I am pretty sure I am being ripped off. Came to my house cleaned chimney. Said needed repairs. Paid 1/2 deposit 1300.00 have heard nothing back from them since.

They were absolutely terrible. We had to hire another company three days later to fix their awful work. In addition, they wanted us to hire them for almost $10,000 to make repairs. I would recommend that nobody hire these liars.

I scheduled for a gas insert fireplace service, which is as old as the house (20+ years). Very friendly technician, efficient, on time (!!!) and excellent value for the service fee. Much more in line with what I expected to pay, as opposed to the company I used five years ago; I had to be put on a 6-10 week waiting list (which I absolutely understand and was willing to wait--but did not have to). Also, due of the age of the unit was told might not have the parts (oh-oh, preparing me for an up-sell).

I hired United home services to clean my fireplace insert. My expectations are that everything would be removed from the insert, the insert would be vacuumed, the glass would be cleaned, and the igniter and mechanical would be checked. That did not happen. Only the igniter, mechanical, and a few items were removed. Bare minimum level of service compared to the service I have had with other professionals in the past.

So impressed with the knowledge and passion of the technician who came out. Also did the opposite of a hard sell on doing any extras or replacing the fire damper we have installed. Loving our open fire with zero smoke coming into the room ð

Jessy came to our house last night. I was a little hesitant as I booked the job in and had to wait 5 weeks. He was running a little late, but when Jessy arrived I can only give him one mark. 10 / 10. He worked in the pitch black. He was in no hurry even though it was quite late. His knowledge of chimneys is out of this world. I can no recommend enough. It is well worth the wait. Now that I know I will just be organised and book the service in in plenty of time. You need anything to do with your chimney or fireplace. Call these guys. If you get Jessy you have won the chimney lottery. Thanks.

The gentleman who came is one of the rare quieter ones who is passionate about his trade. He stayed on in the cold to teach us patiently about our old chimney. His work was excellent, clean, and he is very knowledgeable. His advice was based on our situation and needs, suggesting less work being required rather than more. Pricing was excellent given the quality of service. Will call again.

We had a great experience with Jessy for a fireplace safety check, cleaning and repair. Jessy was highly knowledgeable, well-skilled, and passionate about his work. It was our first time using the fireplace of our home and he made sure it was safe to use. He gave us an excellent overview of maintaining the fireplace and keeping it safe. Heâ s very clean with his work and quite organised. His mom also kept us updated about his schedule. Theyâ re a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend.

Jessy was very professional and took a lot of care to ensure the cleaning was perfect and the fire would draw properly. He made sure the inside job was clean and didnâ t mess up our carpet. He even fixed a problem we didnâ t know we had! Very impressed.

Did very little. To clean fireplace glass, the guy asked for paper towels, wet them, and cleaned the glass. Previous companies I used had a special glass cleaner. just looked at the inside. turned it off and on and said it was fine. When he went to slide the cover on, the metal plate was dirty with dust and soot. I asked him to clean it. He said that was a household job. He repeated that several times over other things. They did not clean the outside cover at all. Then they inspected the chimney and said $1500 for repairs. I think the $150 to inspect the fireplace is to get them in the door for chimney repair. They were friendly and polite.

Gustavo outstanding! A very smart guy with amazing customer service skills. He did a great job cleaning out our chimney in our new house which he reckoned probably hadn't been cleaned for 30 years)and sealing the top of the chimney for us. Also cleaned up really carefully and left no mess. Had a great chat with him too top bloke. Couldn't recommend him highly enough!

Tal inspected my fire place and gave me great advice and information, on how and what to do, i will be using Chimney sweeping in the future as required.
