead to let me know he was on the way, and did a fabulous job!! He deep cleaned and deodorized our air ducts and took before and after pictures to show us how bad our air ducts looked ⠦. Then he cleaned them ⠦ voilà⠦ they look great, the air in our house just is much fresher!!! Tal is the best!!

Gustav and Antonio were very knowledgeable and efficient. They were able to diagnose and repair my chimney in one visit.

Mike Home Services did an excellent service in installing a new Chimney-in my home In Kirkland. Professional, expert, knowledgeable, effective communication, timely, and priced affordable. I will use the company again. The Chimney installers pointed out fire hazards as they installed the chimney. They took pictures before and after to explain step by step what they did. I will hire them for all my chimney cleaning/sweeping and installation. Excellent company.

Fast!

Overall they were quick to respond to my inquiry and came out to complete the work in a timely manner. A few communication delays but as long as youâ re on top of reaching out you shouldnâ t have any issues. Would recommend them and will probably use them for my regular chimney upkeep.

Their agent did not do the work hired, He lied to me, showed me pictures he said were taken of my system. Not true, ducts not even the same shape. I gave him my creditcard while I was inspecting his work, found out he had not cleaned the ducts and then he walked out the door. When I later had the invoice returned to me I found that he had signed it. I cancelled the charge after calling the owner to complain about the service. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANOTHER PERSON!

Due to an urgent and dangerous situation with a crumbling chimney I was unable to shop around so the price seemed a little high. Communication was great, they fit me into the schedule quickly, they were courteous and efficient, and overall I am pleased with their work. Attention to detail was lacking slightly. I pointed out a missed spot in the repointing which they addressed immediately. Things felt a little rushed at the end of the day and they installed the rain cap crooked. Nothing major but for the amount of money spent, Iâ d wish for details to be considered.

We are more than satisfied with the work and customer service provided by United Home Services. We are preparing our house for sale, and face tight deadlines. We scheduled inspection and cleaning and stated that we suspected that masonry work was needed. Gustav took pictures with his cell phone and showed them to us, showing multiple cracks of the chimney bricks from roof level up. He showed us a photo of the stage 3 creosote and stages 1 and 2 normal soot buildup within the liner and explained that treatment with a chemical to turn the hardened creosote to removable soot was needed. Otherwise, they would brush the woodstove pipe and leave flammable residue still in place. He sent photos of repairs needed to his manager, and explained our tight deadlines. Although fully booked, they brought in extra workers and shifted jobs around to accommodate our dates. All workers were focused and hard working, polite, tidy and respectful of covid guidelines. The manager had already gone above and beyond our expectations in getting the repair done prior to our putting the house on the market, but agreed to add cleaning a second chimney/woodstove insert at the last minute. We had given the alternative of completing the job prior to closing, but were very grateful to have this major issue taken care of before marketing the house. The price of the repair, cleanings and new spark arresting chimney caps was reasonable, based on one prior estimate from a company that was much less clear in explaining what needed to be done. Paperwork was clear, showing proof of repair and cleaning done. I would rate them 10 stars if I could. Many thanks to the whole team!

The folks at United Home Services were very nice and helpful, they were honest when they realized it would have been a waste of money to complete the chimney cleaning service, but they did come back to clean the dryer vent. The two technicians were great.
