I called Standard Fencing because they did the original fence install before I bought the house. I needed a shorter section and gate installed. Mike, the owner, returned my call immediately and was out the next day to measure and present me with a proposal. Since I was out of town he emailed me the proposal and we signed the contract. His pricing was very reasonable and he had the material within a week or so. Once I got the permit he had his crew out there to do the install. They did a great job. So much so that when I needed additional work done I didn’t hesitate to call Mike back. If you are looking for a quality fence, installed professionally and at a good price, make sure to call Mike at Standard Fencing.

Several years age I called Standard Fence to have a new fence installed. This was the second fence I had installed by them. Their workmanship and pricing was excellent. Now after several years (I'm not sure when it was installed) I noticed a hole in the fence. for approximately two weeks I have been calling them to see if I could be repaired. After numerous calls with messages left they have not returned any of my calls. Follow up service is very poor and I would not recommend them to anyone.

It was done in one day. Every thing was cleaned up afterward and I love the fence

Tried to contact them through their website--no response. Left an answering machine message--no response. Both described the details of me trying to get them to give me an estimate. With a response time of never, I'm now glad that I didn't get the opportunity to hire them. They never would have shown up. Come on, even if you're busy, you can't send an email or answer a message? So yeah, if you won't even give an estimate, you get an F. P.S. The "date of service" is actually the date I emailed them through the link on their website. I called and left telephone message after that. Oh, and when the company gets my information, please tell them to not bother calling or contacting me. They are done.

Standard Fence Company obviously doesn't need any more business. I requested an estimate for a new fence over 10 days ago, and they didn't even bother to call me, or contact me in any other way. Maybe I live too far away for them to be bothered. After all, I do live about ONE whole mile from their business. LOL! Don't waste your time with Standard Fence Company.

They were exceptional. They came on time and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves. I was more than pleased. I am sure other Angie's List members will be pleased also.

We met with 4 fence companies and went to look at addresses of their vinyl fence work. Standard had the sturdiest fences by far. We found that many companies do not warranty their gates, but Standard Fence uses a product with a welded, heavier gate that won't sag. It was much nicer than any we'd seen. Mike was great to work with, from pricing different looks (we went with a Victorian in the front and plain in the back) to accepting a credit card down payment and rushing our order. We were coordinating with some concrete work, so the fence had to be up first. It was ordered and installed within 2 weeks. He was onsite each day of the installation and his guys did a great job. Each post went into 3 ft of concrete and all was complete the first day, except for hanging the heavy gates, they came back the next day for that. They put the hardware on and I hated it--it was very large and I just found it too hard to fumble with while carrying my baby. Mike was really nice about changing it out--he came that day with keyed, lock handles that were much easier to use. I'd recommend those ones to anyone. We are very happy and getting lots of compliments from neighbors. Plus, it has a lifetime guarantee.

Everything was perfect except for one thing, the handle kept falling off and it took them awhile to get it fixed and then it fell off again. They fixed a eventually. They did the job in two days which is what is was expected to be. They were good at returning phone calls and showing up on time. I would recommend them to others.

I hired this company ten years ago to install a wooden fence and gate ten years ago. It turned out fine, but two years ago parts seemed wobbly and I discovered that the crew had taken a shortcut. The other posts were set in cement, but two posts were set in the ground and are now rotted through just below ground surface. They did the job on a day that I had to be away from home.

They came out when they were supposed to and kept in frequent contact with me. Good service.
